00:16scenarios that have shown incredible resilience that made it possible to smile again and I can
00:21also say this after the twin earthquake to smile even amid its difficulties as it has been shown once
00:31more following their recent earthquakes. In these years the work of the United Nations has focused
00:38among all to a company, a company with respect, unity and unity, listening and building together.
00:47We did not come with solutions that were already prepared, we came to connect and add to the

01:02decision-making. Along this time we've seen something I consider fundamental. International
01:10cooperation does not substitute national strengths, it complements them. Sustainable development is
01:17only possible when there are local solutions, when the solutions are born from within, when all sectors,
01:24institutions, civil society, private sector find spaces to contribute and cooperate. I want to thank
01:34the government, national authorities and local authorities, all political actors for the dialogue and space that you've provided to our
01:45national and international partners, the organization of civil solidarity, human rights organizations, businesses for their commitment and constant collaboration and
01:58above all, you know it because most of my years here I spent in the
02:03the communities. So I want to thank communities for their trust, the trust that they have received us and allowed
02:11us to do our work and even more I could see the strength of communities in these days, the capacity
02:19in these temporary camps, the capacity of self-managing, the way they organize. We offer the services of water and
02:29sanitary and they organize to clean it.
02:32They coordinate with private companies to clean it. They coordinate with private companies to be able to ensure benefits for
02:37all. The strength of community is incredible and I think it explains, it says a lot how a country can
02:45go forward despite everything.
02:49A work guided by clear principles, searching at all time solutions that were of interest for all. Because the strength,
03:05the greatest strength of this country, of this country is the humanity of this country, the strength of its people
03:10and its peaceful spirit.
03:20I live with you and I live directly with you moments of extreme joy but also of disdain, frustration and
03:31pain, especially on the occasion of the Twin Earthways of June 24th.
03:37And still we've never lost hope. We've never stopped believing in the possibility of moving forward, of rebuilding, nor lost
03:46the strength to continue working together in the search for solutions always.
03:50I've always tried to reflect that. Not only challenges but above all the real potential that exists in this country.
03:59A potential that is in every community that is organized, in every young person that dreams, in every person that
04:10leads with dignity.
04:19You have remembered that multilateralism is important, that dialogue is impossible, is possible, and it is necessary. Despite the complexest
04:31times, there's always spaces to build with inclusion and mutual respect.
04:36I close this cycle with gratitude. And many of you have told me concern for the fact that I'm leaving
04:48right now. There's never a good time to leave.
04:54And there's never a good time to leave Venezuela because, to tell you the truth, I will stay here forever.
05:05I leave behind a team that is fully committed, capable, and solid. I am going to start working from tomorrow
05:13in the plan for the reconstruction of the country.
05:16To all of you, and mainly to the Venezuelan people, for opening their doors and allow us to walk by
