You can never have enough melting potatoes recipes in your back pocket. In this video, Chloe shows you how to make melting sweet potatoes with maple chile crisp, a riff on fondant potatoes with a spicy-sweet flavor twist and topped with a garnish of candied pecans. It’s your normal melting potatoes recipe, but maple syrup and chile crisp are added into the broth, imparting all that flavor into the roasted sweet potatoes.

00:07until they become almost like a custard inside.
00:09Kind of marvelous how creamy and delicate they become

00:15This recipe is particularly special
00:17because of the spicy, sweet flavor combo.
00:19It's one of my favorite pairings.

00:23and the chili crisp that goes on top

00:26It's really balanced,
00:27but it also just lights up all your taste buds.
