00:00Let's take a look at the night matchup.
00:02Oregon laid a huge number, Coach.
00:04They built a huge first-half lead.
00:07They hung on.
00:08They allowed a touchdown with a minute left
00:10that allowed the Dukes to cover the double-digit number.
00:14They win it by 17.
00:16Dante Moore and that offense put up numbers,
00:19but James Madison did put up 500 total yards of offense.
00:23They didn't turn the football over once.
00:25Are you concerned about Oregon's defense entering their Week 2 matchup
00:30against Texas Tech?
00:33No, I'm only concerned about the quality of their third-teamers
00:36because they did something.
00:37Their coaches and their players lost interest in this football game.
00:42I mean, they were up 34 points, I think, at that point,
00:44and they took out all their starters.
00:46You've got to remember, this is playoffs.
00:48They don't want to play anybody and get them hurt.
00:50They not only took out their starters,
00:51they took out their rotation starters,
00:53and they're down to those guys that they're trying to reward.
00:56And lost interest.
00:57You had to see them lose interest in this football game.
01:00And once you get momentum switched, it tends to be a problem.
01:03So the only people that lost that game were the people that are Oregon fans
01:07that bet they would cover, and they didn't, but they didn't.
01:11But you know what?
01:12It's all about playoffs.
01:13This was the regular season, and you needed to win big or convincingly.
01:17That would be one thing.
01:18But right now, you've seen people in the NFL not play people early
01:21so that they won't get hurt before they get to the playoffs.
01:23So that's the only thing that I saw.
01:25Those coaches, they should have chewed those backups out on the sideline
01:29and said, get your act together.
01:30You ain't going in next time.
01:32But I don't think they ever feared for their win.
01:34I don't think they ever worried about their players that were playing
01:37because it was a dominant, dominant performance,
01:39and the score was a real disappointment to their head coach
01:43because of how they let it happen.
01:45Dante Moore had a dynamic performance coach.
01:49He completes 19 of 27 passes, 313 yards, four touchdowns.
01:55He's looked at as a difference maker.
01:58What did you see out of his performance moving forward?
02:01Could his ability potentially be a problem for Texas Tech's defense
02:06in round number two?
02:08Oh, he's a problem for anybody.
02:10What a great dual-threat quarterback he is.
02:11He can throw, he's a smooth runner, and he understands what he's doing out there.
02:17He is a difference maker.
02:19Now, he threw a couple of picks, got to eliminate that.
02:22But, again, the score was one of those things in this game.
02:25As a quarterback, even, you can relax and not pay a lot of attention
02:28when you start getting way ahead.
02:30But he threw four touchdown passes, ran when he had to.
02:33I don't think he had a lot of running yards
02:34because he didn't have to have a lot of running yards.
02:36The receivers were so wide open.
02:38But, yes, he is one of the top five in the country at the quarterback position.
02:42He keeps them in the – it would be a great game against Texas Tech.
02:45I know that much.
