00:00All of a sudden, Rahm's like, shoot, what did I do?
00:04You know, that's the guy that comes to my brain in all this.
00:06A hundred percent, because I think that, you know, reflected in the strategy of what it seemed like Liv was trying to do with player acquisitions this offseason.
00:16Really, the only two of note were Victor Perez and then Laurie Cantor.
00:20Laurie Cantor's had the most rollercoaster ride of, like, Liv to playing in a Players' Championship back on the PGA Tour and then goes right back to Liv at the end of the season after earning a full tour card playing on the DP World Tour.
00:32But Perez and Cantor are your only kind of marquee, I don't even think is the right word for them, and you're losing Brooks.
00:39And the whole goal with this format change of softseason going from 54 to 72 holes is can we work our way towards OWGR points?
00:47And then the hopes of bringing guys in who have higher standings, you know, in the OWGR would be to kind of raise the rating of those fields.
00:56And I don't know, you know, I'll be very curious to see if and when they do get OWGR points.
01:00Do you do some sort of backdating to reflect the standing of these guys to make it so that Liv, you know, the guys that have fallen off the face of the earth in terms of these standings can, who's to say there?
01:11But for Rahm, to your point on Rahm, if you're losing a Brooks, if you're eventually going to lose a Bryson, you know, these fields are going to start getting weaker and weaker.
01:20That's right.
01:21That's right.
01:22So DP ruling is the other part of this.
01:23If it rules against him and Hatton and all this to where they have to pay their fines for every event that they participate on the DP World Tour and him potentially not paying the Ryder Cup,
01:32we're talking about a decision that could completely shape his entire career.
01:36Yeah, undoubtedly, especially when you think of it from the perspective of in his prime and his prime, because if you cannot play on the Ryder Cup team and that that's where I just feel like one way or another,
01:51the DP World Tour has got to find a way if they want to keep the strength of their Ryder Cup team up to not rule a Rahm and Hatton out of selection.
02:02There's already precedent, man.
02:04I just don't I don't see how they're going to finagle their way through this.
02:07But it's it's a really, really dicey situation over there.
02:13And I don't know.
02:13Go ahead.
02:18Go ahead.
02:18Go ahead.
02:19Go ahead.
