He was in heaven digging out each toy ❤️ Slugger's foster mom, Patti, told us how much he loved "collecting" toys in his bed, so we decided we had to send him a giant gift basket to see how he'd react to toys!

00:00We think that he was dumped, left there, and just waited.

00:05The baseball field was flooded, and he was just drenched, just seeing the pain in his eyes and

00:11the lifelessness, like he'd almost given up. His temperament was super sweet, so he had definitely

00:18been handled by humans before. He was full of ticks of all sizes.

00:30I fostered him for the first week or so. First, he was like a little sloth who would crawl

00:35up and be really timid.

00:36Hey, what are you doing, Slugger?

00:38And then he found his personality. I called him the collector. He would start taking all

00:43the toys and put them on his bed. And then when he transitioned to his other foster shoes,

00:48it became his obsession.

00:49Look, we got a gift from the dodo to congratulate you on your adoption. This is for Slugger.

01:04He was so excited. He entered the room and was in heaven. He went right in there, started
