00:00A mail service with a twist.
00:05Local disability enterprise Bindi partnering with Australia Post to collect, sort and deliver
00:11to one of 18 small communities in Alice Springs known as Town Camps.
00:20Teresa Johnston is one of the organisation's supported employees.
00:24I feel satisfaction that I delivered the mail to the town.
00:36Then at the end of the day, yeah, it's good, really good, yeah.
00:42Town camps are small Aboriginal communities in and around towns in the NT.
00:46Two days a week the team pick up mail from the post office and take it to Bindi before delivery.
00:51They've got to sort it into the town camps, then into the streets and then into the numbers on the street.
00:56And it takes a team, it takes a little while to get through all of that.
01:00And they're definitely busier this week.
01:03Decided, yeah, that Christmas time is coming.
01:09An inclusive mail service posting joy to all.
