Hey, good afternoon, everybody. This is Chris Berger, bergerpoints.com.
Check me out.
Local real estate agent here in the Hudson Valley region.
Today, I wanted to talk to you about what goes into a memo of sale and what that exactly is.
Well, of course, before you put your house on the market and before you start searching for a house, you should have an attorney.
At least contact information and keep him posted about how your search is going.
Once you have that information, keep it in your back pocket because a buyer, once they have made an offer to the seller and it’s accepted, what will happen next, of course, is the inspection.
Then after that, it’s time to generate a contract.
So, this contract will be generated by the seller’s attorney.
It then goes to the buyer’s attorney.
And at this point, the buyer will come in, sign the contract. Then over the course of the next day or so, it goes back to the seller’s attorney.
The sellers come in, they sign it.
And at this point, legally, you have a deal to move on.
So, keep in mind that process and how it works.
