00:00I'm going to be fascinated with what we get now with Harbaugh in this division, in the
00:06NFC East, Dak Prescott and company having a career year.
00:12He dominates teams in his division.
00:15That's what he does, Tom.
00:16His numbers have been 37 and 10 straight up, 32 and 15 against the number versus the NFC
00:23East.
00:24And yet he can never seem to beat Philadelphia or win the big game in the postseason or get
00:29them where they need to be.
00:30But if he had nothing to do but play NFC East teams, Dak would be in the Hall of Fame
00:35already
00:36apparently because he's absolutely unbelievable.
00:40They're going to, that entire offense is back.
00:42Is it not, Tom, for the most part?
00:45The offense looks great.
00:47The Cowboys are going to score points.
00:49That's just a fact.
00:51Assuming things go well and everyone stays healthy, they're going to score a lot of points.
00:55CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens is a great combo.
00:57You know, Ferguson at tight end is great.
00:59Williams in the backfield, like they have some legit offensive pieces that are going
01:03to do well for them.
01:04They made a ton of improvements on the defense.
01:07They brought a ton of players in, in the offseason.
01:10How that all meshed together and does it take some time to get rolling?
01:13That's a different story.
01:14But to see them still be an over-leaning team or team total over-leaning team, I think we
01:20can almost write that in pen.
01:23Yeah, I, uh, I agree with you.
01:26I think that's absolutely going to be a good to go, but don't forget.
01:29I mean, Harbaugh has been pretty good in, uh, in opening games too, in his career, right?
01:3512 and six against the number in the opening game.
01:37So you are going to have some battling trends here heading into this one simply because Dak
01:44has dominated.
01:46And I mean, dominated teams in the NFC East and Jackson dot was actually pretty good last
01:53year.
01:54Uh, and I didn't know this, but the giants were a very high scoring team early in games
01:59fell apart late, but maybe some early overs in this one here, because this is a spot where
02:06I could see maybe the offenses having a leg up on the defenses early on.
02:11Mm-hmm that's certainly a good, a good look that the thing that I would truly want to
02:16know, and this is just wishful thinking is really what's the status of Malik neighbors,
02:22because that's the thing that I think is going to be holding the giants.
02:26Because there's, it's trending in the right direction.
02:28Is he going to play?
02:30Is it going to be a snap count, you know, et cetera, et cetera.
02:33Y'all didn't play in the preseason, those sorts of things.
02:34So if we get a few more notes on the giants, that's, what's really going to push me to
02:39them scoring because outside of him, the wide receiver depth for the giants is a little
02:44thin and leaning on the run game is great, but you want to lean on the run game to open
02:48up the passing game, to have these big plays downfield.
02:51So the giants could be held back a little bit on an offense until neighbors is truly at
02:55a hundred percent, which he should theoretically be getting healthier as the season goes on.
03:01As this for a trend for you, Brian Schottenheimer, I don't know how many people actually correlate
03:06him to scoring a lot of points, but in his head coaching career, 16 and one to the first
03:15half over, this is a guy that can game plan 16 and one to the first half over as a
03:21head
03:21coach since 2025.
03:23That tells me this guy game plans that the scripted portion of the game, he knows what he's doing.
03:30It's the second half he has problems with, but early on expecting some points here in this
03:36one with the giants and the Cowboys.
