00:00Panang Sarai MP Azman Nasruddin today claimed trial to a charge of abetting corruption in

00:06connection with a feedlot project. Azman entered his plea before Sessions Court Judge Nasser Nordin

00:12and was accused of conspiring with Amar Aswat Abu Bakar to commit a crime under

00:17the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.

00:22Amar allegedly received RM400,000 from businessman Hassan Naim Fauzi

00:26as a reward for assisting him in obtaining a joint venture beef cattle feedlot project

00:31at the Kadha Agro Feedlot Farm from Kadha Agro Holding Berhardt.

00:37Meanwhile, Azman allegedly directed KHB's CEO to issue the letter of offer to Hassan Naim for the project.

00:46The charge against Azman was framed under Section 28, Sub 1, Sub C of the MACC Act 2009,

00:52read together with Section 16, Sub A, Sub A of the same Act.
