00:00and still as fast as lightning yeah look the power that he possesses but it's not a thumping
00:06power it's that explosive speed that explosive power the full work he gets in position and all
00:12of a sudden he's landed three four five shots and then he's angled off a lot like i did in my fight
00:16against lopez you know i have very fast yeah it's a competition here like it's a very strong guy
00:23brings out a big crowd doesn't he's an absolute superstar in world boxing and this was another
00:28exquisite performance joe rogan reacts live to naoya inouye versus alan picasso by calling inouye
00:35a true legend of the sport rogan is impressed by how fast inouye's feet are and how smoothly he
00:40moves in and out of range he highlights that the power is completely unmatched for the division
00:45and says inouye combined speed precision and strength in a way very few fighters ever do
00:51that's amazing i was so excited he's a legend of the sport he is a legend and he's a he's such an
00:56unusual guy you know what's crazy about him is his calves yeah when you look at that they're giant
01:02when olexander usick is asked about naoya inouye's performance against alan picasso his response shows
01:08clear respect and admiration usick pauses then smiles before praising inouye's speed and presence
01:14in the ring he openly says i like naoya very fast highlighting how quickly inouye moves and reacts
01:19usick adds that inouye is a very strong guy despite competing in lighter weight classes he explains
01:24at the power speed and balance inouye shows make him dangerous at all times who six words reflect
01:30how elite fighters recognize inouye's greatness instantly look who's here the unified heavyweight
01:35champion of the world olexander usick olexander you're watching another pound for pound fighting inouye
01:39have you been impressed with his performance so far yeah i like i like uh this is show uh nakatanya fight
01:45great with mexican guy you know i i i i happy what do you think inouye needs to do to get the stoppage
01:52the boxing world was buzzing after naoya inouye's dominant performance against alan picasso
02:17social media lit up with highlights reactions and breakdowns showcasing inouye's relentless
02:22style and ability to control every aspect of a fight henry a boxing analyst offered a tactical
02:28perspective he observed that picasso entered the ring with a very high guard keeping his gloves up
02:33to protect his chin demonstrating solid defensive discipline however picasso's elbows were held too
02:39far forward leaving his body open which inouye immediately exploited inouye's lead hand sharpness and
02:46speed allowed him to land devastating body shots while maintaining unpredictability the contrast in
02:51power was clear inouye's punches carried immense impact while picasso's lacked the same effect henry
02:58emphasized that inouye's combination of offensive precision and defensive awareness made him in complete
03:03control throughout the fight highlighting why he is regarded as one of boxing's most dangerous fighters
03:09fight when i saw the two men get into the ring the first thing that i noticed straight away was picasso
03:14was carrying an incredibly high guard defensively keeping his gloves very very high trying to protect
03:19his chin and one thing i'll say in general about picasso in this fight is that his defensive awareness
03:24was very very impressive he very rarely dropped his hands after he threw a shot his discipline
03:29was incredibly good but the problem with that is that sometimes it leaves a lack of room for creativity
03:34with fighters yes it's important to be defensively disciplined but if you continue to give the same
03:39look over and over again you're never ever going to beat a guy like inouye the first thing i said at
03:44the beginning of my live about this guy was i looked at him and i went his elbows are incredibly flared
03:49you know he had the high guard but his elbows were very very far forwards which instantly made me think
03:53he's giving the body to inouye he's offering it to him now that can sometimes be done because it's
03:57to create counter-punching opportunities but in this instance i think it was just that he was so
04:01concerned about protecting his head about not getting knocked out with a shot to the head
04:04that the body was there all night for inouye and inouye took it he took the invitation and he
04:08constantly stabbed to the body of picasso and in fact i'd say that this fight kind of was a story
04:13of the body shots in many ways picasso like inouye had most of his success to the body the left hook
04:19in particular was a money shot for picasso but the difference between these two men was so obvious to
04:24see when they were standing in the pocket and they were exchanging left hooks in particular to the
04:28body the impact of inouye's shots was totally different from picasso's it was like picasso had
04:34cushions pillows inside his gloves and inouye had a bloody egg weight it was damaging it was vicious
04:40and picasso simply couldn't hang in the pocket for long periods of time with inouye i mentioned the
04:45lead hand of inouye there to the body but the lead hand of inouye in general in this fight was
04:49incredible to see i mean the sharpness the speed on it the different levels that he throws it from
04:54it's unbelievably unpredictable and difficult to read as a shot and it allows him to control fights
04:59one thing i've noticed about inouye having watched him for a little while now and something i think
05:03he definitely does on purpose is he lowers himself to the level of what's in front of him at times
05:07because he wants you to open up so he can counter you and land large shots on you ones that you don't
05:11see coming so that he can knock you out he's good enough to be able to do that and keep himself safe
05:16at the same time what was testament to this was inouye's movement is exquisite it's exceptional there
05:20were moments when he was using that jab that i just mentioned dancing around the ring using that lateral
05:25movement popping the head of picasso regularly easily landing on him with that jab i mean picasso
05:31was forced to keep a high guard at all times because the power of inouye is so good that even
05:35when he's in motion he will hurt you but the testament to this idea that inouye will lower himself to
05:41what's in front of him is that there was moments where inouye was just standing on the ropes
05:44mike tyson acknowledges na oya inouye's incredible skill and calls him the monster tyson says inouye is
05:51faster stronger and more precise than many champions he has seen even claiming he is better than manny
05:56paccio in his prime he highlights inouye's power footwork and ring iq as unmatched for the division
06:02tyson's praise shows the respect a legend has for a current superstar dominating every aspect of the
06:08sport hey look up this young fighter called the monster you ever hear monster no japanese fighter called
06:14monks this is crazy crazy dude that means i love it oh yeah you can see this bad look like months he's
06:23he's better than maddie pacquiao nine pacquiao's doing like that just as good he looks like a pop star
06:29oh wait till he get on these the most efficient hunting machine in all the boxing he's vicious that's a
06:36bad guy he'd be too broke him down 118 yeah who the hell fights in that division yeah but who some
06:45bad yeah some killers paulie malinagi shared his thoughts on what might be next for naoya inouye
06:54analyzing his recent fight with alan picasso he noted that inouye's dominance was clear but
06:59speculated that future opponents like nakatani would need to respect his power even more than previous
07:05challengers malina aji pointed out that inouye took picasso the full 12 rounds and imagining a
07:10fight going the distance with someone like nakatani would be incredible highlighting inouye's stamina
07:16and consistency he also observed that inouye may have been holding back his right hand slightly
07:21possibly due to a minor issue though nothing was officially confirmed despite this inouye's
07:26performance remained commanding and he won decisively malinagi suggested that these factors
07:31make inouye a difficult puzzle for any fighter emphasizing that his combination of speed power
07:36and ring intelligence will continue to make him one of the most dangerous and unpredictable
07:40champions in boxing that i'm not that i was picking nakatani or inouye yet i really hadn't
07:44really made up my mind who would win between them i thought it was a good fight anyway i don't
07:47think it's an easy fight to pick but i do think that um that i i i do think that it's a completely
07:54different style you're going to see inouye fight with nakatani than than you did uh hernandez today
07:59you know i thought um i thought um uh nakatani did a a solid solid job of again getting off those
08:08those good punches hard punches it was he couldn't get the respect and and that and that's something
08:13that will lead you to think something's going into the inouye fight but remember inouye does get
08:18hurt inouye has been down at this weight class so you know you land those hard shots clean hard
08:22shots like that on inouye i i think he's gonna he's gonna have to respect that power of nakatani
08:28more so than hernandez did today now knowing anyway took on david picasso and uh and uh another
08:33surprising result in that this one also went the distance can you imagine nakatani and and inouye
08:39both going the distance was would have been crazy crazy odds if you're a gambler but uh inouye won the
08:45fight going away um it's i don't know you didn't get asked the question in the post fight interview
08:50but to me it seemed like inouye's right hand may have been bothering him again just assuming here
08:54because we didn't get any confirmation we didn't it's not like the post fight interview or the
08:58broadcast ever actually brought out something that was obvious which was that inouye was uh was
09:03actually not throwing his right hand many many times when he could have uh was going left hand heavy
09:08um even when he had picasso up against the ropes a lot of times he did he didn't throw didn't throw
09:13the right hand or bail or barely throw a right hand so i'm not quite sure that you know just my
09:18assumption but i'm not quite sure that anyway he had not her at least heard or tweaked his hand
09:22his right hand in this fight and that might be why david picasso was able to go the distance but
09:27also picasso did some clap crafty clever things uh made himself a moving target even when he was
09:31standing still a lot of up and down rotational movement um hip and up and down change of level
09:38movement uh when he was stuck up against the ropes and he was when he was in front of inouye so inouye
09:42couldn't get hit get to him too clean when he got stuck against ropes also made himself a small
09:46target by staying low uh he would change the look by change level by going up and then back down
09:51um just things that you know weren't giving inouye any threat to lose the fight but they were making
09:57and giving inouye problems as far as tracking him down and and getting to him uh cleanly uh inouye was
10:03going to the body very very well i thought picasso took some really tremendous body shots and and
10:07you gotta credit him for taking those well the ring magazine posted on x stated naoya inouye has
10:13doubled alan picasso in punches landed 170 85 after six rounds according to compubox naoya inouye's
10:21dominance is clear with this striking mid-fight statistic the numbers show how inouye controls
10:26the action with relentless pressure precision and volume leaving alan picasso struggling to keep up as
10:32the rounds progress analyst liam golf highlights naoya inouye one of the most dangerous boxers in the world
10:39today he notes that for the first time in inouye's career he has gone back to back 12 round fights
10:45showcasing his stamina and consistency at the highest level golf emphasizes how formidable inouye is
10:52offensively combining precision speed and power which makes him incredibly difficult to challenge
10:57against alan picasso inouye faced a confident opponent who approached the ring with determination
11:03yet inouye's skill and strategy dominated throughout golf also praises the overall
11:08presentation of the fight in saudi arabia from the unique atmosphere to the traditional music during
11:13breaks creating a refreshing experience compared to typical western shows he concludes that both inouye's
11:19performance and the event's setup reflect the high standard of modern boxing cementing inouye's
11:25reputation as a truly elite fighter and he's gone back to back 12 rounds as in 12 round decisions
11:31apparently that's never and judging by how formidable he is offensively and how good he is you know it's
11:36easy to see why if that is in fact the case um this fight right here alan picasso came in confident and
11:46you can see in his approach to the ring inouye stoic and i did like it was different you know the way like
11:53when you know when you're going to the the minute rest and they normally just play whatever whatever
11:59whatever they were playing like kind of samurai music like japanese and i quite liked it it was
12:04quite nice actually and you listen to that and you're thinking actually i'd rather listen to this than
12:07listen to you know some of the crap that they play you know on most shows in the uk and us during the
12:14one minute rests i quite enjoyed it the whole show as a whole i enjoy it i liked setting it was it was
12:21actually very i really i really enjoyed it actually i have to say i really did it's a really good show
12:25more then please i really like the asian kind of team in saudi arabia but this fight itself right so
12:30first round starts a new way a new way tends to he he can be a quick starter at times and we've seen
12:38that we certainly have in first rounds and stuff like that you know but not a crazy amount of first
12:44round stoppages if i think off the top of my head he stopped i can't remember the guy's name um in a
12:50a round i remember that that was in the world boxing super series a couple of years ago many
12:53years ago now but he's not really one for going out there and just blasting you out and around he
12:57might hurt he might drop you in the first round but he normally carries you at least into well
13:01normally into like the second or third round at least and he was not really doing much in the first
13:06round in a way but straight off the bat you could see that picasso he he did the high guard
13:12and kept the high guard he tried to punch with a new way which is something that you can actually do
13:17it's very risky because a new way will also punch with you and a new way's hand speed foot
13:22speed is phenomenal now ya inoue is the undisputed super bantamweight champion holding all four major
13:29titles wba bubc ibf and wbo in 2025 he had an impressive year fighting four times and winning
13:37every bout while retaining his undisputed status earlier in the year he defeated yejun kim by knockout
13:43followed by a victory over ramon cardenas by tko he then overcame murojon akmadalia by unanimous
13:49decision and recently dominated alan picasso securing another decisive win these victories
13:54highlight in a way's speed power and technical skill allowing him to remain at the top of the
13:59division and end the year as one of boxing's elite pound-for-pound fighters so now in a way
14:04dominates alan picasso wins every single round and he defends his undisputed super bantamweight title
14:09four times in 2025 and this is just a very sharp clinic from inouye you know using that jab really
14:15well to maintain distance set up his combinations he's landing that thudding left to the body doing
14:20some really good body work he's landing right hooks up top three four punch combinations and picasso
14:25he didn't really have much of an answer you know occasionally he'd land a jab with the straight
14:29right hand but for the most part inouye's just running through him and inouye has a great argument
14:33to end the year as the new pound-for-pound number one you know now that crawford retired it's either
14:38him or usik but usik is no longer undisputed only had one fight this year whereas inouye had four
14:43undisputed fights and he's steamrolling the competition and with this win and nakatani
14:48also winning it seems like we're gonna get naoya inouye versus junta nakatani next may 3rd in the
14:52tokyo dome you know this fight has already agreed and inouye said the japanese fans can expect a big
14:57spectacle and nakatani he didn't have the best performance today you know got pushed to a big test
15:02whereas anyway he looked very dominant so i think it's safe to say that inouye will probably win the fight at
15:06this point but still this will be the biggest fight in japanese boxing history user diego tweets
15:11on x stating top class performance by naoya inouye and much respect to alan picasso for holding up
15:17for 12 rounds he highlights inouye's skill speed and relentless pressure that made him dominate the
15:23fight at the same time diego acknowledges picasso's resilience and determination to last all 12 rounds
15:29despite facing such a formidable opponent the tweet captures both inouye's excellence and picasso's
15:35courage showing appreciation for a competitive and entertaining boxing contest the fight between
15:40naoya inouye and alan picasso showcased inouye's explosive power and speed against picasso's height
15:47and defensive style in the early rounds picasso performed well earning a couple of the first six
15:52rounds with smart calculated moves he used his taller frame and high guard occasionally crouching to reduce
15:58inouye's target area as the fight progressed inouye's skill and class became clear he landed sharp jabs
16:04precise left hooks to the body and a powerful right hand around picasso's guard despite picasso's
16:10resilience and tactical adjustments he couldn't match inouye's speed accuracy or strength inouye
16:16controlled the pace dictated the exchanges and gradually wore down his opponent by the final bell
16:21inouye's dominance and elite boxing ability ensured a decisive victory leaving no doubt about
16:27his superior technique and power i was shooting on this fight because it wasn't a competitive fight
16:31and i knew that you know picasso is not on that level picasso is just does not uh have the punching
16:36power to really trouble in the way and on top of that picasso you know what was a lot what was kind
16:41of crazy about picasso was like early on in the fight he started out pretty good i gave him a couple i
16:45am like two rounds early in the fight like i gave him two i gave him two of the first six rounds but
16:49as the fight wore on he fought more like a paul butler type of fight very uh gun gun gun shy
16:58calculated in the high guard just didn't give inouye a lot to work with and you know uh inouye will in
17:04a lot of jabs inouye will in a lot of left hooks to the body but inouye had a very hard right hand
17:08around the guard he he him and his team look like the game planned against that right hand it kind of
17:14kind of like you know what if you're gonna knock us out or beat us tonight you're not gonna knock us out
17:18with that punch like like like you've done to anyone else and there were times where picasso
17:22being the significantly taller guy at five foot eight would be crouching down and getting lower
17:26than inouye making himself a smaller target so he he was doing some good things here and there but
17:30overall class tells over time in a way he was just too quick too fast too sharp too good but he just
17:36couldn't get the stoppage so um that being said um a lot of people are gonna hold it against in a way
17:42because he's held to such a high standard and i get it you know with great power comes great responsibility but
17:46i'm impressed man i'm i'm very impressed with inouye just when even though that's even though
17:52i've given him some flack for you know fighting some guys i just don't think on his level this year
17:58um you know to fight four times in the calendar year you know and defend the undisputed title four
18:04times in the calendar year that's unprecedented and he's the first fighter since larry holmes to to
18:10successfully defend the ring belt four times in the calendar year this is the first time it's happened
18:14since 1983 so he saw history and he outclassed a young while many praise naoya inouye's explosiveness
18:22and power especially for his weight class some analysts point out potential limits as he moves up
18:27inouye dominates lighter opponents with sharp combinations and relentless body shots as seen
18:33against alan picasso however against bigger fighters who can absorb his punches his power may not translate as
18:39effectively at higher weights like 130 pounds inouye could struggle with stronger punches and face
18:45challenges in sustaining his usual dominance his athleticism and skill are unquestioned but questions
18:51remain about how his style and power will adapt against larger harder hitting opponents in the future
18:56by the power for them low weight classes but when he gets in there with guys that can absorb his punch
19:04like picasso was absorbing his punches he was hitting them in the body combinations teeing off on him
19:11inouye is
19:17athletic he's explosive
19:18but his power translates to those little guys as he moves up in weight going to 130 not happening
19:30if he goes up to 130 pounds
19:34he's gonna lose he can't deal with those punches he can't do first of all we've seen him on the canvas multiple times
19:43second of all his power is not going to translate to the with those guys they're going to absorb his punches
19:50uh now what he does have going for him is his hand speed
19:55he's still got that hand speed and maybe that hand speed will translate
20:00maybe it'll slow him down
20:03but it just showed me that he's going to always be a great fighter for those low weight class
20:07he's a super bantamweight champion
20:10but 130 pounds
20:14nah
20:15and he might have trouble with nakatani
20:19he nakatani is going to absorb his punches but of nakatani is going to be
20:24a way better puncher than david picasso was tonight
20:28and um yeah i think anyway could be in trouble with him i still think that he's just
20:33so fast so uh um explosive
20:40so quick and has a high ring iq that he still uh beats nakatani but it's gonna be a tough fight
20:51it's gonna be a tough fight that's it for today's video stay tuned until next time
