01:01:59Roy, you're going up against the sixth southpaw in your last seven fights.

01:02:05Do you look forward to fighting the southpaw by now?

01:02:09Not really, man.

01:02:10You know, I look forward to whatever comes my way.

01:02:12I hate the fact that I have to fight so many southpaws, but, you know, I know with my career being the way that it has been,

01:02:19that I would always do something different from the norm.

01:02:22And I know that this is something that God sends at me just to show that, I guess, to show my dominance.

01:02:28You're considered an unorthodox fighter.

01:02:31Is fighting a southpaw make you even more unorthodox?

01:02:35Yeah, but then the thing about this fight is that I'm fighting an unorthodox southpaw.

01:02:41So this is going to make a whole lot of mess go wrong.

01:02:44But, you know, it's my job to straighten it out because I'm the champion and I have to do what I can to show that my skills are superior to whatever comes my way.

01:02:51So I'm very much looking forward to the opportunity to go out and take this unorthodox southpaw and make him into a regular southpaw.

01:02:59What makes Eric Harding unorthodox as a southpaw, even?

01:03:03Number one, he's so tall.

01:03:05Number two, his punches come out at a different pace.

01:03:07They don't come like you would expect the punches to come.

01:03:10He doesn't throw punches that would be like normal, traditional punches.

01:03:14They happen either a second earlier or a second later.

01:03:16They don't come on the time that you would expect his punches to come.

01:03:19So does that mean you have to sound him out, see what he brings to the party?

01:03:26Or do you go and just try to get him out of there before he can find what he wants to do with you?

01:03:31Well, being Roy Jones Jr., you know, I try to sign him out.

01:03:33I try to figure him out first and see what's going on, see what he's bringing to the party.

01:03:37Then I'll deal with it.

01:03:38But, however, if I have to go pull the R.J. out of the closet, you know, R.J. will come go right in there and just do what he's got to do.

01:03:44What does he bring to the party?

01:03:47He's a tall southpaw who has power.

01:03:49People underestimate his power because he doesn't have a lot of knockouts.

01:03:52But he does have power, and he has a lot of courage.

01:03:55He has a big heart.

01:03:56He's the guy that when you put him in, it doesn't look good, but he wins.

01:04:00Talking about party, this is your party.

01:04:04You're, in essence, the promoter of the party.

01:04:07You've been jumping all over the countryside trying to promote this pay-per-view event.

01:04:13How does that affect you as a prize fighter?

01:04:15Well, you know, Roy usually doesn't do stuff like that because Roy always puts winning ahead of promoting a fight.

01:04:21But this time, this particular time, all the promotion is on me.

01:04:26Everything that I make comes out of what promotion I did.

01:04:28So I did, I think, a pretty good job of promoting the fight, and I had to do that because if I don't promote the fight, then how are we going to get paid?

01:04:35So I had to promote the fight.

01:04:36Secondly, I think it's going to be a beautiful promotion because you don't often get a chance to get Master P and Cash Money and Scarface and Mystical, everybody performing at one time.

01:04:47Kevin Kelly said before his fight with Eric Morales last week that he feels like an artist, and the ring is his canvas, and his fists are his brushes.

01:05:00He ran out of paint in that fight.

01:05:04How much paint does Roy Jones have left in his fists?

01:05:07You're going to be 32 early next year.

01:05:10I think I've got enough probably to paint the United States, actually, but I don't know how much of it I'll use.

01:05:15See, here goes what Roy Jones does.

01:05:17Roy goes out and does what he does best.

01:05:19But what I have that you guys don't know about yet is that I've got a secret weapon.

01:05:24So when I find myself running out of paint, I know where to go get some more paint from.
