Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey says that the Government's "worrying" Budget taxes drove today's "disappointing" figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), which shows the economy shrank by 0.1% to the three months up to October.

00:20propose a cut in VAT of 5% but also changing economic policy getting our
00:25economy growing again so we can end the cost of living crisis that's why
00:28Liberal Democrats have said let's have a new trade deal with the EU we've lost
00:32billions of pounds because of the Conservatives failed Brexit let's have a
00:36new customs union with the EU and that's the way to start helping people with
00:41their bills
