00:00In Honduras, Electoral Counselor Karen Rodriguez reported inconsistencies in nearly one million votes
00:06and demanded a manual recount to prevent the annulment of the general elections.
00:11The Deputy Counselor of the National Electoral Council spoke out on social media
00:14denouncing inconsistencies in the records transmitted by the preliminary results system,
00:19which would affect almost one million votes.
00:22The official stated that three other council members also expressed their dissatisfaction
00:26with the company contracted to manage the system, ASD.
00:30In light of this situation, the Counselor formally requested that the plenarization of the organization
00:34reject the electronic count and conduct a special count of all the fiscal records
00:38to avoid the nullity of the process and prevent a political and social crisis in the country.
