00:00Pull-Apart Cheeseburger Sliders
00:03These Korean-inspired pull-apart sliders are about to become your new crowd-pleasing obsession,
00:08combining all the comfort of classic cheeseburgers with the addictive fun of pull-apart bread.
00:13To make the special sauce, combine ½ cup of mayo, 1 third cup of sweet Thai chili sauce,
00:182 tablespoons of tamari, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, and 1 grated garlic clove in a mixing bowl.
00:24This sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
00:29Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
00:34Heat a large cast iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
00:41Add the 1 pound ground meat and cook until browned all over,
00:44breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
00:48Add 2-3 tablespoons of gochujang, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of onion powder,
00:551 teaspoon of garlic powder, and season generously with salt and pepper.
00:59Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
01:03Place the bottom halves of the 12 dinner rolls onto your prepared baking sheet,
01:06keeping them close together in their original shape.
01:09Layer the 4 to 6 slices of sharp cheddar cheese evenly over the rolls,
01:13tearing pieces as needed to cover completely.
01:16Spoon the seasoned meat mixture evenly over the cheese layer,
01:19then drizzle 1 third cup of the special sauce over the meat.
01:23Top with 1 cup shredded spicy cheddar or pepper jack,
01:26then arrange the pickles and or pepperoncini over the cheese for tangy bursts of flavor.
01:32In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of butter, 4 to 6 chopped garlic cloves,
01:371 tablespoon of fresh herbs, and 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese until well combined.
01:43Cover the assembled sliders tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
01:49Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted
01:54and the tops are golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
02:01The bold Korean flavors pair beautifully with crisp lagers or wheat beers that won't compete with the gochujang heat.
