Seven thousand jobs, three new fishing ports, THA contracts to move from three years to five years and micro loans of up to a million were just some of the election goodies announced, as the PNM Tobago unveiled their Manifesto,  Big, Bold, Red, Vision for Tobago,  A BIG DEAL towards the January 12th election.   The launch took place on Sunday afternoon at the Magdalena Grand. More in this Elizabeth Williams report.

00:007,000 jobs is not just a number, but as I said before, it's a transformative opportunity

00:08for Tobago and Tobago-Nyans through the creation of these 7,000 jobs.

00:16When we create these jobs, families will thrive.

00:22The Chief Secretary recently encouraged people to make more babies.

00:30I have three, and I actually want more, but babies are expensive.

00:44Mr. Dennis said extreme late payment to service providers would be cut in half.

00:51And the guarantee that we are giving, and we believe it can be done, is 30 days.

00:57Within 30 days, we are going to build out a system to pay our suppliers, to pay our service providers.

01:06We will ensure we get it done.

01:10500 jobs for the blue-green economy, people who work 10 days to be made permanent,

01:17and a skyline from the Scarborough Port to Fort King George was also announced.

01:21$1 million to start a business is small money.

01:29So we are committed to empowering entrepreneurs by providing substantial financial support.

01:36Microloans of up to $1 million will be made available to help small businesses, medium businesses as well,

01:44to start and grow, ensuring that money is not a barrier to innovation and success.

01:51The TPP will be unveiling their manifesto on New Year's Day.
