A bushfire in Dolphin Sands on Tasmania’s east coast has been downgraded from emergency level to watch and act. The latest advice is if you did not leave the area overnight, continue to monitor conditions and be alert for changes. If you have left the area do not return yet as it is not safe to do so. Nineteen properties have been damaged in the small community. The blaze is one of eighteen fires which have now been downgraded to advice level, but people are reminded to be aware of potential dangers such as falling trees and damaged properties.
