00:00okay so on this ion explore extreme see here we have the battery level shuts
00:19right off we'll have to change the battery so we'll turn it around here I'll
00:29lay it down Philips Philips screwdriver
00:37yeah one two three four bottom screws
01:04three on the side
01:15right side
01:29two on the top here
01:50yeah I think we'll need to do those
02:03I'm not sure about these here let's see if we can get it off just with the side screws there's four here one set
02:28so we'll take the four out and remember the two screws here are bigger they go on the top the top too
02:45and take the top remove the back cover
02:56there's the battery
03:01let's see how to get that
03:08then you have this sticky
03:16little cushion here that you peel off
03:21set that aside
03:24and what I did was pried around the sides
03:31now I'm not sure if this was the first battery
03:35and why I had to pry around it I used just a straight small screwdriver
03:42little bit on each side
03:45and I had to pry up and I had to pry up but see what I did with that
03:50so I would think
03:53yeah that was in there too tight
04:01where if I turn the unit
04:03around
04:06would it fall out
04:09I don't think so
04:10I don't think so
04:11because it was in there pretty tight
04:12as you can see
04:14just putting it in
04:15you have to wiggle it out
04:20but there you go
04:24the positive and negative
04:26those are just clips
04:29so you pull down
04:30pull those off
04:31it's pretty hard to do that too
04:44might need a pair of pliers
04:47one sec
04:53you can see the
04:55negative there
04:59easiest way here
05:03is to put the
05:05flat part of the screwdriver
05:08right against
05:10and pry it off that way
05:14I don't even know if these are new clips or not
05:20or
05:21if they should go back in the holes
05:27there seems to be a gap there
05:36so the wire could either be pushed down into there
05:44that space
05:46or
05:50I'm not sure
05:53what the chance is to
05:55get them down in those holes
05:57we shall see
06:03put the
06:04I don't have a new spare right now
06:07but
06:07this one is labeled
06:10set of PL712
06:17so I'm going to try to put the same one back in
06:21until I get another one
06:23got the red square there
06:27yeah this battery was replaced before
06:34so I'm not sure if the terminals were on the
06:39bottom or the top
06:43so I just pushed it back in
06:48and we'll put this thing back on
06:53and the last thing I took off was the
07:05I believe it
07:08did not have to be taken off
07:11was the
07:12rack
07:12I'll put that back on first
07:29and the cover
07:54with the
08:06two bigger screws
08:08on the top
08:09and the two strips following that
08:27let me tighten some of these down
08:33and I would try out the power switch
08:36before you put all those screws back
08:39just in case
08:40one of the wires slipped off
08:42and if you don't have one
09:11your next purchase should be a
09:13battery operated
09:16screwdriver
09:19so many screws
