00:00It's very high. Very high.
00:07Phil, whenever you're ready, please, mate.
00:13Regis, obviously, you'd be very pleased to go through,
00:18but I imagine the manner of the performance, for the most part,
00:21you were quite pleased with it as well.
00:24Yeah, it was important to react after Brentford, I think.
00:29We were upset, which I think was normal because we were not at our best.
00:34Today we were ready for the fight because they are a good team,
00:39really intense, they like going direct through their strikers,
00:44to cross a lot, and we showed we were strong in duels
00:49and we were composed on the ball as well to play the football we want to play.
00:53Maybe we should have tried to create a bit more chances.
00:59We created two or three, scored once, and when it's only 1-0,
01:05a decision can affect the flow of the game.
01:09What did you think of the game?
01:12It's a bit harsh because when I reviewed the clip,
01:16it was difficult to award the penalty, but it was the case.
01:22It is what it is.
01:23A word for Robben. I don't think it's any surprise.
01:25He's been so consistent all season since he signed him,
01:28but to save all three penalties, I guess it says a lot about his nerve and his quality.
01:32Yeah, he's getting better, he's really young and he wants to learn.
01:36So I think when you give him opportunities to play at that level,
01:42he will grow quickly and I think it's only the beginning.
01:46So he will have ups and downs, which is normal, but he's really consistent
01:51and he helps the team for this penalty shootout.
01:57We spent so much time talking about Enzo's penalty.
02:01I guess it was always going to be the case that he's going to have to end up taking one today.
02:04How pleased were you with his response, not just that penalty,
02:07but his response across the entire game as well?
02:09Yeah, it was good, really good.
02:11I'm not surprised, but it was important to show it on the pitch,
02:15especially at the end of this busy period when you get a bit tired
02:21and it showed great consistency.
02:23It was important because we need decisive players to make the difference.
02:26So he scored and at the end of this long game, he scored this penalty as well.
02:33You know him very well, but it says something about his character,
02:36that not only he puts his hand up to it, but only the first one in the shootout to score so impact.
02:41Yeah, it was important to give the right rhythm.
02:45Robin made three impressive saves, but we had to score three goals as well.
02:52So Granit, Luke and Enzo did well.
02:55Luke, his first start in competitive football this season, I thought he played really well.
03:00Can I get your reflections on his performance?
03:02We spoke last week about the potential that he may be going because the competition in that part of the pitch is so intense.
03:08Are you sure of what you can offer?
03:09Yeah, the competition is really high and it's part of the pitch.
03:13And he did really well today.
03:15I'm really pleased for him, for the squad as well, because this part of the defence was exposed with direct play and really strong strikers.
03:25And it was really impressive even in the rest defence and to manage counter-attacks.
03:30With the ball he was composed as well, so happy for him, not surprised as well because I know him now after one season and a half.
03:38And he's a good, strong club captain, always available for the squad, for his teammates, even when he doesn't play.
03:48And today he showed great things.
03:51Can I just ask about Brian, you had to bring off in extra time, was that an injury issue?
03:55And also Reynaldo and Petrond obviously weren't involved today, was that just precaution?
03:59We are not too worried for Brian because it was tough, tight hamstrings.
04:06So we had this previously, so we didn't want to take unnecessary risks this afternoon.
04:13And for Reynaldo and Petrond, we'll see.
04:18Reynaldo might be available next week, but for Petrond we'll have to assess an injury.
04:22You got an injury while you're doing it?
04:24Yeah, yeah.
04:27Hi Regis.
04:28Can you talk us through a little bit of what happened before the penalty shootout?
04:34So did you have a five already in mind or did you go onto the pitch and did the players effectively say this is the five we want?
04:42And was it Enzo who said to you, I want the first one?
04:45You know, Brainy was in charge of the set pieces, had a list with five.
04:52And I agreed, so no problem, and the players were ready to shoot.
04:57And you said yesterday that, you know, you were going to go strong and you clearly really did that with the line-up.
05:04And it's only the second time someone has been in the fourth round in the last ten years.
05:10So already you've kind of made a bit of progress.
05:13But what does it say about your mindset hopefully for the FA Cup this season and how you want to tackle the competition?
05:20It's tough to say we want to win the FA Cup.
05:24It's not possible to say that because it's a long journey and predictable.
05:27But we wanted to respect the fixture.
05:30It's a competitive game.
05:32We were ready to fight and we want to be strong every day.
05:37So we didn't want to take unnecessary risks with three, four, five players.
05:43It was obvious.
05:44But the depth of the squad is good.
05:46And we played this game at 100% of our intensity.
05:51And I think for the next round it will be the same.
05:54We don't know who will be the opponent.
05:56And it's always tough to say we'll win.
05:59We don't know.
06:00But at least respect the game and try your best.
06:04And what do you think it says about Noah?
06:07Obviously, you know, he's only just come a couple of days till you have training with you.
06:11And then he goes in like he's never been away, which he must be really, really pleased about.
06:15Yeah, just after the elimination in AFCON, he told us that he wanted to train immediately to be connected with the squad.
06:24So it was a good sign.
06:26And we spoke yesterday about his fatigue.
06:31He's not fatigued.
06:32He's ready.
06:34I don't know if it will happen one day.
06:37And he played a good game once again.
06:40Really important in our squad.
06:41Granit, Noah and Enzo, I think we have a strong midfielder.
06:46All right.
06:48Done.
06:49Great.
06:50Cheers, guys.
06:51Thanks very much.
06:53See you on the trip back.
