00:00But we didn't do any Sunday night football.
00:02Dallas and Minnesota.
00:03The Cowboys season pretty much ended.
00:05The Eagles just have to win their next game against the Commanders.
00:07Listen, I understand that's easier said than done.
00:09But, you know, the thing is Dallas will still have to win out.
00:13I just, I think Dallas has shown that with a great offense,
00:20hey, we could beat anybody.
00:22But also, we're an incredibly vulnerable team.
00:25And I don't think Dak was all that great in that game yesterday.
00:28I understand he threw for a ton of yards.
00:30I don't think he was all that great.
00:32And this is a group who's going to have to really, you know,
00:36rearrange a couple of things in the offseason.
00:37I don't think Matt Eberflus is likely to be brought back
00:40on the defensive side of the ball.
00:41And I just, I don't know.
00:44I don't know where you were at going into that game.
00:46But for me, to see them lose, I actually wasn't all that surprised.
00:50No, I wasn't either.
00:51I mean, I thought if J.J. McCarthy was competent, right,
00:55like he was the previous game against the Commanders,
00:59they would be in the game.
01:00Right now, they didn't still feed Justin Jefferson,
01:04but we saw Jalen Naylor with two big plays.
01:06We saw, you know, Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason run the football enough.
01:10And again, when you get pressure on Dak Prescott, you could sack him, right?
01:15He's not as mobile as he was earlier in his career.
01:17And the defense is a sieve in the back end.
01:20I mean, there's multiple teams that abused this team over the top this year.
01:23You know, it wasn't just J.J. McCarthy.
01:26So, yeah, here's the thing about Dallas.
01:30I never thought that this was an elite football team.
01:33I thought this was a middle-of-the-road football team
01:36that made some nice moves.
01:38I did believe, and maybe I was in the minority,
01:42that Jerry Jones did the right thing with the Micah Parsons situation.
01:46If he's checked out, I'm not going to give him money,
01:48obviously, if he doesn't want to play in Dallas.
01:51And again, we'll see if those moves that they made
01:55with Quinn and Williams and some of the others will pay off long-term.
01:58But I think they got the most out of this team.
02:03Like, he took it right down to the end.
02:05If I would have told you, which I didn't believe,
02:10hey, Dallas' playoff hopes would be alive entering week 15,
02:15would you have bought in?
02:17If you would have said before, first-year head coach,
02:23major question marks, defense not good.
02:27Yeah, I think my problem is nothing about their season is,
02:30in its totality, surprising.
02:32No, it's not.
02:33Offense has big games.
02:34Defense is bad.
02:35They lose big games.
02:37Like, they just...
02:38You have a mismatch, but you have a 500-football team,
02:41and that's what I thought they were.
02:42Yeah, I think that that's fair.
02:44Look, I do think what you are seeing, though, is J.J. McCarthy guarantee
02:47he's the Viking starter next year,
02:49and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
02:51For him, personally, I think that's a great thing,
02:53but I don't know for Minnesota.
02:54I don't know.
02:55It's a huge risk.
02:57I'll just say that.
02:58But I don't think they have a choice.
02:59No, they don't.
02:59But again, if he's going to start to light up now Washington and Dallas...
03:03It's his fourth game, Joe.
03:06He plays Detroit.
03:08They stink.
03:09Yeah, so that's...
03:10Joe, it's his fourth game with three total touchdowns.
03:12No, I know.
03:13He's played eight games.
03:14No, I know.
03:15But it's Jordan Addison.
03:15In his other games, though, he's atrocious.
03:17My point is, and I know Addison had yards,
03:21but ask Addison and Justin Jefferson
03:23if they won McCarthy as a quarterback next year.
03:25I know.
