For the first time on the franchise, the final three women were awkwardly living together during the week of their overnight dates with star Peter Weber.

00:00There are things that we do as producers that will force you into this uncomfortable zone
00:06and force you into making a decision.
00:08Awkward and totally uncomfortable are two words that definitely describe Fantasy Suites
00:12week every season of ABC's The Bachelor. On last night's episode, each of the final
00:16three women had the opportunity for their first overnight date with Bachelor Peter Weber.
00:21But for the current cycle of The Bachelor, producers decided to switch things up and
00:25for the first time on either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, have all three finalists
00:29live together while they took turns going on their overnight dates in Australia.
00:33This move stunned fans of the franchise as the women are usually sequestered from the rest
00:37of the finalists and are unaware of how the other relationships are playing out at this point.
00:42But during The Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, host Chris Harrison revealed that the producers
00:46had to step in to create a quote, uncomfortable zone because one of Peter's finalists, Madison,
00:52wasn't being completely honest with him.
00:53This situation was pretty extraordinary because Peter had kicked the can down the road, but
00:58this time also Madison had.
01:00And so this was to force a situation that had to happen and it had to happen this week.
01:05Because if we get to proposal week, then this guy is really screwed and there's no chance
01:10this works.
01:11Peter has been criticized over his indecisiveness throughout his Bachelor season, but Madison
01:16had not fully opened up to the star about her faith and her relationship expectations
01:20until the overnight dates.
01:22Though viewers had been clued in that Madison was saving herself for marriage, she waited until
01:26Monday's episode to tell that to Peter.
01:28She also told him that if he had been intimate with any of the other women, she wouldn't
01:32be able to continue in their relationship.
01:34You wouldn't be able to keep this going with me if I spent the night with anyone else.
01:39For me, like actions speak louder than words.
01:42After Peter told her he had already been intimate with at least one of the other two women, the
01:46episode ended with Madison walking away, possibly for good, leaving him in tears.
01:51When speaking on the podcast, Harrison said that the producers didn't want Peter to find
01:55that information out next week while getting ready to propose.
01:59So they forced Madison's hand by having the other women confront her.
02:02She gave him the ultimatum.
02:04And I'm sorry, that's disgusting.
02:08Next week we'll see how things play out at the rose ceremony, plus the infamous Women
02:12Tell All episode.
02:14And if this season so far is any indication, it is sure to be full of tons of drama.
