An 18-year-old driver has been arrested for allegedly crashing a multipurpose vehicle (MPV) into a man before dragging a woman and reversing into a drain.

00:00An 18-year-old driver was arrested for allegedly ramming a multipurpose vehicle into a man,
00:07dragging a woman and reversing into a drain in Taman Johor Jaya on Wednesday evening.
00:13Seri Alam Deputy OCPD Superintendent G. Victor said during the incident,
00:18a motorcycle obstructed the MPV's path, leading to a dispute and physical altercation.
00:24He said the MPV driver then rammed the motorcyclist, injuring him and damaging his motorcycle,
00:31while the pillion rider, the motorcyclist's wife, sustained minor injuries after being dragged.
00:37He said the motorcyclist was admitted to hospital Sultan Ismail with minor injuries and head bleeding
00:42and he is said to be in stable condition.
00:45Police arrested an 18-year-old local man at about 9.40pm on Thursday.
00:49The suspect with no criminal record and a negative drug test has been remanded for seven days
00:55as police investigate the case for reckless driving, false reporting and other related offences.
