00:00How are you? Happy New Year. Happy New Year to you. I feel like it's so healing to see like Mariah Carey's back at Christmas, Kate Hudson's in Aspen.
00:08Like if you're there every year, it just feels healing in a way. Oh, I love that. I love it. Well, it is for me.
00:13It's going, I was raised there. So it's like, for me, that's going home. And was it different this year to have, to be away and have a movie in theaters on Christmas Day?
00:22Were you able to slip into any theaters? Do you still do that? Yeah. Yeah. It was, it was really, I honestly, there was a lot of nerve.
00:30And yeah, because I really want people to go to the theater. You know, I think everybody here that's being celebrated tonight.
00:37Like this year was so rich with so many great movies and people are starting to really get back in the theater and it's exciting.
00:44So when you have a movie like we do, like Song Blue, it plays so great in a movie theater.
00:51And I just want to see, I just want people to go see it. And so I had those nerves.
00:56And then, and then I also had like, cause it's such a small town.
01:00I had the great pleasure of like walking around and people coming up to me, getting really emotional.
01:05And I was like, I've never really had that before where, yeah, where like someone starts to talk about the movie and they start to cry.
01:13And I, I was like, Oh, that feels like, you know, it's great when you can hit people's like tug at people's heart like that.
01:22And you deserve it. Cause you're so brilliant. You got to go New Year's resolutions.
01:25I just honestly, I want to read as much as possible. Read, read, read. I try and I, I wish I could read like speed read and I go into bookstores and I'm like,
01:37it's so weird and awful that I'll never be able to read all of these books and I want to, but so just read.
