Trump Hanukkah Reception: Members of London’s Jewish community used a Hanukkah celebration to show unity and resilience following a deadly attack in Sydney that has shaken Jewish communities worldwide.

Participants gathered to light candles, pray and reflect, turning the religious celebration into a moment of solidarity and support. Organisers said the event was intended to honour Hanukkah’s themes of perseverance and light, while also standing together against fear and violence.

The gathering comes amid heightened concern over security at Jewish events globally, with community leaders emphasising the importance of togetherness and mutual support during times of uncertainty.
