00:00The rushing title race last night.
00:02So James Cook, if you're waking up and you don't know what Henry needed
00:04and what he got, James Cook did win the rushing title yesterday.
00:09He got 15 yards when he came in.
00:11He ended up winning it by, I think, about 20.
00:14So he would have won anyway, but it would have been a sweat
00:17at the last couple of minutes.
00:19That game, though, developed in a way where you kind of knew
00:24with like two minutes to go, three minutes to go,
00:26that Henry wasn't going to get it.
00:27They weren't going to run the ball.
00:30They ran it like twice, I think, on their final couple of drives,
00:33and he got stopped.
00:35So if he had broken one, you know, it still could have gone to him.
00:38But I'm with Mo.
00:39I thought when that game started, right away, big run,
00:44oh, but there's a penalty, but it was clear like, oh,
00:46Pittsburgh's going to have trouble stopping him the entire day.
00:50And you go into the fourth quarter, and he still needed only like 30-something yards,
00:55I think, and I thought that he still was probably going to get it
00:59then.
01:00And then again, like Pittsburgh driving up and down the field a couple of times
01:05made it so that the game became more of a shootout,
01:08and you got less Henry.
01:10So good for Cook.
01:11And deserved, right?
01:13Because even though Henry would have had it,
01:17had a game script played out a little bit differently last night,
01:20I mean, Cook gets one fewer game than Henry.
01:23Because Henry had everything to play for in Week 18, and the Bills really didn't.
01:28So he only gets two carries, and he averaged seven and a half yards,
01:31and we saw what Ray Davis did.
01:33Like, there's no doubt at all that Cook would have went off against the Jets
01:36yesterday if they wanted him to.
01:38So he deserved the rushing title over 1,600 yards, the first bill to do it since
01:43OJ in the 70s.
01:45I think 76 is the year that the last time that happened.
01:49Thurman never did it.
01:50Thurman would have had, you know, all the receiving yards to get him in the lead
01:53in that category.
01:54But a huge year for Cook.
