00:00songwriting, and much, much more. And they need your help in honoring our nation's defenders. So
00:05go to campforheroes.org. Let's do texts. Alex from Panama City Beach, Florida. Your
00:15Espanol is getting muy bueno. You on point. Este noche. Este noche. I was so close.
00:23John from Boulder City, Nevada. You and Maduro have the same hair.
00:27Have you considered growing a mustache? Yeah, I'm growing a mustache. That would look really cool
00:34on TV. Geraldo. Nick from Smithtown, New York. Do real men agree to dual bachelor-bachelorette parties?
00:44I'm not down with that. But if Sidney Sweeney's there, I'm just kidding. DVR the show. Sean's
00:54next. I'm Waters. This is my work.
00:57Welcome to Hannity. And tonight we are live. We are in New York City, where in just a few minutes,
01:07we're going to sit down with Erica Kirk for an exclusive preview of her late husband's final
01:12book, Stop in the Name of God. Why honoring the Sabbath will, in fact, transform your life.
01:18Also, tonight, Jasmine Crockett wants a promotion. The Democratic Party's rising star has officially
01:25announced her bid for U.S. Senate with the great state of Texas and with the help of President Donald
01:31J. Trump. Take a look. Crockett. Oh, man. Oh, man. She's a very low IQ person.
01:40Somebody said the other day she's one of the leaders of the party. I said, you got to be kidding.
01:44I don't know how that helps her. Anyway, a few states away, California Governor Gavin Newsom was
01:51on fire. Literally. Take a look. They're in the hills with these guys. And we all turned around
01:57when my hair literally burst on. There's a video of it. And they threw me in the car. The guy hits
02:02my hair and throws me in the car. He says, get the f*** out of here. Now, fortunately, Newsom was able to
02:09save his hair from the blaze. Too bad there was no water available to save people's homes. Now,
02:15most everyone in the Pacific Palisades, as we all know, lost absolutely everything. They're still
02:21unable to rebuild a year later because of California's insane bureaucracy. Their regulations.
02:27We'll have a lot more on that straight ahead. We do begin tonight right here in New York City with
02:32their incoming communist mayor, Marxist mayor, after promising to work with President Trump to apprehend
02:38criminal illegal immigrants. Well, Zoran Kami, Marxist mom, Domi, is now teaching illegals how to stand
02:46up to ICE. There is a 1,200 percent threat level increase against ICE agents. Maybe the rhetoric has
02:55something to do with it. Take a look. We can all stand up to ICE if you know your rights. If you
03:01encounter ICE, these are the things that every New Yorker should know. First, ICE cannot enter into
03:06private spaces like your home, school, or a private area of your workplace without a judicial warrant
03:11signed by a judge. That looks like this. Sometimes ICE will show you paperwork that looks like this
03:16and tell you that they have the right to arrest you. That is false. ICE is legally allowed to lie to you,
03:25but you have the right to remain silent. If you're being detained, you may always ask,
03:29am I free to go, repeatedly, until they answer you. And another far-left politician is now taking it a
03:35step further. Take a look. The message that we are sending to our Somali community, to our Latino
03:41community, to any community that is being targeted, is that we stand with you. Minneapolis is not backing
03:48down. Our police officers will not coordinate with any federal agency that is doing immigration law
03:55enforcement work. We stand with the community members that make Minneapolis the extraordinary
04:01place that it is, and we aren't backing down. We're rock solid in support of them.
04:05Now, that was the Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye on national TV bragging about doing anything he can do
04:11to keep criminal illegal aliens on the streets. And by the way, as we head into a midterm election year,
04:16I hope every American remembers the big lie. The border's closed, the border's secure,
04:22and all the hard work that Democrats are putting into protecting even those criminal illegals,
04:28allowing them to run free in your town, in your city. And meanwhile, in the deep blue state of
04:33Illinois, nearly 1,800 criminal illegals have been released this year, as state officials ignore ICE
04:40detainers, even for violent felons. This includes individuals linked to homicide,
04:46assault, home invasions, even sex predators, have been released onto the streets, which is pure
04:53insanity. And of course, thanks to Joe Biden, there are millions of all of these unvetted,
04:59illegal immigrants, many with criminal records. Well, they're living all across the country.
05:04And with the election safely in the rearview mirror, the New York Times is now finally reporting
05:09that Biden's own advisers warned him that his border policies would create chaos and a lot of
05:16suffering. But Joe's inner circle just didn't seem to care, as Biden himself clearly oblivious to
05:22everything happening around him. So let's be clear. The consequences here are not theoretical.
05:29For example, this weekend, a criminal illegal immigrant who was previously deported multiple
05:35times stabbed a person on the very same Charlotte, North Carolina rail system where that young
05:42Ukrainian refugee was murdered on video by a career criminal. That was just a short time ago. And
05:48yet, for some reason, elected Democrats continue to allow violent criminal illegal immigrants back
05:54out onto your streets, putting all of you and your families at risk. Meanwhile, President Trump's DHS,
06:01well, they have a holiday message for those criminals. Ho, ho, ho, you're going home.
06:07Here with more. This is DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Madam Secretary, when politicians are saying the
06:16things that these people are saying, okay, in my mind, they're putting ICE agents' lives in jeopardy.
06:23Tom Homan says a 1,200 percent increase in threats against them. I'm asking you, is there any crime that
06:30the politicians are themselves breaking? Any laws they're breaking?
06:37You know, Sean, we're certainly going after and looking into all of that with coordination of
06:42Department of Justice. But the mayor, if he were mayor, could be violating the Constitution by giving
06:48advice on how to evade law enforcement and how to get away with breaking the law. It's really
06:53unbelievable in this country what we're seeing. Those ICE agents that you were referencing,
06:57the violent attacks that have increased against them to 1,200 percent, death threats against them
07:02are at 8,000 percent. And I want to remind everybody, these ICE agents live in these communities.
07:07That's their homes. They have their families there. They're working to keep their own kids safe so that
07:13they can go to school. They can go to church and go to work every single day. So they're there doing
07:18God's work to protect this country and enforce the law. And these politicians, if they don't like the law,
07:23then go frickin change it. Go change the law. That's your job is to actually have debate,
07:29have discernment, to create a law that actually puts America first. I'm just grateful the president
07:34is focused on that. I'm grateful of that too. Okay. So when you talk about a 1,200 percent increase in
07:42threats against ICE agents, I certainly understand why. Do you not tie that directly to the insightful
07:49dehumanizing rhetoric that the left is using day in and day out? I don't care if it's a punditry
07:55class. I don't care if it's elected officials. They're all using it. You know, it gets as bad
08:00as Gestapo, Nazi, fascist, and even worse in some cases. Are they directly responsible for what's
08:07happening? Absolutely they are. That rhetoric absolutely encourages these violent attacks. In fact,
08:14we had a congresswoman attack our ICE law enforcement officers. We've had them show up at ICE facilities
08:21and CBP facilities and harass these enforcement officers, use vile language, spit on them.
08:27So yes, it absolutely does. They're supposed to be leaders. They're supposed to be examples that we
08:32can point to. And we wouldn't raise our children to do the things that they do. We would be ashamed
08:37of our kids for acting the way that these grown adults act that are supposed to be some of the
08:43best in the country that lead us and protect our constitution and our country's freedoms.
08:49Yeah. Well, I continue to praise all those guys, all the agents. You've been out with all of them,
08:55and they're doing a phenomenal job. They put their lives on the line, and they certainly deserve better
09:00than being doxxed or threatened or told they can't protect their identity, especially in this
09:05environment. Secretary Noem, thank you. We appreciate your time. All right. Naturally,
09:10any attempt to secure the border, enforce our laws, that is met with hysteria from the Democratic Party.
09:16For example, Congresswoman Omar just compared Stephen Miller, who is Jewish, to a Nazi. Take a look.
09:24What do you make of this argument of failure to assimilate and sort of ruining America?
09:30How do you understand this? I mean, when I think about Stephen Miller
09:35and his white supremacist rhetoric, it reminds me, yes, it reminds me of the way the Nazis described
09:43Jewish people in Germany. Now, keep in mind, this is coming from Congresswoman Omar,
09:50who, according to her, knows exactly what our founding fathers wanted. Okay, let's get a history lesson.
09:58We are seeing our First Amendment rights being eroded. We are seeing, you know, militarization
10:09forming in our cities. And we're certainly seeing the powers of Congress being challenged by the administration.
10:22And so it is scary times when we think about what is at stake for democracy, what is at stake for
10:28the balance of power. And this is certainly not what the founding fathers of the American dream
10:36were thinking about when they said, you know, that when they set out to write the Constitution.
10:45All right. Here to respond, Stephen Miller's wife, the host of the hit Katie Miller podcast. Katie Miller's with us.
10:51So she's saying the First Amendment rights are eroding as she's calling your husband a Nazi.
10:58Maybe you can help me out with that one. Every time Ilhan Omer speaks, we are all reminded how the
11:04Somali refugee experiment in our country has failed, whether that's scamming Americans out of $1 billion
11:10or sending $1.7 billion annually in remittances to Somalia, or the fact that 37 percent of Somalians in
11:18Minnesota can't speak English, Sean. These aren't people who want to assimilate or love our country.
11:24And as a reminder, they're free to go home. When Ilhan Omer uses that rhetoric of saying white
11:29nationalist and Nazi, what she's trying to do is incite violence and incite someone to murder my
11:35husband in all sincerity. That's what people are trying to do. It's no, it's no better than someone
11:42taking a gun and trying to shoot President Trump and Butler. They're trying to use that language
11:46because they're incapable of loving our country and they're incapable of stopping the radical change
11:51that's coming, which is secure borders and safe streets. Because under President Trump's watch,
11:56we'll never see again, which was Afghan terrorism in our streets of Washington, D.C.
12:01And Ilhan Omar is partly to blame for that, using that type of rhetoric.
12:05We're living in an assassination culture. In just a moment, right here on the set,
12:10we'll talk to Erica Kirk. We know what happened to our friend Charlie Kirk. And meanwhile, you've
12:16had direct threats against you and your family. You have young children at home. Stephen has had
12:21them. People have even vandalized your home. In many ways, they're trying to chase you out of your
12:28home. They've doxed your home. I would imagine in this environment, that's not a good place
12:34mentally to have to live all the time. No, of course not. But what I would say is that President
12:41Trump each and every day is fighting to make our country more safe and more secure. He's stopping
12:46the fraud that we're seeing from the hands of Somalians in Minnesota, right? He predicted this
12:52in 2020, Sean, if you go back. He said that if President Biden were elected, we would see Somalians
12:57trying to bilk our government and our Americans out of their money. And that's exactly what's happened
13:02here. And they're just trying to come after us and incite violence and trying to do the same
13:07thing that they did to Charlie Kirk, because they know at the end of the day, President Trump is
13:12successful. They know that my husband is working every day to complete the agenda that President
13:16Trump promised the American people that he would do, which is deport every illegal alien. And I can
13:22tell you, Sean, I'm firmly behind President Trump and my husband and Tom Homan in those efforts to
13:27deport every illegal alien. And that includes, most importantly, Somalians.
13:30There are known terrorists in the country. There are known murderers, known rapists,
13:34other violent criminals. There are cartel members. There are gang members. There are drug dealers.
13:40It's inexplicable to me. Can you explain why the Democratic Party as a whole has embraced the
13:47notion that we're going to help the illegals at the risk of American citizens?
13:52There's no such thing anymore of being soft on crime. The Democrats are pro-crime. They are pro,
13:58which what you see in Charlotte, right, whether that's after Arena's murder or then you see
14:02another stabbing on the Chicago light rail by someone who was deported three previous times,
14:06who has then re-entered our country illegally. These are the people that the Democrat mayor of
14:11Chicago and the Democrat governor of North Carolina are happy to, again, have in our cities.
14:17Why is that? At a certain point, when you see major urban cities, whether that be Seattle,
14:21Chicago, New York, continue to fall and continue to not be safe to walk the streets anymore,
14:27it's no longer conspiracy. It's what they're trying to do is just bring crime all over our
14:32country and put illegal aliens above American citizens.
14:35We need to find the people making the direct threats because there are crimes on the books
14:40right now where they can be arrested. And you and your family should not have to live in fear.
14:45You should not live under the threat of violence as you have been. Katie, thank you. Appreciate your
14:51time. As we speak, a historic level of fraud and taxpayer theft is now being uncovered. Guess what?
14:58In Congresswoman Omar's Minnesota, we're told the amount stolen could be in the billions.
15:05The administrator for the Centers for Medicare, Medicaid, Dr. Mehmet Oz, is on now,
15:09and he has been tracking that fraud and he's here to explain it. All right, Dr. Oz,
15:13you know more about this than anybody. We know fraudsters in Minnesota over a billion dollars.
15:21I'll give you one example. If you look at the autism program in Minnesota, 2018, we spent three
15:29million dollars. Now, 2023, the last year we have numbers for $400 million. Okay, and how much of that
15:38is going into the Somali community? Has that been institutionalized?
15:44They've weaponized fraud and corruption. Talking with the CMS team that I'm blessed to work with,
15:51they say they've never seen anything like this as an abject dereliction of duty. And I think what
15:55happened, just becoming clearer now, is that the Walls administration knew there was a problem.
16:01Whistleblowers were saying, this money's being stolen. You gave a great number with autism. I can
16:05regale you with a bunch more. But nobody wanted to rock the boat because it turns out Somalians
16:11overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. They felt it would look bad for them to go after these people
16:17that they knew were guilty. And it was the Somalian community, in fact, that finally came forward and
16:22said, enough is enough. And we see people buying luxury cars, shipping money back to our home country,
16:28maybe even to terrorist organizations. And it was with that urging, we finally found out what was
16:33happening. But here's the deal. President Trump's not going to tolerate this. Understandably,
16:37no American should want their tax dollars being siphoned off to Somalians living in Minnesota,
16:41who then ship it over to Africa or other places where it can be used for purposes that it was not
16:46designed. They're taking away the benefits that our most vulnerable desperately need when they steal
16:52from autistic children or from homeless people, people with substance use disorder. So we made a very
16:58clear line in the sand. By the end of this month, we need some type of a written plan from Governor
17:04Walsh's team. Every week we want audits. We're demanding this. And by the end of January, if they
17:10have not cleaned up this disaster, this mess, then Governor Walsh should start looking for loose change
17:15under his couch because we are going to shut down funding of these programs, the 14 additional programs
17:20besides the one for transportation that we already, rather for housing, that we already shut down.
17:25Well, 2.6 million, what was originally proposed, now it's over 100 million?
17:30For that one program. But you add them all. And Sean, here's the thing. These programs were designed
17:35for the sickest of the sick, people who are vulnerable. Imagine what happens if you're a child
17:40on the autism spectrum, mom and dad are barely keeping things together, and all of a sudden,
17:44every other kid on the block and every kid in the Somalian community has autism. And all of a sudden,
17:50you've got these massive increases in expenditures. You can't get access to care. And now,
17:55we've got to come in and clean it up. What happens? These kids get hurt. The same for homeless people
17:59desperately need housing short term when they get out of a hospital. What about getting transported
18:04to a clinic to get your dialysis? All that's going to go away, Sean, because the Somalian community
18:08figured out a way of hacking the system. And then when they weaponized it, nobody was watching.
18:14And Sean, this is the part that gets me animated. It's not just in Minnesota. It's the worst that's
18:18ever been in Minnesota. But you go to Los Angeles, you've got these mafia, ethnic mafia groups that
18:24are able to hack into our hospice systems. They're destroying home health care. There are five times
18:30more durable medical equipment suppliers in Florida than there are McDonald's. We think the Cuban
18:36government's involved there. We broke up a $15 billion multinational criminal organization based
18:42out of Russia. But again, if they get the money, it doesn't matter. We have to stop the money from
18:48leaving the building. And that's what President Trump wants us to do by working across agencies
18:52to shut down these scandalous efforts.
18:55And Walls was warned by whistleblowers, and he didn't want to pay attention. He didn't want to
18:59alienate a big voting bloc. Dr. Oz, great job. And keep us updated. That's a lot of taxpayer money
19:06that's being stolen from our kids and grandkids and people in real need. Dr. Oz, thank you.
19:13All right, coming up, just weeks before his assassination, Charlie Kirk finished writing
19:17what would be his final book. It is now out in bookstores all around the country.
19:23His wife, his spouse, the love of his life, Erica Kirk, will join us right here in studio.
19:27That's coming up next, straight ahead.
19:28Charlie Kirk's final book that he finished only one month before his assassination. It
19:38is now out in bookstores around the country. Stop in the name of God, why honoring the Sabbath
19:44will transform your life. By the way, you can get it. You go to 45books.com, you can get
19:49a copy. It's also in bookstores around the country. Now, the book takes on the machine that
19:56we kind of look at it as modern life, this, you know, all day. You ever see somebody at
20:00a dinner table? They're like, everyone's looking at their own phone, right, Erica? We'll get
20:04to, we'll talk about that. It's a never ending distraction for everybody, which, you know,
20:10it's, which we all seem to be addicted to. This book is encouraging all of us one day a week
20:17to turn this off, to turn off electronics, learn to be present with our significant others,
20:23with our loved ones, with our children, and truly rest one day a week. God created the
20:29world in six days. He rested on the seventh. And to do that in the name of God and honor
20:35the Sabbath. Erica Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA, joins us now for this interview.
20:41It's so good to see you. I got to spend time with you earlier today.
20:44I loved it.
20:44You're stuck with me twice.
20:46We're stuck. Our whole team is all stuck together.
20:49Oh, yeah. We got Mikey taking, you know, a million videos over there. Before we talk
20:54about the book, which is really, I think, can transform people's lives.
20:59Absolutely.
21:00How are you doing? How are the kids?
21:03Doing the best you could expect. God is good. And we're, we have the most amazing
21:09Turning Point USA family. They've rallied around myself, my children, and, you know,
21:16chosen families, everything. And then, of course, we're blessed with our, our family itself. But
21:20people like you, Ainsley, it's, it's priceless. It's priceless.
21:25You know, you go through this period and you have, they have the shock of something like this
21:30happened. You know, we, we all try to relate to people. I don't know if you have really could
21:34relate to this. And then all of a sudden there are moments where you just like the reality hits
21:41you. He's not coming home. Right. The permanency, I, I will always struggle with the permanency.
21:47It's a love of my life. I still talk to him every single day as if when I'm getting ready in the
21:52morning, when I'm getting ready to go to bed, when I'm just going about my day, it's, I still feel
21:58him so much with me. And I just, again, the permanency will never, it will never settle in.
22:07You know, we talked a little about this on radio today, but when you think of heaven and as a
22:12Christian, I believe in heaven, Jesus on the cross says to a person to his left, this day,
22:19you will be with me in paradise. The eye hath not seen, the ear hath not heard, nor has it entered
22:24into the hearts of man what God has in store for those who love the truth. I say at the end of my
22:29show, hopefully you stay up once in a while, let not your heart be troubled. Yes. But the verse goes on
22:35in my father's house and many mansions and I go to prepare a place for you so that where
22:40I am, you shall also be. Amen. Does that give you comfort? It does. My daughter and I, we've
22:45talked about this at night. She would ask, what did daddy, what do you think daddy did today
22:50in heaven? And I'll have her relay that back to me or, you know, she'll, we've come to the
22:55understanding and I've tried to explain this to her that daddy's still with us. He's just
23:02in a different location and he's building us a home in heaven. And I've, I've said this
23:07before, but she said, I can't wait to go. I said, me too, baby. Yeah. Um, this is an amazing
23:14message. I actually was, I was reading the book. I, as you can tell, I tore up Charlie's book.
23:22I'm the same way. Um, but I read every page of it. First of all, he's a biblical scholar,
23:27which was beyond impressive. Phenomenal. I mean, I would think any scholar would be impressed by the
23:34scholarship behind this. Um, the second thing that stood out, uh, about this is, wow, what a powerful
23:42message that he's sending. Turn off your phone Friday night at sunset. Don't turn it back on till
23:49Saturday night at sunset. I think that it could be shocking to most people. How did it work in your
23:55life? Well, let me just explain first how much time and effort went into this book. Charlie would
24:01not, he didn't write this book without doing what he's talking about in this book. That's not the way
24:08he operates. He learned as much as he could about this topic. We have over 50 books on our bookshelf
24:17about the Sabbath. He wanted to know it so deeply and, and he saw the fruit of what it was like
24:24to actually detach from the world, stop the noise, stop the scrolling and just put pause on everything
24:32and focus on your family. And he was at first, you know, it was started with an hour, two hours,
24:38but then once he fully incorporated into his life, he, he totally elevated. He became a next level
24:45husband, which I didn't even think was possible because he was already so incredible to me and
24:49the babies. But I saw how this changed his life. And it's something so simple, so simple. Just
24:56turning your phone off or detaching from TV or your daily life and just taking a minute to pause and
25:02breathe and understanding how important family is and putting into perspective that the battle's
25:09already won. Just, just love on what the Lord has blessed you with. He talked about how that's real
25:15rest. It is. And it is. And that means not watching television, binge watching. It means present with
25:22your family, present with God, present with the Lord, rest your brain, rest your heart, rest your soul.
25:29We're not machines. We're humans. We have souls. We, we are here to make a difference. And if you can't
25:36hear from the Lord, if you're being inundated constantly from other people, trying to take
25:42your attention away from what the ultimate goal is, how are you able to make decisions for your
25:46family and for your company and for X, Y, Z, if you are so inundated with whatever the enemy wants
25:52you to have? I mean, we talked about this earlier, busyness. That's not the same as being productive.
25:57The way you write that in the, the way he writes it in the book is very powerful.
26:00Very much so. There's a huge difference. We can get boggled down with to-do lists
26:04and thinking that that is productivity. It's actually not. Charlie was incredible with time
26:09management and time on this earth is so limited. You and I both know that. And now we see it in
26:14technicolor with what happened to my husband, but time is so precious. And so are you going to spend
26:19that time investing into your family, investing into the eternal things, investing into things that
26:23will, will, you will have in heaven, or are you going to waste that time getting in internet debates
26:29and, you know, going down rabbit holes? You know, I, when you were on the radio show today,
26:34I asked you to read a passage because I thought it would be better coming from you. And it was the
26:39Sabbath is Sabbath is not just a nice idea. It's not just the day of rest for the religious or
26:45nostalgic. The Sabbath is God's answer to a culture spinning out of control. And it is his ancient
26:53rhythm and sanity planted like an anchor in a world swept away by currents and chaos. And he said,
27:01six days, we work, build, engage on the seventh day. We stop not because we're weak, not weak. We
27:07stop because we're human. I mean, he's 31 years old and that's way more profound than I think anything
27:16I could say. He's he, again, he did not just write this book. He lived it. So when you feel something
27:23so deeply and you've experienced it and you lived it, you want to be able to tell other people, look,
27:29this will change your life. I know it might sound simple, but sometimes the best answers are the
27:34most simple ones. It is truth. And he, again, our whole team knew on, on days where he didn't get a
27:42full Sabbath and did because he just was so locked in and he, he just, again, was the most incredible
27:50man. But this just took him to a whole new level. And, and it was in a way where you would look at
27:56him and be like, whatever you're doing, I want to do. And he's like, here, and this is his final
28:01message. This is what I'm trying to express to people. This is Charlie's last book. So people can
28:07write books all about my husband and what he believed and what he said and analyze his videos.
28:11These are his words. And when you read them, you feel him come to life. It's powerful.
28:18It is very powerful. And it really caused me as I read it again, I read the whole thing,
28:24you know, and I'll be honest, I can't read the last few pages. I'm not there yet.
28:29It's just emotionally. Cause I understand this book is done. It's done. Of course. I mean,
28:33you know, everybody thinks we should all mourn a certain way, right? Okay. Well, until you walk a
28:39mile in someone else's shoes, you know, don't lecture people a hundred percent because,
28:44you know, I grew up in an Irish family of one corner of the room, there's people pretty wasted.
28:49They're drinking heavily. Another corner of the room, you know, there's people crying in the corner
28:54of the room. They're telling jokes about the person that died. Then there's the two people
28:57that can't stop touching the dead body. It used to freak me out, you know, but people mourn differently.
29:03Um, I felt at one point in this book, man, I felt like this lecture was just for me,
29:10but it really, I think applies to everyone. I related to it. He gives you, he, it's sort of
29:16like a salesperson overcoming objections, right? He gives you every excuse your mind can think of
29:21not to do this. A hundred percent. And I'm like, check, check, check. You don't have time.
29:26The president may call. Right. Exactly. You don't have time to do this. You have kids' soccer games.
29:31No, he goes through all of it. And he says, respectfully, it's making adjustments, not excuses.
29:37Yeah. Um, after all this happened, you know, I knew Charlie more on the political side of him,
29:43but the most important part of Sean Hannity is the personal private side that has been hesitant,
29:50never wanted to proselytize. And especially as I've gotten older, my faith has grown stronger,
29:56and stronger. And after this happened and he was assassinated, you know, Ainsley, for example,
30:03myself started watching videos of the two of you. Yeah. And one really stood out about how you would,
30:10Charlie would always ask you and you would ask him how you can serve each other. You know,
30:15in a lot of marriages, they go wrong. It's, well, she won't, he won't, the horrible cook,
30:22whatever. Right. Right. I want to play with a little of that. Sweet.
30:27Charlie and I check in with each other every single day. How can I serve you better? What can
30:30I do for you to make it better when you get home? Is there anything that you need me to have ready
30:34for you when you come back from the office or this trip, X, Y, Z? He asked me the same thing if I'm
30:38out doing something or even if I'm out with the kids, what can I do? How can I make your day better?
30:42You're a team and you guys are not at ends with each other, work together, communicate and grow
30:50together as equally yoked partnership. I think there's a lot of deep meaning in that and a lot
30:58of lessons for couples to learn. Can you give us more detail? What did it mean for you to serve him
31:05and for him to serve you? Because I often joke, why did they take away love, honor, obey? I'm kidding.
31:13I'm not Bam Bam. I'm not Fred Flintstone. But what did it mean to you?
31:19What it meant to me was that he actually genuinely cared about how he could improve himself as a
31:25husband, not from the standpoint of, you know, look at me, I'm better than you, but in the standpoint
31:31of I want to serve you because I love you and I want to make sure that I can be the provider that
31:36you need spiritually, emotionally and every other way with the children. And we never looked at each
31:42other as competing roles. It was never from the standpoint of, well, you're the wife, you need
31:47to stay and X, Y, Z and I'm the husband and I go out and it was always we're a team. There was no
31:53daylight between us. He always told me about his day, everything that was going on with Turning
31:57Point USA, everything that he was up to and vice versa. And that's why there was we were always in
32:03lockstep with the Lord. We were equally yoked when we got married and we remained that way because our
32:07full focus and our full our full through line was the Lord. We made we had a fire at the covenant when
32:15we made when we got married and we made that covenant with the Lord. That was not something that was
32:20just, oh, this is so cute. We have a really beautiful wedding. No, this is a big deal. You found the love
32:26of your life. The Lord has been able to bring you guys together for a purpose and for a reason.
32:31And God is going to use your marriage in ways that will blow your mind. And yes, there is some pain in
32:38that. There is some deep pain and people, not everyone will understand it. And I don't expect
32:43anyone else to. But the love that Charlie and I had and still have is something that transcends
32:49this world and into heaven. And that's why I still feel so connected to him, because again,
32:53we made that covenant and how intentional he was about serving myself that made me be a better
33:00wife. How can I serve you when you get home? What can I do better to be a better wife to you? How can
33:04I love on you better when you communicate with each other? That's what's missing in this world. You talk
33:08about us being detached on our phones at dinner. I saw that tonight. There was a five-year-old girl at
33:15a round table with her family of five. And the only person with headphones on rhinestone headphones was the
33:21five-year-old girl. What message does that show to her? Your voice doesn't matter. You're not an
33:27adult. You're not raising a little girl. You're raising a woman. And so in this book, too, Charlie
33:32talks about how important it is. Put your phone down. Engage with your family. Pour into them.
33:37That's your legacy. You don't want to ignore that. You want to pour into them.
33:41Are people actually, do they spend all that time running away? They don't want to face whatever it is.
33:47I mean, I think one of the hardest things to do in life is, and I think Christianity is
33:52misunderstood in a lot of ways. And that, you know, oh, I'm a Christian. Oh, you think you're
33:58holier than now. I don't believe that at all. I think the first thing you acknowledge as a Christian
34:02is you're a failure. You're a sinner and you need a savior. That is the first thing. So I don't know
34:09how that's holier than now when you realize up front you need a God and it's not you.
34:15And you're asking for help and you're asking for transformation. Correct.
34:18From the Latin, the word repentance means to change one's heart. Right.
34:22And you're asking for help to do that. Right. And Charlie talks about that in this book from
34:27the standpoint of do not idolize yourself. You don't have all the answers. You're not supposed to.
34:33And that's where it's so important for you to do a deep dive. Know your nature. Like Charlie said,
34:38figure out, obviously you're not perfect. No one is. Only God is.
34:42But there are things that you can do in your life to be able to be more in tune with the Holy Spirit
34:48and be able to make a difference in this life, a short life. And it starts with you realizing
34:57you're not perfect and the world doesn't revolve around you and you're here to serve
35:01and to love others. That's what's most important. You know, you talk about what the heart of Christianity
35:07is what was Jesus's commandment? You know, love others as I have loved you.
35:15And he gave the ultimate sacrifice. Correct.
35:19As I as I look at this and by the way, it's 45 books dot com. I hope everyone will get a hold of it.
35:24You know, we're mind, body and spirit. You know, and we're all into health, wellness, fitness, nutrition,
35:30trying to stay alive forever. Right. Cold plunge. Right. And eating healthier. All right. We nourish
35:39our minds. We know by reading and intellectual knowledge. We nourish our bodies. We eat healthier.
35:47We work out. But I think we often forget the spiritual component of the of human existence
35:52and stillness. I think my best moments or the moments I feel closest to God are when I'm still
35:59and I'm quiet. Absolutely. And it's probably I don't I don't do it enough. Not I probably don't.
36:04I don't. Well, the enemy would love for you not to. The battleground is in your head. The enemy would
36:10love nothing more than to be able to just confuse things in your head and make it so loud that you
36:14cannot make any decisions. You can't absorb the word. You can't engage with other people. You can't
36:19communicate with other people. You're just so you're on autopilot. The enemy would love that.
36:26But when you're able to stop and be still with the Lord, that's when he's able to use you the most
36:31when you're surrendered, when you're fully surrendered. It's like saying the Lord's prayer
36:36slowly with meaning and not getting, oh, I'm thinking about my next show. I'm thinking about,
36:41you know, what I'm going to say to so and so the next time I see them. No, it's right.
36:45And that's what's so important. When you start, when you say that prayer and you catch yourself
36:50thinking outside of that space, start over. I start over. Yeah.
36:5745books.com. Yes. It's called Stop in the Name of God. Why honoring the Sabbath will transform your
37:03life. What an unbelievable final statement from somebody that I became friendly with and came to
37:12love and admire. And you know what's so powerful is that he is now living the ultimate Sabbath.
37:17He's going to change lives with this book. And I think millions of them. And it really is a powerful
37:22book. And I hope people will consider at least try the hour, the two hours first, and then maybe work
37:29into it. You don't even have to be religious. You can be a non-observing citizen and use this book to
37:33change your life. Shabbat shalom. Amen. I watch The Chosen over and over and over again.
37:39And I feel like I know. But Erica, I'm so, so glad you came to be with us tonight. You're going to be
37:46on Fox and Friends tomorrow. Yes. You're going to be co-hosting The Five. We have a busy week.
37:50Welcome to our Fox family. Thank you. God bless you. It's really an honor to have you here. Thank you
37:53for being such a good friend, Sean. We pray for your children and you and your whole
37:57Turning Point family. I deeply appreciate that. We need the prayers. Thank you. God bless you.
38:03It's 45books.com. Yes, sir. All right. And in bookstores around the country.
38:07We'll have more Hannity straight ahead. All right. Now for our other news of the day,
38:14a new poll shows our old friend Gavin Newsom as the clear Democratic favorite in the 2028
38:20presidential race at 25 percent, seven points ahead of Kamala Harris. And like so many others,
38:26our next guest, comedian Jeff Dye, is fleeing California for the red state of Texas because
38:32Newsom scares the bleep out of him. Take a look at what he said.
38:37I'm kind of in this kind of L.A. thing. And this I could be guilty of of being a victim
38:44of like what I'm absorbing in my algorithm. But like Gavin Newsom scares the bleep out of
38:50me. And I I'm I'm I don't want to be a part of it. Yeah, he wants to run the whole country
38:56too. It's pretty, pretty wild. And those fires were quite a wake up call for even if, you know,
39:03whatever you believe about the fires, the way it was dealt with was pretty scary.
39:06It was not competent. That's for sure. Even the aftermath.
39:10Here with reaction, stand up comedian, podcaster Jeff Dye. Sir, big fan. Great to have you.
39:17Shouldn't they have water and fire hydrants and reservoirs? And I don't know, you have the highest
39:23sales taxes, gas taxes, income taxes. Why would you want to leave that paradise?
39:29Well, yeah, exactly. Well, you you'd think that all those things would be happening here,
39:34you know, by the way, thanks for having me on the show. You know, it's bad when an everyday
39:39comedian or or a reality star like Spencer Pratt is pulling our hair out going, what's happening
39:45here? How are we all of a sudden political? But that's how bad it's gotten. I mean, frankly,
39:50he says he can fix the homeless problem. We still got a homeless problem. He said he'd give us a
39:55little train to get from LAX and back. Nobody saw any of that. Nobody knows where all the money went.
40:01So it's just problem after problem after problem. And then when they set your house on fire,
40:05you start to go, maybe this is a bigger problem that I want to deal with.
40:09Yeah. All right. So I want to show you and bring your attention to a clip of Gavin months after the
40:17Pacific Palisades fire, claiming his hair caught fire when he was surveying the damage. Take a look
40:24at this. I was up there in the hills with these guys and we all turned around when my hair literally
40:33burst on. There's a video of it. And they threw me in the car. The guy hits my hair and throws me
40:37in the car. I don't know. Call me a doubter. I think I'd like to see the actual video evidence of
40:44that. Where's the video? Where's the video? I think we would have seen that video of his hair
40:50on fire. I don't know. I think that would make it. That would be a good video. All right. Let me
40:54move on. Rosie O'Donnell cannot stop thinking about Donald Trump. I know you'll love this story.
40:59Washington Post piece on her move to Ireland. Rosie shared her therapist told her to detach from
41:06posting about Donald Trump for two days. Well, she didn't last more than a couple hours before she
41:11was back to being, you know, posting nasty, lengthy Trump rants. I mean, that is cuckoo crazy.
41:19If you don't like him, why are you so obsessed? You don't live here anymore. Go drink a pint or two
41:26or three. Yeah. I think anyone who thinks about the president all day, no matter what, whether it's
41:33positive or negative, needs to get their head checked. Like I don't understand any obsession with
41:39any one person, especially in politics, where that's all you're thinking about all day. I need
41:44this woman is mentally ill. She's like, I'm out of here. And it doesn't seem to have fixed anything.
41:49She's in Ireland, annoying them with all her Trump derangement syndrome. So it's pretty,
41:53pretty strange. I was actually, uh, Jeff, you love this story. I was on the view with her once
41:58and she went crazy. Barbara Walters, God bless her soul, was trying to get us to stop. She wasn't
42:06going to stop. I wasn't going to stop. And then she starts, I'm like, okay, she really belongs,
42:13you know, somewhere else, but here. Um, I don't know. I think I'm all in favor of Ireland adopting
42:21her. Yeah. Have her. We would be so grateful. Maybe we could get some money together. We could,
42:28we could pitch them a whole package. It'll be like, we'll take all the people we kind of like
42:32Shohei Ohtani, whatever we can get, uh, Conor McGregor, whoever, whoever we can get from these
42:37places. And then you can kind of have some of, you can have some of our guys, you know,
42:41you can have some of our ladies and, uh, Rosie would be first on that list for me.
42:45All right. I'll do an even trade. Rosie for Conor McGregor, done deal. Conor,
42:49welcome to the USA. You're a citizen. Perfect. Uh, anyway, Jeff, we appreciate you, man. Thank you.
42:55Thanks for being with us. All right. When we come back, oh, we got the tape. Mark Kelly,
42:59the Senator, Arizona, the state that voted for Trump, trashing Trump supporters,
43:05trashing you people in the state of Arizona. We'll tell you what he said straight ahead.
43:10Look, right there. I know it's dirty, but I saw movement. And listen, do you hear that? I think
43:32they're trapped.
44:02They're free.
44:07They're fine.
44:10They're forced to throw.
44:14They're forced to wave.
44:23They're forced to wave.
44:23They're forced to wave.
44:26They years later, drivers are forced to wave.
44:29Meow, meow, meow.
44:59Meow, meow, meow.
45:29Meow, meow, meow.
45:59Meow, meow, meow.
