03:58Cave City has always been a tourist town full of roadside attractions.
04:02And it's home to Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest known cave system in the world.
04:08Almost 500 miles of cave discovered right here in the hills of Kentucky.
04:14But not just Mammoth Cave, the smaller family owned ones too.
04:18All of this has an economic ripple effect to this little town, Cave City, Kentucky.
04:24So where are you guys from originally?

10:18We get a lot of families here, a lot of children,
10:20and I'm just hoping when they get older, they say, I remember that.
10:24Maybe they'll bring their kids down here.
10:25I remember parents taking me out on trips, seeing the biggest ball of twine or whatever,
10:30and biggest Coke bottle and all that.
10:33And, you know, those all went by the wayside.
10:35He is the perfect curator for this property because he hasn't forgotten what's interesting to a child.
10:41He's still a big kid at heart.
10:43We've seen this cave about a half a dozen different times before he bought it some 20, 30 years ago.

10:49So it's, you know, amazing that we're able to get it.
10:52We have just about every type of formation you could want to see here at Crystal Honest Cave.
10:56And it's up close.
10:57You're not standing 50 foot away, looking through plexiglass.

11:03We spent about eight years refurbishing the cave.
11:05I did the work that it deserved.
11:08This cave belongs to everybody.
11:09We want to protect the cave for the future generations.

11:51And ever since then, rat fink has been one of the most recognized mascots of custom car culture.

11:59The old guys and, you know, we're trying to teach the young guys about it.
