00:00How does that relate potentially to the Heisman Trophy?
00:03Ty Simpson with another solid performance.
00:05He's 5-1 to win a Heisman Trophy,
00:10followed by Marcel Reed, Diego Pavia,
00:13that picked up an overtime win over Auburn last week, 45-38.
00:18Gunnar Stockton at 30-1.
00:20And the guy that doesn't seem to get enough credit,
00:22he was hot as a pistol earlier on, was Trinidad Chambliss.
00:26All he does is put up numbers and win.
00:29He's fallen behind now to some of the others in the conference, Coach.
00:33Yeah, they've forgotten about him.
00:34I mean, he's got to win these couple of games here,
00:37then go win the SEC championship.
00:40And let's remember, the Heisman gets voted on the weekend
00:43after the conference championship game.
00:46And so it's going to be before any of the playoffs down the road.
00:49So you kind of have to picture, I mean, it's like me, I love Pavia.
00:53I love Pavia.
00:54What if he were to beat Tennessee and were to beat Kentucky
00:57and then go out there and play?
00:59And then everybody's watching him in the SEC championship game
01:02if he had a chance to get there, you know.
01:05But anyway, I just think, to me,
01:07I think he's the most exciting quarterback in the country
01:10if you were voting on the guy that's making the biggest impact on their program.
01:15But I think we've got to see which of these guys takes their team
01:18to and through their conference championship.
01:22Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see which quarterback is standing.
01:26I think the one, when you look at big picture, happens to be Marcel Reed.
01:30He wasn't a household name potentially at the start of the year,
01:34but he's versatile.
01:35He's a dual threat, completing well over 60% of his passes.
01:39He could do it with his arm and his legs.
01:41Coach, he had a dynamic performance.
01:43Yet again, consistent, doesn't turn the football over,
01:46puts his team in a position to win at plus 850 if they were to knock off Texas.
01:52He wins an SEC championship.
01:54Has he done enough?
01:55I know he's within striking distance,
01:58but I feel like the love is always for Alabama and Ty Simpson.
02:01Can Marcel Reed potentially steal it over the likes of Ty Simpson
02:05or even Indiana's Fernando Mendoza about where we are in the regular season?
02:11Well, I mean, if you're going to throw in those two Big Ten quarterbacks,
02:14they have the perfect situation, likely to go undefeated.
02:19One of them, Ohio State, he pays Michigan.
02:22Then they're going to play as two undefeated teams,
02:24likely for the conference championship.
02:26That's going to get most of the publicity.
02:29Now, if Marcel Reed were to go out there and beat Ty Simpson
02:32in the SEC championship to lead his team, that adds a new light to that.
02:37So it's very important, I think,
02:38when we're talking about a Heisman Trophy winner coming out of the SEC
02:44they've got to have a great last game and a great championship game
02:50because the publicity really is – there's not a dynamic name that people are grabbing.
02:54In fact, I mean, I don't think there's a big name that everybody falls in love with yet.
02:59It's still kind of an open Heisman race at this point.
03:02Let's go.
03:04Let's go.
