01:01still owes them nearly $200,000. The company, Smuggler Inc. believes Epic Records never intended
01:08to pay them the final payment as promised in their agreement and, quote, looked for and fabricated
01:13excuses to try and reduce the contract price to an amount below $600,000. Adding to this,
01:20Epic Records reportedly blacklisted Smuggler Inc., causing two directors to pull out a
01:26of projects that they were bidding for. Moving on to Cardi B now because she took to Twitter to
01:30defend her soon-to-be ex-husband from fans. Cardi B said, quote, I don't give a F if you don't like
01:36him. I don't talk to him, but you're not going to disrespect my child's father. I will slap at you
01:40courtesy of culture. She continued, quote, you're not the one that's going to raise my kid. You're not
01:45the one who's paying for her shit. And finally, let's talk about Tory Lanez because just weeks after
01:50the release of his album claiming his innocence, Tory has reportedly been officially charged in
01:55connection with Megan Thee Stallion's shooting. According to TMZ, the LA County DA's office hit
02:01Tory with one count of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded,
02:07unregistered firearm in a vehicle. If convicted, Tory faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison.
