00:00These are the five best teams of football as we speak.
00:03Number five, the Denver Broncos.
00:06I'm cool with that.
00:07I'm cool with that.
00:08I mean, they beat everybody, but they're not impressive.
00:12They are not impressive.
00:14Everybody they beat, they beat on a last-second field goal.
00:17But the Denver Broncos are still right there at 11-2
00:22with the best record, Todd, we're doing it, of course, in the AFC.
00:26Ten straight wins.
00:27And they are either the one seed or the two seed.
00:30Coming into the playoffs, the Denver Broncos are number five.
00:32Number four, going to go to the NFC.
00:35They're not perfect yet, but they show glimpses of being a problem.
00:40And they're in first place, the Green Bay Packers.
00:43Yeah, there's a lot to build on.
00:45I do question Love in the big moments, his consistency.
00:48You can see he might be the best thrower currently in the NFL at times,
00:51but he's not consistent.
00:539-3-1, obviously, they just took care of business against Chicago.
00:56Great game, by the way.
00:57Chicago drops down to 9-4, so a half game out.
01:00But the Green Bay Packers right now are the fourth-best team in football,
01:05and they've got that division lead for the moment.
01:07Number three, only one you can argue with me,
01:10and I don't think you're going to argue with me this week,
01:12the third-best team in all of football right now are the Houston Texans.
01:17See, I can't really argue.
01:19Houston just knocked Kansas City out.
01:21Right.
01:21And also, on this show.
01:23They're 8-5.
01:24We'll never find the tape.
01:25I predicted them to make the playoffs when they were 0-3.
01:27Nobody remembers that.
01:28Nobody remembers that.
01:29It's on the program.
01:30Nobody remembers that.
01:32After Ethan made fun of it.
01:33The Texans right now are the seventh seed,
01:35and they would play the Patriots if it ended today.
01:38So, the Texans have the best defense in the AFC.
01:41Stroud's coming back, obviously.
01:43They don't run the ball great.
01:44Their offensive line isn't great.
01:46But, man, that defense takes over games.
01:48I think the Texans right now are the team to beat in the AFC.
01:52Wow.
01:53The number two team, the L.A. Rams.
01:56L.A. Rams right now, seeding-wise, are the number one seed in the NFC.
02:01So, I went chalk on this one.
02:03Nothing bad you could say about the Rams.
02:05They do everything well,
02:07and they're going to be a problem for everybody in the postseason
02:10because they've got all the elements of a championship team.
02:13The coach, the quarterback, the running game, the wide receivers.
02:16They've got it all.
02:18Which means there's a different team atop the Power Five this week.
02:22All right.
02:22And, again, this changes every Wednesday.
02:24It's all based on performances that we've seen.
02:26The number one team right now, and they get no love.
02:31They get no respect.
02:33They're the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.
02:36But the best team right now, they're not the one seed.
02:40They're not the two seed.
02:41They're not the three seed.
02:42They're not the four seed.
02:44But they are the 10-3 Seattle Seahawks.
02:49And the only reason they're not the one seed is because they lose the tiebreaker to the Rams.
02:55They've got the same record as the best team in the NFC.
03:00They are both 10-3, but they lose the tiebreaker to the Rams.
03:04The Seahawks, they're getting great defense.
03:08They run the ball.
03:09They've got the wide receiver of the year this year in Jagman Smith and the Jigba.
03:13They've got Darnold playing his ass off.
03:16They're well coached.
03:17They are a problem for everyone, and they are my week 14 number one team atop the Power Five.
03:25That's interesting.
03:26They have, just to add on real fast with them, they have the Colts.
03:29And then on a short week, it's Rams-Seahawks in the rematch for the one seed, what, 10 days,
03:35eight days from now?
03:36And they end the season with the Niners.
03:38And depending on what the Rams, Seahawks, and San Fran does, that game can be for three spots
03:44in the NFC postseason.
03:46Absolutely, it could be.
03:47And the number one seed overall.
03:48So I can't argue with this.
03:49This is a good list this week.
03:51I felt pretty good about it.
03:53The Texans are going to the Super Bowl, folks.
03:55Let's not sleep on that.
03:57I'll tell you another team not to sleep on.
03:59If Miami beats Pittsburgh, the Dolphins might go to the playoffs this year.
