00:00I would say please listen to the Health Secretary. He has heard resident doctors
00:05when they said that jobs are a problem. He and the NHS leadership have worked
00:10really hard to find new training opportunities because the previous
00:14government increased the number of training of medical school places but
00:19not the training places that you need. So we're going to address that as doctors
00:22have asked us to. We're also finding ways to put more money into doctors' pockets
00:27through dealing with some of the fees. The problem is that the BMA leadership have
00:33chosen not to respond well to this proposal. We all want these strikes to
00:38end so I would just ask doctors to engage with the proposals put forward by the
00:42Health Secretary.
