00:16tear gas, and according to preliminary reports, around 15 citizens have been arrested so far.
00:23In this context, President Xiomara Castro reaffirmed that the demonstration
00:26is a democratic right of free peoples and defended the peaceful protest.
00:31The president also ordered the cessation of repression, the investigation,
00:36and the dismissal of those involved in actions against the peaceful demonstration
00:41that demanded electoral transparency.
