00:18I've been here for essentially two weeks.
00:25And had two recruiting weekends, official visits.
00:31It was a scramble.
00:33It really was a scramble.
00:35We were fortunate to be able to hold on to most of the Virginia Tech commitments, which was cool.
00:43Being able to hold on to that group that was excited about the history, traditions, academic reputation of this university.
00:51Combine that kind of with my background and my resume and my experience.
00:56And we're able to hold on to most of those guys.
00:59When I took the job and everything went down, I called these people, asked them to come to my house.
01:04And said, hey, I need you to come with me tomorrow to Virginia Tech.
01:11There he is talking about how it all went down at this point right now.
01:13By the way, what are the odds, Joe?
01:15Can we get a Couchie market where he actually says the words Penn State as opposed to Virginia Tech and forgets where he's at?
01:20Because we've all hosted different shows under different names and accidentally said the wrong network and or name before.
01:26He's probably already done it so far.
01:29Well, yeah, listen, he certainly remembered where he was when he poached 10 of the former commits to Penn State who are now committing to Virginia Tech.
01:39So he apparently got the names correct when he called those recruits and said, yeah, I'm not at Penn State.
01:46I'm at Virginia Tech.
01:48Would you like to come and play?
01:49And 10 of them were like, yep, we're good.
01:51We're coming, coach.
01:52Tough scene for Penn State.
01:55You know what else is a tough scene?
01:56Lane Kiffin.
01:57You know he's lying to people all over the place.
01:59His players currently, or I should say previously, they ain't having it, Joe.
02:02What was said at that meeting is not what Lane is telling you in the public.

02:07And Lane cares this much about it.

02:12At this point, he can't hear you over the Brinks trucks that are backing up to his house right now.
