Meet Doc, the cowboy corgi

Alex Whitaker is based at Hatcham Downs, Taroom and loves her cowboy corgi, Doc.

00:00This is Doc. He's a Cowboy Corgi and I'm Alex, the owner. Very, very lucky girl.

00:05And how long have you had Doc for?

00:06I've had Doc for probably two months now. Yeah, he's getting on.

00:11How old is he?

00:12He was born in late August, so almost four months.

00:16And what's your favourite thing about Cowboy Corgis?

00:18Honestly, they're actually just the biggest characters I've ever met.

00:21I've had, this is my second puppy, and my first one was absolutely brilliant, don't get me wrong,

00:25but he is just a character. My mates have met him and my boss wanted to rename him Dude.

00:30He's that much of a dude himself, as you can tell.

00:33And do you think everyone should get a Cowboy Corgi?

00:35Absolutely, they're the greatest. You can get them to work. I'm not very good at it yet,

00:38but they're meant to be able to work and he's just a great lap dog or house dog if you want him to be,

00:42but also loves to be outside with the bigger dogs.
