00:00Travis Scott reacts to the Derek Chauvin verdict, Cardi B slams politicians, plus we know what
00:09Justin Bieber did in prison. Hey guys, it's Devante for Hollywood Life with your music
00:16roundup, starting with Justin Bieber singing to prisoners. Last month we mentioned JB and
00:21his pastor paid a visit to the California State Prison in LA County to support their
00:26faith-based programs. Well now in a video obtained by TMZ of Justin's visit, we can see that the pop
00:31icon sang a short set of songs for the prisoners. According to the people present for the performance,
00:37Justin's unplugged set was emotional, empathetic, and had him on the verge of tears.
00:42Switching gears to Kalani, the singer took to her TikTok to come out as lesbian. In the video,
00:46Kalani revealed she's been trying to have a heart-to-heart conversation with her family and
00:51friends about coming out, but instead of getting congratulations, they've been telling her how
00:55they've known for some time. So when you're done watching this video, go give Kalani some love on
01:00social media. Don't be one of those duh we already knew people. Moving on to Cardi B, the rapper took
01:05to Twitter to slam politicians for being more concerned about her than police brutality. Cardi retweeted a
01:12video of Wisconsin rep Glenn Rothman speaking about her and said, quote, this gets me so mad you don't
01:19even know. I think we all been on edge this week since we've seen police brutality back to back,
01:24including watching one of the biggest cases in history go down due to police brutality. But wait,
01:31this was what state representatives decide to talk about? In the clip, Glenn can be heard saying that
01:36people have contacted his offices about Cardi's Grammy performance lacking, quote, basic decency.
01:43And now let's talk about Travis Scott reacting to the Derek Chauvin verdict. While speaking with the
01:48Associated Press, Travis said, quote, I mean, we felt like we finally got justice towards some that was
01:54just very disgusting. He continued, quote, now we can try to work forward to even just try to stop it
02:01in a mass picture. You get what I'm saying? Try to get the next step where we can halt this attack,
02:06you know, whether it's from the police or any walking person and just try to get to a more balanced spot
02:13in the world because this is just crazy. But all right, guys, make sure you hit that sub,
02:17like and bell button and have a nice weekend.
