00:00If you move on from horrible after, what, 18 years, close to 20 years at the helm,
00:05you better not be going with a fly-by-night guy that's like,
00:07hey, I think I can make this work out.
00:08Where are we going with Baltimore's head coach?
00:10Would they go Stefanski?
00:11Would they stay in division?
00:13Yeah, just jab Cleveland like you stole our franchise,
00:15now we're going to steal his back?
00:17The problem that, I mean, here's the thing.
00:20You need, basically he was a special teams coach, right?
00:24The defense didn't step up this year.
00:26They were terrible, and I understand Kyle Hamilton and the defensive woes,
00:31but again, that defense was a sieve at the end of the regular season again,
00:35and who are you going to get to coach up Lamar Jackson?
00:38I didn't think Monken was an all-world offensive coordinator.
00:41You know who the favorite is right now on a couch sheet to be their head coach?
00:44Who, Baltimore?
00:45Yeah.
00:49Tell me.
00:49Jesse Minter.
00:51Defense.
00:52Hear me out on this too, Joe.
00:53So they're taking another hard ball, you know.
00:55Like, this applies for me across the board.
00:57Correct me if I'm wrong.
00:58You can find good defensive coordinators out there.
01:01It's hard.
01:02Once you get a good offensive coordinator, he's going to leave to be a head coach.
01:06You fired horrible, not because, honestly, Joe, the special teams or the defense.
01:10It's because you need to get Lamar Jackson on offense in gear at this point.
01:13The reason he gets canned is because he didn't want to have Jeff Monk.
01:15Oh, you're not firing Jeff Monk, and we're not going to do that.
01:18Understand this.
01:19Why would you hire a defensive coach?
01:21Wouldn't you get Lamar Jackson the best offensive coordinator you could possibly get?
01:24You would think, but again, you know, is Lamar the same player that he was?
01:29I understand he's hurt.
01:30He doesn't run as he used to.
01:33He doesn't take games over with his legs.
01:35When you look at the Ravens' playoff run last year, he was running the football a lot more
01:41than he did at the end of the regular season this year.
01:44And I understand he was nicked up.
01:46But granted, eight yards on the ground and 20 yards on the ground are not Lamar Jackson-esque
01:51type of football games.
01:53And when you don't have a pure number two outside of, you know, Zay Flowers, your number
01:57one wide receiver, the passing attack is limited.
02:00You can only go so far.
02:01It's like you're going on fumes, right?
02:04I mean, this offense was living off Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Zay Flowers with a passing
02:10attack that if you put them up against the other wide receivers and other units in the
02:15AFC, would they even be top 10?
02:18I mean, they didn't ride Derrick Henry when they had the opportunity.
02:24And then they finally got that going later in the season.
02:29Again, they were a complete train wreck.
02:31And that's why I believe Harbaugh lost his fastball.
02:34But again, part of that is to what Cap said, Lamar Jackson not being the same type of player
02:39as well.
02:40But who are you going to get?
02:41Yeah.
02:42Are you going to get a what?
02:43An offer?
02:44The reason why I say Stefanski is at least the guy's got playoff wins.
02:49Yeah.
02:49He did it with an aging quarterback.
02:51Granted, I didn't love what he did with the situation with Deshaun Watson not being able
02:56to throw for a 300-yard game in a Browns uniform, but he was able to do that with Joe Flacco.
03:03He was able to do that with Jameis Winston.
03:06I'm just saying, because if you get an offensive line like McDaniel, you get Kingsbury.
03:12I like Kingsbury.
03:13I do like Kingsbury.
03:14But I don't think he's a good fit in Baltimore.
03:16Because, like, Kingsbury's a better fit in Tennessee.
03:20For a younger quarterback.
03:21With a younger quarterback.
03:22Yeah, I agree with that.
03:23Stefanski does make sense.
03:24But, again, I'm just on this notion, because we've been talking about these coaches for
03:27a long time.
03:28I'm never hiring a defensive coordinator.
03:30Like, you've got to get your offense going.
03:31Find a good defensive coordinator to deal with.
