00:48If you ever wanted a Warhammer game that doesn't take itself too seriously, then you owe it to yourself to play Shooter's Blood and Teeth.
00:56You are a mighty orc, sent out to unleash unmitigated daka onto the filthy humies.
01:04That is, until your superior betrays you by stealing your precious nifty hat.
01:10There's only one answer to this.
01:12Turn on your fellow orcs and kill every last one of them.
01:16It may be your simple shooter platformer, but the absurd silliness on display and heavy metal soundtrack makes this one of the best Warhammer spinoffs on the market.
01:26No joke.
01:27We're kind of wanting a sequel.
01:28Give us a Shooter's Blood and Teeth 2.
01:30Space Hulk Ascension
01:32Are you a fan of the classic Space Hulk board game?
01:44As fun as it is, it's not always easy finding another friend to play with.
01:48That's where the Space Hulk video game comes in, and of them all, Ascension is the best of the bunch.
01:55While it does retain some aspects of the board game, it manages to take some creative liberties to break away from the board game's strict rules and make tweaks to make the video game version just as fun.
02:06It's an adaptation in spirit, but a video game first and foremost.
02:10And really, that's kind of the best way to approach a game as deep, complex, and rich in story as Space Hulk.
02:17Warhammer 40k Mechanicus
02:20Indeed, Warhammer has a good handful of strategy and tactical RPGs to dive into.
02:25However, if you want a tactics game that is a bit more complex, then Mechanicus is the way to go.
02:31In this game, you command an army of the Adeptus Mechanicus as they venture across various landmarks, fending off Xenos and other potential threats.
02:41Mechanicus incorporates an almost chess-like format in that you have to use Tech Priests to gather resources.
02:48Your other units that cost those resources are considered pawns with more limited movement and attacks.
02:54The balance between using your Tech Priests and your fodder is a bit delicate, but emerging out of an expedition successfully is immensely rewarding.
03:03Warhammer 40k Bolt Gun
03:06The boomer shooter subgenre did not seem like a territory Warhammer would ever step into, but developer Aurok Digital found a way to make it work and work well.
03:29Bolt Gun takes the old-school feel of boomer shooters and combines them with modern sensibilities and AI development to create a somewhat difficult campaign.
03:38With your trusty Bolt Gun and a few grenades and special abilities, you'll take on hordes of enemies across a variety of different locations.
03:46Every shot feels great, every new enemy forces a new tactic, and every area is a new challenge in traversal and target priority.
03:55This is truly a gem that both Warhammer and FPS fans need to dive into.
04:01You can guarantee we're going to be there day one when Bolt Gun 2 drops.
04:05Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate Demon Hunters
04:09While tactical games were super niche when the original Chaos Gate launched in 1998, it has evolved substantially over the years, and Chaos Gate Demon Hunters evolved with it.
04:29This sequel kept the core gameplay of assembling and improving troops while addressing the flaws of other tactics games.
04:36Yeah, you know the nonsense we're talking about.
04:39The nonsense that's, oh, you have this 52% chance to land a shot on this enemy who is literally two spaces away from you and is standing out in the open.
04:48Yeah, no.
04:49You don't need to worry about any of that in Chaos Gate Demon Hunters.
04:53If they're out in the open, or if they're exposed a fair amount, the game's gonna tell you whether your shot's gonna land or not before you even confirm your action.
05:01There's even a creative mechanic in dismembering enemies that results in them being debuffed until death.
05:07All of that, coupled with the level design and immersive approach to its story, is what makes Chaos Gate Demon Hunters among the best modern tactics games.
05:16The Dominus has restored the star map to its full function.
05:23We are receiving a barrage of scanning data and astropathic scrapings from across the sector.
05:30Warhammer 40k, Dawn of War 2.
05:33It can be really intimidating at first to play a real-time strategy game, but Dawn of War 2 is sure to provide a ton of fun for both casual and hardcore fans.
05:57While you have your typical controls and mechanics that you would expect from other RTS games, Dawn of War 2 leans heavily into the war part of its title by sending in legions of enemies in every combat encounter.
06:10Really, the number of enemies this game sends at you can get absurd.
06:14You'll have to understand each class's strengths and weaknesses and how to take full advantage of your positioning, even if you find your options to be somewhat limited.
06:23But this level of chaos and strategic depth reaches a level of quality that few RTS games manage to live up to.
06:30Warhammer 40k, Rogue Trader
06:33In the mood for a good CRPG, Rogue Trader is the best Warhammer CRPG you can play, hands down.
06:48Regardless of the top-down perspective, Rogue Trader does an incredible job at immersing the player into the world with its environments, voice acting, and music.
06:58But one of the coolest aspects of the game is how friendly it is to newer Warhammer fans.
07:03If you're ever confused by a highlighted term being used, you can hover over the word and get a short description on what the term in question means.
07:11In other words, you have an easy to use and accessible index to help you get more familiar with the world of Warhammer.
07:18Warhammer 40k, Vermintide 2
07:23Very few games give as much replay value and co-op fun as Vermintide 2.
07:36Here, you and three other players take on missions where you must fight against hordes of Skavin and, sometimes, legions of the Chaos Army.
07:45In addition to earning unique weapons and gear, Vermintide 2's main fun factor is in figuring out all of the different character classes, how they work, and finding ways to make the squad even more vicious against the ratmen.
07:57But the best part about this whole game? No microtransactions, which was rather unheard of in the online multiplayer space at the time of Vermintide 2's launch.
08:12Total War Warhammer 3
08:15You think too small for one so powerful.
08:19We would be remiss to not include this spin-off of the Total War games in the ultimate sequel to the Total War Warhammer series.
08:35While the first two games were equally excellent in their own ways, Total War Warhammer 3 quickly established itself to be the best so far.
08:43Not only was the tutorial more streamlined for newer players, the game had managed to deliver a more satisfying endgame than its predecessor and packed in plenty of different game modes to truly test our wits.
08:55Even after all of the hullabaloo around some of the absurd pricing of DLC, any RTS fan ought to play Warhammer 3 regardless of their knowledge of the IP.
09:05And lastly, Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2
09:10Perhaps it's the noticeable absence of Horde-focused third-person shooters, but Space Marine 2 is among the sickest games in the shooter genre.
09:30And it may possibly be the best Warhammer game ever made.
09:34This game just makes you feel like a total powerhouse between the visceral melee attacks and the different weapons you can wield.
09:41But the most incredible moments are when you and your friends see an absurdly massive horde charging at you, and you all somehow make it out alive.
09:50Those moments, along with the smooth controls and fun mechanics, make Space Marine 2 feel like a real, immersive adventure.
09:58If you haven't already, you need to go and play this for yourself.
10:01I don't care if you're super into Warhammer, I don't care if you're not at all into Warhammer, you need to go play this for yourself.
10:08It's amazing.
