Nutrien's Brendan Fitzgerald said it was a quality yarding after a hard start to the season.

00:00I thought it was a very outstanding quality yarding. After a hard start to the season, the calves have come on pretty well.
00:07We did get a later spring which helped, created a bit of grass fever around too for the buying side, so no, really good yarding.
00:15I think there was prices for EU wean type cattle in that weight range that sold it very well, 40 to 70 or 80.
00:24But once you got off the EU types, or unwean type cattle, it probably could have dropped 30 cents.
00:31Heifers fell short a little bit, but still reasonable rates on where we've been over the last couple of years.
00:37It was good to see Western District boys, which apparently they've got a lot of feed down there now through Warrnambool, Coral Lake, Mortlake areas.
00:43So Ballarat was there too, so it was good to see a representation from down there and they supported the sale well.
00:50Andrew Lowe of course was very good, Fraser family and so it was good support all round that way.
