Russian strikes cut power and water in Odesa as infrastructure attacks continue

00:00Russia attacked the port city of Odessa in the south of Ukraine overnight into Friday,
00:06damaging civilian infrastructure and leaving parts of the city without power and water.
00:12The head of the Odessa military administration, Sergei Lissak, said that residential buildings
00:16were damaged as a result of, quote, yet another hostile attack.
00:21Kiev accuses Moscow of intensifying its attacks against Ukraine's critical infrastructure
00:26with the arrival of the cold winter months in repeat of its war strategies in previous years.
00:32Many Ukrainian cities are experiencing extended power cuts,
00:36with some areas only having electricity for three to four hours a day.
00:41Meanwhile, Russian media outlets say one of Russia's largest oil refineries
00:45was hit on Friday in a Ukrainian drone attack.
00:49The Slavneftianos oil refinery in the western region of Yaroslav,
00:53one of the top five refineries in the country, sustained damage in the strike.
