WOMAN SNAPS AT YOUNG GIRL FOR INVADING A SEA TURTLES SPACE WITH VID BY SALONI MATHUR Watch as a woman steps in to stop a young girl from getting too close to a sea turtle enjoying a leisurely swim. Jaime Sanders was swimming in Poipu, Hawaii, when she noticed a sea turtle gliding nearby. A young girl, eager to film the animal, moved too close, entering the turtle’s comfort zone. Despite several people asking her to back off, the girl ignored the warnings, until another woman finally intervened, raising her voice to protect the animal. She said: “If you don’t get out of the turtle’s face, I am going to take your phone away. “15 feet, lady, move, get away from the turtle.” Jaime was able to capture the whole incident on her phone. She stated: “Just a reminder that travelling means respecting the places and creatures we’re lucky enough to see. “All too often, people get so focused on the ‘perfect shot’ that they put themselves, and wildlife, in dangerous situations. “Hawaii’s sea turtles are protected for a reason. “Give them space, follow the rules, and help keep these incredible animals safe.” ENDs
