Chris Harrison Attempts To Define 'Wahboom,' & Reveals Which Guy 'Rubs People The Wrong Way'
Transcript
00:00The men were just revealed today. What were your initial thoughts on them upon meeting them?
00:04Good group. Overall, I felt like it was a really good group.
00:08And obviously people are going to talk about the diversity, but for me the diversity went into
00:12she's a little older. She's professional.
00:16She's kind of set in her life and knows what she wants. I need men
00:20that are ready to settle down. Sincere.
00:24Doctors, CEOs, accomplished men, educated, well-spoken.
00:28All these things that are going to fit for Rachel. I can't have a
00:3221-year-old beer-chugging frat boy come in because that's not Rachel.
00:36That's not who she is. The show and the cast really takes on the feel and the vibe
00:40of who The Bachelorette is. The guys, they've got to step it up if they
00:44expect to be with her. In the past we've had a few villains, Chad, Corinne.
00:48Who can we expect to stand out in that way this season?
00:52I don't know villain-wise, but Lucas, the Waboom guy.
00:56Definitely going to be that guy that I think people are going to love or hate or love to hate.
01:00Not really sure. We'll see how that shakes out. Lee.
01:04Kind of smooth southern gentleman. Maybe you won't see this coming, but
01:08he's definitely somebody that kind of rubs people the wrong way.
01:12It's not what he says sometimes, it's how he says it.
01:16I know that's a put down. I can tell you're being rude to me.
01:20Speaking of Waboom, what is a Waboom?
01:22That's a good question because it's a lot of things.
01:26It can be a noun.
01:28It can be a verb. It can be an adjective.
01:30It's a lifestyle, but you can also Waboom.
01:34It is a verb.
01:36It's a lot, but you'll see it and hear it.
01:38It's Lucas's essence.
01:40It's who he is.
01:42Thank you so much. We look forward to this season.
