00:00This show is a spoiler sensation, so if you haven't watched episode 4 of The Traitors yet,
00:06go and watch it now, and then come back to join us for more deception, drama and druids.
00:11Coming up, we'll be discussing the shock reveal of the secret traitor's identity.
00:16The latest player to be banished, Ross, is with us to dissect the surprise round table
00:19and the secret he's been keeping this whole time.
00:23Plus, we're about to have our first face-to-face murder,
00:25which I'm going to unpick in detail with superfans Angela Scanlon and Max Belegde,
00:30Series 1 traitor Wilf, and Series 2 faithful turn traitor Miles.
00:39We have to start with the biggest revelation of the series so far.
00:43Fiona is the secret traitor. Your reactions to that?
00:47Little red riding hood.
00:49With a little basket and everything. She's welcome.
00:52It is, of course, Fiona. I mean, I was willing it to be Fiona.
00:57From episode 1, I was like, please let it be Fiona.
01:01Did any of us suspect that it was Fiona?
01:03Angela, did you have any suspicions?
01:05I had, like, hopes that it would be Fiona, because she's so unassuming.
01:10I mean, obviously everyone was like, oh, she's playing a good game,
01:12being a bit ditzy and kind of clueless, as if that was a pretense.
01:17But I thought, oh, that's actually quite an obvious kind of line to tread.
01:20But I just love her voice and her insight and how sweet she looks outside.
01:28And then she sits in that chair and she's like, they haven't seen me coming.
01:33She's like rubbing her hands together.
01:35She's a beast and I love it.
01:37I love it.
01:37Yeah. What about you, Max? Did you suspect?
01:39I suspected her when she was in the car and she brought up Rachel's name.
01:43Because up until that point, nobody had really suspected Rachel.
01:46And then out of nowhere, she brings it up.
01:48But she didn't try too hard.
01:49And I thought, you know something here, love.
01:51You know.
01:52And she did.
01:53Yeah.
01:53She did.
01:54I thought, to be honest, it was like, it was so obvious it could have been her,
01:57but it couldn't have been her.
01:58Yeah.
01:58She's so cute and so, like, innocent looking.
02:00She's the perfect pick for it.
02:01She's perfect.
02:02Oh, my God.
02:03And then she went so hard for Hugo, I thought, maybe she's not.
02:06I was watching it going, surely that it's not going to be another Welsh person.
02:10They've done a lot.
02:11So many Welsh people.
02:13What, we've had Amanda.
02:15Amanda.
02:15We've had Andrew.
02:17And then we had Charlotte.
02:17We've had a fake Welsh traitor.
02:19And now another real Welsh traitor.
02:21And Hugo was Welsh as well.
02:23So this has done a lot to ruin the reputation for Welsh.
02:26Were there any clues that could have led us to Fiona?
02:29We've got the handwriting.
02:30Did anyone notice similarities with the handwriting,
02:33with the murder shortlist and the slates?
02:36That was one thing that we thought.
02:37Oh, I didn't even think of that.
02:38Well, I did think the handwriting was so good
02:42that a younger person might not have done that.
02:45You know what I mean?
02:45I just think, like, we use, like, younger people use technology a lot.
02:48Speak for yourself.
02:49I've got a useful handwriting.
02:51But I was like, it's an older person.
02:53That was my initial thought.
02:54I definitely thought it was going to be a female.
02:56Yeah.
02:56It's going to be a female.
02:57Because she was going for the lads all the time.
02:58The men were in the trapping block.
03:00For a long time.
03:01So it's like, yeah, it's going to be a good lady.
03:04So in episode one, on the way to the mission,
03:06I don't know if anyone else picked up on this,
03:08James says that no one in the car that he's in
03:10does he suspect to be a traitor.
03:12And Fiona's in that car
03:13and does a quiet little sort of smile out of the window,
03:17just glances off.
03:18I missed that.
03:19Did you catch that?
03:20I did catch that.
03:21But I think Fiona always looks like she's like,
03:23got sunshine, it's a lollipop.
03:25So she's just looking around and just having a great old time.
03:28I think she's played it beautifully.
03:29She is.
03:30There was also, and I mentioned this on a previous episode of Uncloaked,
03:33my biggest clue that Fiona was a secret traitor,
03:36the comment of saying,
03:38at home I've got a red bather that's a thong.
03:41Your husband's not going to recognise you when you get home.
03:43You're doing all the text.
03:44I'd be like Cindy Crawford.
03:45I'd be on Baywatch.
03:48It will.
03:50Yeah, I will.
03:51I've got a little red bather, which is a thong.
03:55Oh, dear, Fiona.
03:57Don't think I need to know that.
03:59That to me is the biggest clue.
04:01Yeah, 100%.
04:02There's no way they're including that in the edit.
04:04It's not a huge clue.
04:06And she threw it in on purpose.
04:07She's like, I'm going to mention red and I'm going to do it.
04:10Is it a little one for me, Hobie, at home?
04:13A little wink.
04:14Love her.
04:14Husband's thinking, I've never seen that.
04:16That's not fair.
04:19She's all talk.
04:20As a former traitor, how do you rate her gameplay so far?
04:23Oh, it's 10 out of 10, isn't it?
04:25It's got to be 10 out of 10.
04:25As long as she tones it down at some point, it's just great.
04:28And it's entertaining.
04:29It's really entertaining to watch somebody who's fully in the role and just enjoying it.
04:33Obviously, I cried all the time.
04:34So it's like watching somebody who's just enjoying it and taking it as a game, it's nice to watch.
04:39Yes.
04:39And Max, as a super fan, this has obviously been our opportunity to play the game at home.
04:44Have you enjoyed that?
04:45I loved it because I was dissecting everybody's glances, everybody, even the tone of their
04:50voice when they would say certain things.
04:52I found myself this season more than ever really paying attention and it just kind of
04:56showed to me how hard it is as a job of being a faithful.
05:00Let's talk about Fiona's relationship with the other traitors now that she's revealed
05:04herself.
05:04It's a little icy in here.
05:09Look at you, voting night Hugo.
05:11Do you know what?
05:12He messed up big time.
05:14So I had to go gun ho on him.
05:16Okay.
05:16It had to be done.
05:18I basically have done your job for you for the last few nights.
05:21She's already got the villain's last.
05:27She's phenomenal.
05:29Unbelievable.
05:30So brilliant.
05:31I think that that could be her biggest downfall is like Rachel actually said earlier in the
05:35show, no two traitors have ever won it together.
05:39So you've got to have your fellow traitors on side really to get to the end because they
05:43can throw you under the bus just as easily as you can throw them under the bus.
05:46Well, Miles, you know that more than anyone else.
05:49It's like a minute science.
05:49What do you make of the heightening tension in the turret?
05:53I think the thing is, I think Rachel is very much like you said, was the driving seat,
05:58kind of had Stephen under her thumb and then Fiona's come along now with this kind of power
06:02house, especially with the attitude.
06:04And so the alliances are kind of shattered because then Stephen's the kind of one in
06:08between the two ladies and I think it depends on how it kind of falls.
06:11He just needs to let them fight out, doesn't he?
06:13Yeah, just don't get involved.
06:14But I think you do need your traitors.
06:17Your traitors need each other at certain points.
06:19Yeah.
06:19And as soon as that kind of starts crumbling, as you saw.
06:22Especially this early in the game as well.
06:24It's very early.
06:25It feels like they need to stick together for a little bit.
06:26I mean, obviously in series three, we saw a fairly united traitors tunnel.
06:31It feels like things are crumbling pretty quickly.
06:34But I think Hugo being chucked so quick has kind of made them all a little edgy maybe.
06:40I think Hugo was the kind of common enemy, wasn't he?
06:42He was like, he's not going to last.
06:44Easy time.
06:45He's not going to last.
06:46And the faithfuls were annoyed by him and so were the traitors.
06:48So you've got no chance, mate.
06:50Now, speaking of Fiona, as we have been for pretty much the whole episode, her take on
06:55the mission was rather relaxed.
06:56She could not care less.
07:00I love it so much.
07:02She's walking around.
07:02She's literally trolling him.
07:04What would you say then, Angela?
07:05If you was in that box.
07:06I'm about to die.
07:07I'd be like, Fiona, babes, love you.
07:09Love your pace.
07:10Generally enjoy the way you exist in the world.
07:14But get your arse in gear.
07:15You're not sprained in an ankle.
07:16I'm not interested.
07:17The mission as a whole was quite a brutal display of allegiances because people had to
07:21pick the people they were protecting.
07:23Poor Sam.
07:25Poor Sam, completely alone.
07:27No one picked him.
07:28Apart from Rachel electing Amanda over fellow traitor Stephen, were there any other pairings
07:33that you found surprising?
07:35I think they were quite random, to be honest.
07:37From what we've seen, there weren't too many alliances that I could tell.
07:41Are we surprised that Sam was the one who was left out?
07:43No.
07:44No, I wasn't.
07:46No, I wasn't.
07:47I think he gives that vibe.
07:48Yeah.
07:49I even thought he was a secret traitor for a while.
07:52Because he gives off that vibe, like, I'm playing the game by myself.
07:56Well, soon we'll be getting Ross's reaction to the secret traitor twist, which, unbeknownst
08:00to the faithful, has been controlling the castle since the start.
08:04But first, we finish this episode with traitors Rachel and Fiona having to put their differences
08:08aside and decide who to kill to take suspicion of fellow traitor Stephen.
08:13So their choices are Sam, Rhys and Maz.
08:17Protect Maz at all costs.
08:19What I love about Maz, he's clearly such a sweet man.
08:22Yeah.
08:23And when he finds out he's on this, you know, big shortlist or whatever, that he's one
08:27of the people who could be murdered, he's like, oh, this is awful to be on the murder
08:31shortlist.
08:32And you want to go, brother, you've been on that list every day.
08:36You've been dodging them day and day.
08:37If only you, Fiona has been whacking you on the shortlist every single day.
08:42Why?
08:42I don't understand Fiona's problem.
08:43That's the nicest man.
08:45He's so innocent.
08:46Yeah.
08:47But I liked how when he was in the cage, he's like, I was in the police force.
08:52This is whatever happens here is granted.
08:55Clearly everyone is involved in the police force.
08:58Quite a lot.
09:00Maz needs to go.
09:01I'm really sorry.
09:02How dare you?
09:03Rhys already has suspicion on him.
09:05So you'd leave him in because they're going to banish him at some point anyway.
09:08Yeah.
09:08So you'd get, like, I'd get rid of Maz because people would be like, what's going on?
09:12Why would they get rid of Maz?
09:13It would just cause a bit more confusion.
09:15Then they'll look at Rhys a little bit.
09:17And Sam's got a lot of suspicion on him as well.
09:19Yeah.
09:19So I think that's really sad to say.
09:21I'm sorry.
09:21I love Maz as well, but see there.
09:23Do we think murdering Sam takes the spotlight off Stephen at all?
09:26Because Sam led the Judy banishment charge and he's been a bit quiet ever since.
09:31Sam just acts like a traitor sometimes.
09:33Yeah.
09:34He kind of gives that traitor confidence, maybe.
09:37Doing too much.
09:38If he kind of calms it down and becomes a good faithful,
09:41I don't think he seems like he's got a good alliance,
09:43many other faithfuls.
09:44Still really handsome guy.
09:46Oh, Alex.
09:46Alex.
09:48Because everyone thought he looked like you.
09:50That's why.
09:51Oh, what?
09:51Did they?
09:52Sorry.
09:53I'm not on the socials very often.
09:57Let's look at murdering Rhys as an option.
10:00Because it was neck and neck between him and Ross at the round table.
10:03He basically just got absolved of a lot of suspicion on him
10:06because he got so emotional.
10:07No, but the fact that Stephen saw that happen,
10:10as a traitor, I would then go,
10:11guys, this happened in the kitchen.
10:14Murder Rhys.
10:14You know, Harriet saw him crying
10:15and she was a big force in getting rid of Hugo.
10:18She no longer has any suspicion on him.
10:20It's kind of useless.
10:20We may as well get rid of him.
10:21Yeah, that's interesting.
10:22But, yeah, I suppose in that moment,
10:25Stephen is not deciding who to murder, of course.
10:28True.
10:28Because he's locked in a cage.
10:29I mean, I'm gutted for Stephen
10:31because this feels like a huge mistake.
10:33Did anyone spot the particular slip-up at the round table?
10:37Let's have a little reminder.
10:39There's just one point as well that I wanted to make.
10:43These murders in plain sight, right,
10:45they are designed to give us clues, OK?
10:48Because you're asking the traitors to do something
10:50whilst everyone is running wild around the castle, OK?
10:53Yeah.
10:54So, who was the last person I saw at that painting?
10:57Yeah.
10:58And I've spoken to you before, Maz, through this process.
11:01And so I was thinking to myself last night,
11:04you know, oh, sorry, this morning,
11:06after we found out how, you know, the thing was done.
11:09Dude.
11:11Dude, he's got to be more careful.
11:12And he was so confident.
11:14He was like, I'm going to smash this talk.
11:16One of the tales, though, I noticed in that
11:19is that he finishes every sentence with OK,
11:21which I think he's giving himself a breather
11:23to get my next sentence with him.
11:24It's not enough of a breather, though.
11:25There are no, OK?
11:26OK, so last night in the turret.
11:28And it's yet a full night.
11:29We were talking in the turret last night.
11:31OK, so I'm a traitor, faithful.
11:33Well, banished faithful Ross joins us next.
11:36But first, let's see how he reacted
11:38when he found out the identity of the traitors
11:40just after he left the game
11:42at Claudia's surprise morning round table.
11:44It's frustrating having been voted out as...
11:54Honestly, I had a perfect theory.
11:55Come on now.
11:56Like, literally, we know one of those five
11:59had to be a traitor.
12:01And they've set me up.
12:03And ultimately, I could tell on that round table
12:06they just were not listening
12:07to the facts that I was laying down.
12:11Traitors-wise, I think there were four.
12:13And at least one of those five
12:15who heard Ben's dying words is a traitor.
12:19And of those five,
12:21Ellie, I think, is a traitor.
12:24Stephen, I think, is a traitor.
12:26And then Fiona.
12:29It's so hard.
12:31It's so hard.
12:31But I do think Fiona is a silent assassin.
12:35Final one is Harriet.
12:37And it's just because of her behaviour
12:41on that last round table.
12:42It didn't make sense
12:43that she wasn't listening
12:44to what I was saying there.
12:46Is this now...
12:46Is this the point where I can now find out
12:48who the traitors are?
12:50All right.
12:52Oh!
12:56Oh, there we go.
12:59Oh, mate, OK.
13:01Yes!
13:08Stephen, I did know Stephen was a traitor.
13:12This makes me feel so good
13:15because I knew it!
13:16That's a win for me.
13:17I'll give you that.
13:19Right.
13:20Oh, you know what?
13:20I'm a bit worried
13:20to see who the next one is.
13:21Rachel.
13:33Rachel!
13:35That has stunned me.
13:38Oh!
13:41I'm not going to lie to you.
13:42Rachel was completely off my radar.
13:45I just thought she was just being
13:47unnecessarily stubborn.
13:49Ultimately, the traitors' plan
13:51was to get me out
13:52at the round table
13:53and she guaranteed
13:55without suspicion
13:56I'd always get at least one vote.
13:58I am super surprised
14:00Ellie's not on this list.
14:02She was really weirdly quiet
14:04at the round table.
14:05That was really weird to me.
14:06That surprised me.
14:08She has been a faithful
14:10and I was wrong.
14:14And Ross is with us now!
14:16Yay!
14:19Welcome to Uncloaked, Ross.
14:21Thank you so much for having me.
14:23It's a delight to have you here.
14:24Under sad circumstances, of course.
14:26You've gone out quite early.
14:27You know what?
14:28I'm actually really happy with my run.
14:30Honestly, I feel like
14:31blaze of glory, you know?
14:32Yeah.
14:32It was a huge blaze of glory
14:34in a way.
14:36Jilted! Jilted!
14:38We'll talk about your whole game
14:40but first, I do want to hear
14:42why you thought
14:43your own secret girlfriend
14:45was a traitor.
14:46Listen, right.
14:47So you lot don't know
14:48who I ever have at home.
14:49And so, she'd be like
14:51freezing up,
14:52I'm really nervous.
14:53I'm like,
14:54I'm literally under fire here.
14:56Who's got a chance?
14:57Who's nervous?
14:59And so I just couldn't empathise
15:01with her finding the experience.
15:03So, intimidating.
15:05Was there beef and onion
15:05when you got home?
15:06No, no, no, no, no.
15:07Maybe a little bit, yeah?
15:09It was more,
15:10I was like,
15:10do you know what?
15:11I didn't want her to go crazy
15:12but I was like,
15:13a little...
15:13A little drag.
15:15Sorry.
15:16A little left heart.
15:17Yeah.
15:18Like a little defence
15:19or leading the charge
15:20in an opposite direction, maybe.
15:22Don't get me wrong.
15:23The plan was,
15:24you know,
15:24we're working for the household,
15:25don't sacrifice yourself.
15:26Don't do nothing.
15:27Yeah.
15:29Buck me up a bit,
15:30but I did see later on
15:32in some bits
15:33that actually,
15:34you know,
15:34she was,
15:34she had my back,
15:35so, you know what I mean?
15:36Well, she must have felt,
15:37she must have felt quite sort of torn
15:39because she was also watching you
15:40have the most stressful game
15:42anyone's ever had.
15:43I think because it was
15:44as soon as you got out of the car
15:45when normally you can relax
15:46and sort of take the castle in,
15:48Nettie runs towards you
15:49and from that moment on
15:51you were under suspicion.
15:52At the time,
15:53I'd seen Nettie
15:54like early,
15:56if I say 20 seconds before.
15:57Yeah.
15:58And so I was like,
15:59yes,
16:00I've got a secret ally.
16:02Another one.
16:03It's supposed to be 22 strangers.
16:06It's 20 plus Ross and Nettie.
16:08And Ellie.
16:09And Ellie.
16:10Yes, and Ellie.
16:13Definitely be for home.
16:16And Nettie's gone,
16:17Ross,
16:18and I was like,
16:18no,
16:19no.
16:19And so I've frozen
16:20because I'm like,
16:21oh,
16:21this is not good.
16:22And she's run
16:23and she's jumped
16:24into my arms.
16:24And the problem with that
16:26is also that
16:27I'm like,
16:28everyone was like,
16:29oh,
16:29Ross,
16:29how was,
16:30you know,
16:30it looks really suspicious.
16:31I'm like,
16:31I don't care about you lot right now.
16:33Someone who,
16:34my partner who has no idea
16:35who they are
16:36just jumped into my arms.
16:38You guys have got the wrong priority.
16:40I really,
16:40I really.
16:41And he's like,
16:41oh,
16:42oh,
16:42really?
16:43Yeah.
16:43You've got some explaining.
16:45You've got some explaining.
16:45Is there footage anywhere
16:46of Ellie finding you in the castle
16:48and going,
16:48who the hell is that one?
16:49And that's what my actual initial fear
16:53and worry was.
16:54And so what's annoying,
16:55frustrating is
16:56I'm trying to hang it up
16:57and be like,
16:57oh my God,
16:59who is this?
17:00I can't believe.
17:01It's my platonic friend
17:02from years ago.
17:04Exactly.
17:05Wasn't a platonic friend.
17:06And so,
17:07yes,
17:07yes,
17:07yes.
17:07Okay.
17:08Just for clarity.
17:09It's actually generally innocent,
17:10but it looks terrible.
17:16You guessed Stephen
17:17and we also saw in that clip,
17:20you guessed Fiona as well.
17:21You referred to Fiona
17:22as a silent assassin.
17:24Yes.
17:24You couldn't have been much closer,
17:25you know,
17:26secret traitor,
17:26silent assassin.
17:28I just noticed she'd,
17:30like,
17:30I've spent a lot of time with Fiona.
17:32She's switched on.
17:33She's really,
17:34really switched on.
17:35So when she'd say stuff
17:36every now and again,
17:37like,
17:37what did he say?
17:39What did Ben say?
17:41I was like,
17:42you're asking a question
17:44you knew the answer to.
17:44Yeah.
17:45And so,
17:46for me,
17:47I was like,
17:47that was a flag,
17:48but it wasn't like a,
17:49yeah.
17:50And,
17:51and I mean,
17:52we're talking a lot
17:52about the Library Five.
17:54So the people who heard
17:55Ben's final words
17:56to look at you
17:57if he died.
17:58And so you suspected
17:59Stephen because of that.
18:00And Fiona was also there.
18:01It was two of the Library Five
18:02traces.
18:03That's true.
18:04And so,
18:05in my eyes,
18:06it was those three.
18:08I knew that,
18:10this is going to sound
18:11a bit arrogant,
18:11but I felt like
18:12Fiona would not kill me.
18:16And so,
18:16because of it,
18:17I was like,
18:17there's no point
18:17actually going out with Fiona.
18:19I'm obviously not going
18:20to ruin the household.
18:21And so,
18:22Stephen was actually
18:23the only viable
18:24person of that five
18:26who was like,
18:27yeah,
18:27you can go.
18:28And so,
18:29it just made sense.
18:30So you were so adamant
18:31it was LA.
18:32Like,
18:32you were like,
18:33I was,
18:35I couldn't,
18:35at that time,
18:36I could not think
18:37of any other reason
18:38for her to be so
18:39out of character.
18:40Like,
18:40if you know,
18:41if you guys,
18:41I would say if you know Ellie,
18:42she's actually a,
18:43like,
18:44wild,
18:45like,
18:45I'm actually the calm one.
18:47Really?
18:48She seems so quiet.
18:50That's it.
18:50And so,
18:50I was more like,
18:51who are you?
18:52Like,
18:53I was,
18:53I was,
18:54She's only chill
18:54when her boyfriend's
18:55under the threat
18:56of banishment.
18:56That's the only time
18:57she takes a back seat.
18:59You know what?
19:00After watching
19:01the first episode,
19:02I did now notice
19:03that basically,
19:04other than us two
19:05on the train
19:06where she's smiling
19:06and a bit like,
19:07every other scene
19:08was like,
19:09she's terrified.
19:12Can we,
19:13can we talk about
19:13the moment on the train?
19:16Obviously,
19:16you're trying to conceal
19:17that you're in a relationship.
19:19I'd say,
19:20it's the most obvious thing
19:21I've ever seen in my life.
19:22That conversation,
19:23the,
19:24I'm from London.
19:25Is it?
19:26Is it?
19:26Is it?
19:27Is it?
19:28I went,
19:28is it?
19:30Hey!
19:31That was a good one.
19:32Is it?
19:33I think,
19:34is it will be your legacy
19:35on this show.
19:36I hope so.
19:36No one's ever been
19:37that surprised
19:38to hear someone's
19:39from London.
19:41Well,
19:41Ellie's claimed
19:42that she's going to
19:43avenge your banishment.
19:44I hope so.
19:45Yeah.
19:45I hope so.
19:46She should be.
19:47She's got,
19:47I feel like I've laid
19:48the clues,
19:49you know,
19:50with evidence.
19:51So,
19:51like,
19:52beautifully articulated
19:53and very calm.
19:54I just,
19:55yeah,
19:56but then Rater went,
19:57what was the turret like?
19:58And you were like,
19:58oh,
19:59that was crazy.
20:00Oh my God.
20:01I don't know what anyone
20:02would say in that situation.
20:03I know.
20:04You pretending that you didn't know
20:05what the turret was
20:06was brilliant.
20:06We should talk about this.
20:08Let's remind ourselves
20:08of that moment.
20:09Brilliant.
20:10Can I ask you a question?
20:11Please.
20:12Was Hugo this dramatic
20:13in the turret?
20:14Was Hugo this?
20:17I'm sorry,
20:17I don't understand.
20:18Was Hugo dramatic
20:19in the turret?
20:22I didn't,
20:22in what turret?
20:23And she's like,
20:27I rest my case.
20:31She's so evil.
20:31I mean,
20:32a brutal move from Rachel,
20:33I think.
20:34Wild play.
20:35And then she tries to claim
20:36it was a joke afterwards.
20:37She's like,
20:37I jokingly said this.
20:38It's like,
20:38your face wasn't showing up.
20:39That was the little
20:40jockey joke,
20:41I would have seen.
20:42But then,
20:42I mean,
20:43look,
20:43I felt bad for you
20:44for this whole game,
20:45Russ,
20:45because from minute one,
20:47you're like,
20:47no one else is under suspicion.
20:48You get out of the car,
20:49Nettie runs up to you
20:50and the game never slowed down
20:51from that point.
20:52Sadly.
20:52So I understand
20:53there's so much going on
20:54at this point,
20:55you're going to go,
20:56what turret?
20:57But have you worked out
20:58what the turret is yet?
20:59I do now.
20:59Yeah, yeah, yeah.
21:01Hats off to you.
21:02He's had the hardest start
21:04I've ever seen anybody have.
21:05It's the most brutal
21:07Rachel V. Ross
21:08since Friends season 6.
21:12It's such a leading question
21:13though as well,
21:13isn't it?
21:13I thought that was her slipping up.
21:16So what's really funny was
21:17when that was going on,
21:19I was like,
21:19bruv,
21:20have you just
21:20outage yourself?
21:22And also,
21:22what I didn't want to do
21:24at the time as well
21:24was say traitors.
21:25I don't know why,
21:26in my head,
21:26I just thought,
21:27if you say traitors,
21:28people will associate you with.
21:30And I was like,
21:31bruv,
21:31and I still thought
21:32it was a weird thing to say,
21:33but I understand now
21:34the game
21:35was a powerful thing to do.
21:36Max,
21:37how would you cope
21:37in that situation
21:38if you were at the round table?
21:39I think I would cry
21:40and run away.
21:42I don't think that would raise
21:43any suspicion whatsoever.
21:45Yeah.
21:46Ross,
21:46why did you and Ellie
21:47decide to go into the game together?
21:49Oh,
21:49so actually,
21:50Ellie was the one
21:51that applied for us.
21:52And we loved the show.
21:54Yeah.
21:54So we'd watched
21:55two,
21:58season two and three.
21:59And then when she said
22:00we should try for it,
22:02I was like,
22:03you sure?
22:04Because obviously,
22:05so many people,
22:05it's such a popular show,
22:07so many people on it.
22:08And so,
22:08yeah,
22:08I'm not really like that.
22:09Has it brought you
22:10closest together?
22:11Yes.
22:11Oh,
22:12yes.
22:13Or has it exposed
22:15some serious flaws
22:16in your relationship?
22:18Love Island.
22:20I have,
22:21yeah,
22:21to be fair to you,
22:21I've seen a lot more,
22:23I've seen a lot more really,
22:24actually,
22:25if that makes sense.
22:25Because I think,
22:27especially in a relationship,
22:27I don't know if you're competitive,
22:29but she'd keep her guard up
22:31quite a bit.
22:32So now understanding,
22:33oh,
22:33that's what that face means.
22:35That's been really,
22:36really helpful
22:37because like,
22:37no,
22:39it's been good.
22:39I think it's bad.
22:39I've seen your own reactions
22:40on TV.
22:41It is.
22:42Oh,
22:42that's what my face looks like.
22:44Were there any moments
22:47when you're in the castle
22:48that you nearly slipped up,
22:49that you nearly sort of
22:50revealed a little bit
22:51of the secret relationship
22:52to the other players?
22:54No,
22:54I was actually really playing with it.
22:56Weirdly,
22:57our relationship
22:57was the most fun
22:59and comfortable thing
23:00for me personally
23:00because I just,
23:01I don't know why,
23:02arrogantly,
23:03I knew nobody would guess.
23:05Yeah.
23:06And especially obviously
23:07after the Nettie scenario,
23:08I was like,
23:08bruv,
23:09we can do whatever.
23:09But there was no,
23:10there was no point
23:11at the end of the day.
23:12Let's just go to get you.
23:16At the end of the day,
23:17you didn't like
23:18accidentally kiss her
23:18on the lips
23:19and then have to kiss
23:19everyone on the lips.
23:20That's why he got banished.
23:25It's not an excuse anymore.
23:27Yeah,
23:28we're going to have
23:28to get rid of Ross.
23:29He keeps snocking with her.
23:32It's obviously out there now
23:34that you and Ellie
23:35are in a relationship,
23:36but when the first
23:37three episodes
23:38were going out,
23:39have you been trying
23:40to not be seen together
23:41or trying to keep it safe?
23:43So,
23:43yes,
23:44we've had to leave
23:45the house
23:45at separate times
23:46where we went to go
23:49watch the first episode
23:49that my family's together.
23:51Ellie took a big jacket
23:53and sunglasses.
23:55Like,
23:55it's going over the top.
23:57And I get it,
23:57to be fair,
23:58because we live
23:58where we live
23:59and so we don't want people
24:00to just ruin the fun.
24:02Yeah, yeah.
24:02And so,
24:03yeah,
24:03we've been doing
24:03every bit extra,
24:05which has been a bit long,
24:06but it's fun.
24:07And so,
24:07also,
24:08and telling friends,
24:09bruv.
24:10Yeah,
24:10because I was going to say,
24:11the neighbours next door,
24:12like,
24:12hey,
24:13yeah,
24:14they're neighbours,
24:15they're my neighbours.
24:15I've been using this emoji
24:16non-stop
24:17and then everyone else
24:18has been like,
24:18keep it to yourselves.
24:19And also,
24:20because it's fun,
24:21you get to show in the secret.
24:22You're in the circle.
24:24Yeah, yeah, yeah.
24:25Who do you think
24:26is going to survive
24:27tonight's face-to-face murder,
24:28Ross?
24:29We've obviously got...
24:30Stephen.
24:31We've got Stephen.
24:31Stephen will survive,
24:32yeah.
24:34Really?
24:36We should survive,
24:37because obviously,
24:37if I was a traitor,
24:38I'm keeping him in the heaven.
24:39Yeah.
24:39I'd probably kill Maz.
24:42That's what I said.
24:43I said that.
24:44We love Maz.
24:45I love Maz.
24:46I'm sorry, Maz,
24:47but explain yourself.
24:48I love Sam,
24:49but Sam has rubbed some people
24:51not the right way.
24:52Yeah.
24:52So,
24:53actually...
24:54Ross is so nice,
24:55he won't even say the word wrong.
24:56I'm obsessed with him
24:57the incorrect way.
24:59Yeah.
25:00You've rubbed me
25:01not the right way.
25:02A little feedback
25:07for you there.
25:08Yeah.
25:10The turret.
25:11What turret?
25:13Ross,
25:14although your time
25:15was cut savagely short,
25:16you've entered
25:16the Traitor's History books
25:18because you are
25:19the second Ross
25:20to be in a secret relationship.
25:23The other one with his mum.
25:24Yeah.
25:26Of course.
25:26What's that season?
25:28You follow,
25:29in the footsteps of
25:30secret son Ross
25:31to Diane,
25:32who was, of course,
25:33Miles' murder conquest.
25:35Congratulations.
25:36We'd like to commemorate
25:37that here on Uncloaked.
25:39A little portrait
25:39for you to take home.
25:42So you can have
25:43the other Ross at home.
25:45All the Rosses.
25:46All the Rosses.
25:47You can take that home with you.
25:48And we've sent him
25:49one of you as well, so...
25:51Nice.
25:53Well, we're out of time

25:54but we'll keep chatting
25:55over on BBC Sounds.
25:57I'm going to ask Ross
25:58more about his secret
25:59in the castle
25:59and if Fiona's arrival
26:01in the turret
26:01will make or break
26:02the traitors.
26:03Plus, there'll be more
26:04from Angela, Max,
26:05Wilf, and Miles.
