00:00But I was giving a little thought, Tyrone, as we start off the new year,

00:04with who the coach of the year is.

00:07And to me, you have three legitimate candidates, okay?

00:10I've got Liam Cohn in Jacksonville, who all of a sudden has unlocked

00:13whatever needed to be unlocked for that offense.

00:18Yeah, Trevor Lawrence is playing well, really well.

00:20Yeah, Trevor Lawrence is playing really good football.

00:21And by the way, that's without Travis Hunter.

00:23Travis Hunter's been out over a month now, and he's not coming back.

00:26And the Jacksonville Jaguars are balling,

00:28and obviously going to be playing in the postseason.

00:31So I got Liam Cohn, who came, by the way, let's not forget,

00:35started off his career in Jacksonville in a very awkward, strange manner

00:39when he tried to do the Duvall thing.

00:42Yeah.

00:42And it sounded as if, like, you know, our weird producer Ryan was doing it.

00:49Like, Duvall.

00:57And I love Ryan, but he's strange.

01:37And while they might not make the playoffs, obviously, you have to wait

01:40to see what they do against Tampa coming up, you know, this weekend.

01:44The reality is that they are favorites now because of the Atlanta Falcon

01:48win against the Rams Monday Night Football.

01:51All of a sudden, Carolina has a better shot of winning that division

01:57and getting in as the fourth seed than Tampa does.

02:00Yeah.

02:00Panthers now have two chances to get in.

02:02Right.

02:02The Buccaneers only have one chance.

02:04The Buccaneers must win.

02:05And Atlanta has to lose.

02:07Right.

02:07Now, if the Panthers win, obviously, they're in.

02:10But if they lose and Atlanta wins, Panthers also get in.

02:12So, they get two cracks at getting in.

02:14And give Canals credit.

02:15Yes.

02:16Because he's doing it without a quarterback, in my opinion.

02:21Look, I say what you're talking about Bryce Young.

02:23He's had a better year.

02:24100% he has.

02:25He's not a very good quarterback.

02:27And yet, they're a game away from making it into the postseason.

02:31And then the third guy, you've got to look at Mike Vrabel.

02:35Because you have to look at what the Patriots did last year.

02:38And Drake May was there last year.

02:40Yep.

02:40Versus what they're doing this year, right?

02:43And Mike Vrabel, who's obviously got the best record and has done a great job.

02:49And they've got a home playoff game coming their way.

02:51They won the AFC East for the first time in a long time.

02:55Well, it's seven years, I guess, now.

02:56Because Buffalo's kind of owned it.

02:58I don't think.

02:59Look, there's other coaches who've done good jobs.

03:02But to me, those are your big three.

03:04Those are your big three for coach of the year.

03:07I can go to Houston and say, Domingo's done a great job.

03:10But, you know, there's an expectation they'd be good.

03:13And they were 0-3.

03:14So, there were a lot of people who wrote them off completely.

03:17You go to Seattle.

03:18McDonald's done a great job.

03:19Deserves credit.

03:20They might be the number one seed.

03:21Maybe I add his name to the list doing it with Sam Darnold.

03:25First year in his system.

03:26Done a great job.

03:27Yeah, sure.

03:28People like Sean Payton for whatever reason.

03:30I find it to be kind of a jerk.

03:32But Sean Payton did a great job.

03:35Number one seed in the AFC is still there for them.

03:39But they also made the playoffs last year.

03:41Right?

03:42So, if you want to add Payton.

03:43Look, I'll add Sean Payton.

03:44They're making a five.

03:45I know people will vote for him because they want to kiss up to him.

03:48He's beloved by certain people in the industry.

03:50So, if those are the five, I would go Payton fifth.

03:55I would go Vrabel fourth.

03:58Four.

03:59I would go McDonald third.

04:01I would go Canales second.

04:04And I think your coach of the year is Liam Cohen.

04:08And I think he is your coach of the year for what he's done.

04:13He resurrected Trevor Lawrence's career.

04:15And he resurrected the Jacksonville Jaguars.

04:17And what's crazy about that is that was the division we all agreed that division stinks.

04:24Yeah.

04:25That division is getting multiple teams into the postseason.
