Some citizens support the hike to boost the economy and reduce deficits, while others argue it unfairly burdens ordinary people. 00:00I think there's a limit so some benefits are obviously needed but there comes a point where
00:23you're overtaxing people who work and giving too much to people who don't so no I don't agree with
00:28it I think some people need help you know it's not always a it's not always a fair start that
00:44people get and yes basically I think it's down to government that can allocate wealth or finance
00:55in a way that can help people that need it yes I yeah I would say that that's fair that I know I
01:01understand I will have to pay more tax but I think particularly the lifting of the two child cap to
01:06lift so many children out of poverty is really important and I'm willing to contribute to make
01:12that happen I would say I feel probably about the same I think it's been a difficult economic time
01:25and obviously there's a lot going on in the world so I wouldn't say I feel richer but I don't feel
01:29worse off either I think again it's about giving labour time and space to do what they need to
01:35do which you know they've got a big job to do so seeing the state of the country now no no no not
01:45at all I think the what they're doing right now is it's gonna take time for us to like heal and get
01:53through the next coming years the damage have done they've done good but a lot of damage especially to
02:00young people and such like that so
