00:00I woke up in the morning and I'm like, what the heck was this?
00:03It was white. I thought it was a coyote.
00:08We're up on a mountain. It's very private up here.
00:12We have ring cameras around the house and then we have trail cameras.
00:17He was bone thin and super malnourished.
00:21Put it on the Facebook community page.
00:23A lot of people said, this is a dog that's been missing since the end of February.
00:27I learned that this dog was on the run and just ran from people.
00:34This just raised my anxiety. I couldn't sleep at night.
00:37I'm like, oh my God, this poor dog.
00:40Eventually, I worked with the authorities to set up a trap.
00:44I noticed that he was not going into the trap at all.
00:52My heart is made to be eaten in the morning.
00:54I've never seen this ever.
00:57Okay, here we are.
00:59We're just sitting here.
01:00We're in the glass of the room.
01:02We're in the water.
01:03We just put a ton of treats out.
01:05We threw them all in front of him.
01:07We started getting comfortable with our voices.
01:09We would open the window and sometimes I would just sit in the back deck
01:12and we would just wait for him.
01:14Annie's got his back to us.
01:16Babe, that's a sign of trust.
01:18Yeah, that's huge.
01:19He's chewing on tree bark.
01:21We've got to get him some toys.
01:24Look at Mama's got it.
01:25He was starting to stay closer to the house.
01:35The cats were actually getting exposure to this dog on a daily basis.
01:38I thought it was entertaining for them.
