00:00and still as fast as lightning yeah look the power that he possesses but it's not
00:05a thumping power it's that explosive speed and that that explosive power the
00:10full work he gets in position and all of a sudden he's landed three four five
00:13shots and then he's angled off a lot like I did in my fight against Lopez
00:16yeah it's a competition here like it's a very strong guy
00:22a big crowd doesn't he's an absolute superstar in world boxing and this was
00:27another exquisite performance Joe Rogan called him a legend Mike Tyson called
00:33him a monster even Yusuke smiled when his name was mentioned but what Naoya Inoue
00:39did to Alan Picasso shocked the entire boxing world and the numbers tell a
00:44story you won't believe Joe Rogan reacted live to Naoya Inoue versus Alan Picasso
00:49and instantly called Inoue a true legend of boxing
00:53Rogan was amazed by how fast Inoue's footwork is and how smoothly he moves in
00:58and out of range he pointed out that Inoue's power is
01:02unreal for this weight class and said it is something you rarely ever see
01:06according to Rogan Inoue perfectly mixes speed
01:10accuracy and strength making him one of the most complete fighters in the sport
01:14today and I was also excited he's a legend of the sport he is a legend and
01:19he's a he's such an unusual guy you know what's crazy about him is his calves
01:23yeah when you look at that when Alexander Yusuke was asked about Naoya Inoue's
01:27performance against Alan Picasso his reaction showed real respect Yusuke paused
01:33for a moment smiled and then praised Inoue's speed and calm presence inside the ring
01:38he clearly said I like Na and explained how quickly Inoue moves and reacts to everything
01:45Yusuke also mentioned that even though Inoue fights in lighter divisions his power is very real
01:51he said Inoue's balance speed and strength make him dangerous at all times
01:57showing how elite fighters instantly recognize greatness
02:00here the unified heavyweight champion of the world Alexander Yusuke
02:04Alexander you're watching another pound-for-pound fight in Inoue
02:07have you been impressed with his performance so far?
02:09yeah I like I like this show
02:12Nagatani fight great with Mexican guy Inoue
02:15I hate him
02:17what do you think Inoue needs to do to get the stoppage?
02:22I don't think about this I just watch fight maybe Inoue
02:25next fight going up maybe I don't know
02:29I think it's normal because you know Inoue have very fast yeah it's a complete session
02:36the boxing world exploded with reactions after Naoya Inoue's dominant performance against Alan Picasso
02:43social media was full of highlights breakdowns and praise for Inoue's aggressive yet controlled fighting
02:51style boxing analyst Henry broke the fight down tactically and noted that Picasso came in with
02:57high guard to protect his chin however his elbows were pushed too far forward leaving his body open
03:04in no way immediately took advantage of this weakness his fast lead hand and sharp timing allowed him to
03:11land powerful body shots while staying unpredictable the difference in power was obvious as in always
03:18his punches had real impact while Picasso's shots did not Henry explained that in always mix of
03:24offense and defense kept him in full control from start to finish
03:27when men get into the ring the first thing that I noticed straight away was Picasso was carrying an
03:32incredibly high guard defensively keeping his gloves very very high trying to protect his chin and one
03:38thing I'll say in general about Picasso in this fight is that his defensive awareness was very very
03:43impressive he very rarely dropped his hands after he threw a shot his discipline was incredibly good but the
03:49problem with that is that sometimes it leaves a lack of room for creativity with fighters yes it's important to be defensively
03:55be disciplined but if you continue to give the same look over and over again you're never ever going to beat a guy like
04:00Inoue the first thing I said at the beginning of my live about this guy was I looked at him and I went his elbows are
04:06incredibly flared you know he had the high guard but his elbows was very very far forwards which instantly made me think he's
04:11giving the body to Inoue he's offering it to him now that can sometimes be done because it's to create
04:15counter-punching opportunities but in this instance I think it was just that he was so
04:19concerned about protecting his head about not getting knocked out with a shot to the head
04:22that the body was there all night for Inoue and Inoue took it he took the invitation and he constantly
04:26stabbed to the body of Picasso and in fact I'd say that this fight kind of was a story of the body
04:31shots in many ways Picasso like Inoue had most of his success to the body the left hook in particular
04:37was a money shot for Picasso but the difference between these two men was so obvious to see when
04:42they were standing in the pocket and they were exchanging left hooks in particular to the body
04:46the impact of Inoue shots was totally different from Picasso's it was like Picasso had cushions
04:52pillows inside his gloves and Inoue had a bloody egg weight it was damaging it was vicious and Picasso
04:59simply couldn't hang in the pocket for long periods of time with Inoue I mentioned the lead hand of Inoue
05:03there to the body but the lead hand of Inoue in general in this fight was incredible to see I mean
05:08the sharpness the speed on it the different levels that he throws it from it's unbelievably unpredictable
05:13and difficult to read as a shot and it allows him to control fights one thing that I've noticed about
05:18Inoue having watched him for a little while now and something I think he definitely does on purpose is
05:22he lowers himself to the level of what's in front of him at times because he wants you to open up so
05:26he can counter you and land large shots on you ones that you don't see coming so that he can knock you
05:31out he's good enough to be able to do that and keep himself safe at the same time what was testament to
05:35this was Inoue's movement is exquisite it's exceptional there were moments when he was using that jab that I just
05:40mentioned dancing around the ring using that lateral movement popping the head of Picasso regularly
05:46easily landing on him with that jab I mean Picasso was forced to keep a high guard at all times because
05:51the power of Inoue is so good that even when he's in motion he will hurt you but the testament to this
05:56idea that Inoue will lower himself to what's in front of him is that there was moments where
06:00Mike Tyson also shared his thoughts on Naoya Inoue and showed massive respect Tyson called Inoue a monster
06:07and said he is faster stronger and more precise than many champions he has watched over the years
06:13he even claimed that Inoue is better than Manny Pacquiao was in his prime
06:18Tyson highlighted Inoue's power footwork and ring intelligence as unmatched in his division
06:24praise like this from a legend proves how special Inoue truly is
06:29this young fighter called the monk sir did we have monster no Japanese fighter called monk crazy crazy dude that means I love it
06:40oh yeah let's see the spare mouth
06:42don't look like my he's better than Manny Pacquiao and then Pacquiao was doing like that just as good
06:48he looks like a pop star oh wait till he get on these the most efficient hunting machine in all that boxing
06:55he's vicious that's a bad guy he'd be too broke him down 118 yeah who the hell fights in that
07:03yeah but who some bad yeah Paulie Malignaggi gave his opinion on what could be next for Naoya Inoue
07:12after the Alan Picasso fight he said Inoue's dominance was clear and future opponents like
07:19Nakatani would need to respect his power even more Malignaggi pointed out that Inoue went the full
07:2512 rounds with Picasso showing incredible stamina and consistency he also noticed that Inoue may have
07:32been holding back his right hand slightly possibly due to a small issue though nothing was confirmed
07:38even so Inoue stayed in control and won the fight clearly Malignaggi explained that Inoue's speed
07:46power and ring IQ make him a very difficult challenge for anyone that I was picking Nakatani or Inoue yet I
07:53really hadn't really made up my mind who would win between them I thought it was a good fight and
07:56I don't think it's an easy fight to pick but I do think that um that I I do think that it's a
08:03completely different style you're gonna see Inoue fight with Nakatani than than you did uh Hernandez
08:07today you know I thought um I thought um uh Nakatani did a a solid solid job of again getting off those
08:17those good punches hard punches it was he couldn't get the respect and and that and that's something
08:22that will lead you to think something's going into the Inoue fight but remember Inoue does get hurt
08:27Inoue has been down at this weight class so you know you land those hard shots clean hard shots like
08:32that on Inoue I think he's gonna he's gonna have to respect that power of Nakatani more so than
08:37Hernandez did today now Inoue took on David Picasso and uh and uh another surprising result in that
08:44this one also went the distance can you imagine Nakatani and Inoue both going the distance was
08:49would have been crazy crazy odds if you're a gambler but uh Inoue won the fight going away um
08:55it's I don't know you didn't get asked the question in the post fight interview but to me it seemed like
09:00Inoue right hand may have been bothering him again just assuming here because we didn't get any
09:04confirmation we didn't it's not like the post fight interview where the broadcast ever actually
09:08brought out something that was obvious which was that Inoue was uh was actually not throwing his
09:12right hand many many times when he could have uh was going left hand heavy um even when he had
09:18Picasso up against the ropes a lot of times he did he didn't throw didn't throw the right hand or
09:22barely throw right hand so I'm not quite sure that you know just my assumption but I'm not quite sure
09:28that anyway he had not at least hurt or tweaked his hand his right hand in this fight and that might
09:33be why David Picasso was able to go the distance but also Picasso did some crafty clever things uh made
09:39himself a moving target even when he was standing still a lot of up and down rotational movement um
09:44hip and up and down change of level movement uh when he was stuck up against the ropes and he was
09:50when he was in front of Inoue so Inoue couldn't get hit get to him too clean when he got stuck
09:53against ropes also made himself a small target by staying low uh he would change the look by change
09:58level by going up and then back down um just things that you know weren't giving Inoue any threat to lose
10:05the fight but they were making and giving Inoue problems as far as tracking him down and and getting
10:09to him uh cleanly uh Inoue was going to the body very very well I thought Picasso took some really
10:14tremendous body shots and and you gotta credit him the ring magazine posted on x that Naoya Inoue had
10:20doubled Alan Picasso in punches landed after six rounds according to CompuBox this stat showed just how
10:27dominant Inoue was during the fight the numbers proved that Inoue controlled the action with pressure
10:33accuracy and high volume while Picasso struggled to keep up analyst Liam Goff also praised Inoue calling
10:41him one of the most dangerous fighters in the world today he noted that Inoue has now gone back to back
10:4712 round fights for the first time in his career proving his stamina at the highest level Goff also
10:53praised the event in Saudi Arabia mentioning the unique atmosphere and traditional music saying it felt
10:59fresh and different from typical boxing shows back to back 12 rounds as in 12 round decisions apparently
11:06that's never and judging by how formidable he is offensively and how good he is you know it's easy
11:11to see why if that is in fact the case um this fight right here Alan Picasso came in confident and you
11:21could see it in his approach to the ring Inoue stoic and I did like it was different you know the way
11:28like when you know when you're going to the the minute rest and they normally just play whatever
11:34whatever whatever they were playing like kind of samurai music like Japanese and I quite liked it it was
11:39quite nice actually and you listen to that you're thinking actually I'd rather listen to this than listen
11:42to you know some of the crap that they play you know on most shows in the UK and US during the one
11:49minute rests I quite enjoyed it the whole show as a whole I enjoyed it I liked setting it was it was
11:55actually very I really I really enjoyed it actually I have to say I really did it's a really good show
12:00more then please I really like the Asian kind of team in Saudi Arabia but this fight itself right so
12:04first round starts Inoue Inoue tends to he he can be a quick starter at times and we've seen that we
12:13certainly have in first rounds and stuff like that you know but not a crazy amount of first round
12:19stoppages if I think off the top of my head he stopped I can't remember the guy's name um in a
12:24round I remember that that was in the World Boxing Super Series a couple of years ago many years ago
12:28now but he's not really one for going out there and just blasting you out and around he might hurt
12:32he might drop you in the first round but he normally carries you at least into well normally into like
12:37the second or third round at least and he was not really doing much in the first round Inoue in a way
12:41but straight off the bat you could see that Picasso he did the high guard and kept the high guard
12:47he tried to punch with Inoue which is something that you can actually do it's very risky because
12:54Inoue will also punch with you and Inoue's hand speed foot speed. Naoya Inoue is now the undisputed
13:00super bantamweight champion holding all four major titles WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO. In 2025 he had an
13:11incredible year fighting four times and winning every fight while staying undisputed. He knocked
13:17out Ye Joon Kim, stopped Ramon Cardenas by TKO, defeated Mirajan Akhmadaleev by unanimous decision
13:24and then dominated Alan Picasso. These wins clearly show Inoue's speed, power and technical skill.
13:33He ends the year as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in boxing and continues to prove why he is at
13:38the top of the sport. Inoue dominates Alan Picasso, wins every single round and he defends his undisputed
13:44super bantamweight title four times in 2025 and this is just a very sharp clinic from Inoue. You know
13:50using that jab really well to maintain distance, set up his combinations. He's landing that thudding
13:55left hook to the body, doing some really good body work. He's landing right hooks up top, three four punch
14:00combinations and Picasso he didn't really have much of an answer. You know occasionally he'd land a jab
14:05with a straight right hand but for the most part Inoue is just running through him. And Inoue has a
14:09great argument to end the year as the new pound-for-pound number one. You know now that Crawford
14:13retired it's either him or Usyk but Usyk is no longer undisputed. He only had one fight this year
14:18whereas Inoue he had four undisputed fights and he's steamrolling the competition. And with this win
14:23and Nakatani also winning it seems like we're gonna get Naoya Inoue versus Junto Nakatani next. May third in the
14:29Tokyo Dome. You know this fight has already agreed and Inoue said the Japanese fans can expect a big
14:33spectacle. And Nakatani he didn't have the best performance today. You know got pushed to a big
14:37test. Whereas Inoue he looked very dominant. So I think it's safe to say that Inoue will probably win
14:42the fight at this point. But still this will be the big
