00:03I'm going to guess a lot of folks have not seen these two teams play all season long.
00:06Both had great years.
00:07Kennesaw State, minus two and a half against Jacksonville State.
00:11Feels like Kennesaw has played all close games, every game, one score game for the last month or so.
00:18Jacksonville State played a team from my area here, Paul, and lost to FIU, if I'm not mistaken.
00:26FIU's been a really good team this season, too.
00:28A total of 59 and a half, a very evenly matched game.
00:32It would appear on paper, Paul.
00:34How do you feel about this one?
00:36Well, I'll tell you, it is an evenly matched game for sure, Craig.
00:39And I'm actually going to look at the total here.
00:41And I'm referencing the first meeting between these two teams.
00:45That was won by Jacksonville State, 35 to 26 over Kennesaw State.
00:50That game was actually played in Jacksonville, Alabama, not to be confused with Jacksonville, Florida.
00:55But Kennesaw State went in there as the three-point favorite, lost that game to Jacksonville State, 35 to 26.
01:02But there was tons of offense in that first meeting.
01:05The teams combined for over 1,000 total yards of offense, 579 of those by Kennesaw on 90 plays.
01:13Jacksonville State ends up with 451 total yards on 56 plays.
01:19So the teams combined to average over seven yards per play.
01:23Kennesaw, they would have scored more in the game, but they were hampered by four interceptions, three of those fairly deep in Jacksonville State territory.
01:33Two of those interceptions, they started to play on the Jacksonville State, 23.
01:38On a third of those interceptions, on a third one, they were third and goal from the Jacksonville State, four.
01:44So three interceptions by Kennesaw State deep in Jacksonville State's territory, or they would have scored more than the 26 points there.
