00:00Now, moving on, earlier on during the week, we had Oga Obina and Kasipo have a little chat, you know.
00:09They sat down on Oga Obina's talk show and talked about a few things.
00:14The episode was even titled Difficult Questions and Difficult Questions They Did Address.
00:20Now, Kasipo has really centered himself in the middle of championing for Tanzania, championing for other people.
00:30But today, specifically, we are talking about his views and the instances where he is championing for the current government of Tanzania.
00:41Now, while he was seated with Obina, he did bring up the fact that he had actually mentioned this in a previous video where he wanted to paint Larry Badoo as a propaganda person,
00:52as somebody who's just there to murd the waters, mix up things, stir up trouble, enforce propaganda by foreign nations because of the short feature on, you know, CNN that Larry Badoo did.
01:09Now, Larry Badoo took to his social media while the ongoing elections, while the general elections in Tanzania were happening.
01:16We saw what we saw. We saw the videos on the internet. We saw the women who were being shot in the streets.
01:23We are not blind, neither are we silly.
01:26So, because the government of Tanzania was very particular about no coverage of general elections and the aftermath of the protests that happened during the general elections,
01:39we even saw reporters who were arrested, not because they did any funny stories or instigated or stirred up trouble,
01:48but simply because they reported about what was going on.
01:52We saw them arrested.
01:53So, Larry Badoo called out to the citizens of Tanzania after their internet was restored.
01:58Guys, there was a complete internet shutdown in Tanzania.
02:06So, after all of this is restored, Larry Badoo calls out and says,
02:10Hey, I know journalists in your country cannot tell the story without risking arrest.
02:16So, send me the videos. Send me any evidence.
02:19I will do my due diligence and then I will cover what is going on in Tanzania.
02:25Because, hey, somebody needs to.
02:27You just cannot kill people.
02:29You cannot commit atrocities and expect the world not to know simply because umezima waifai kwenyu.
02:35And that is what the citizens of Tanzania did.
02:37However, Kasipul is saying this is a propaganda by the West.
02:41You are being paid.
02:43Why don't you report racism?
02:45Why don't you report the things happening in Palestine?
02:49Why are you only reporting negative stories about Tanzania?
02:53Now, Ogobina did say that that is a lie.
02:57Larry Badoo was very factual.
02:59He was very impartial about all of this.
03:01He simply reported the events that happened in Tanzania.
03:06Now, as we move on from that,
03:09Kasipul said that clearly this was just another thing.
03:14You know, trying to make a sim, trying to gaslight us as if we did not see what we saw.
03:20As if people did not experience what they experienced.
03:23Even now in Tanzania, we have seen celebrities.
03:27We have seen artists.
03:28We have seen musicians come out again in support of Samir Suluhu talking about Mama Forever.
03:35And I'm just like, why would you be such a betrayer to the people?
03:38Because if you have a platform, you do have the responsibility to just talk about the things that are happening.
03:47You simply can't wake up one morning.
03:49You're given a few bucks here and there and decide that this is where you're standing.
03:53We've seen, well, where must I pay to?
03:56Girl, we'll see you.
03:57And that is not the correct decision.
03:59Now, Ogo Bina did shut him down immediately.
04:03And he said, hey, Larry Madowo said actually that he objectively reports about Africa.
04:10Objectively, the good, the bad, the nasty, the tasty.
04:15That is what he does.
04:16Objectively, impartially.
04:18So you cannot blame Larry Madowo for simply shining a light on the things that happened in Tanzania.
04:26Now, that's just politics.
04:28Sometimes I get riled up by these stories.
04:33But this is also a call to you who is watching us right now.
04:36Have you registered to vote?
04:38Okay.
04:39We saw the by-elections that happened in our own country just last week.
04:44And we saw how that played out.
04:46We saw the low voter turnout that was happening.
04:50So you who is watching us right now, have you registered to vote?
04:53Or are you going to wait for 2027?
04:56You are going to be disgruntled about the results or the people in power.
05:01And you are going to be an online keyboard warrior, giving us your frustrations and protesting online.
05:07We do not want that.
05:09If you want change, be the change that is needed.
05:12Register to vote.
05:13Our elections are just right above the corner.
05:16Say if your politicians are overworking.
05:18Wako outside.
05:19I saw a politician over there eating nyamachoma with the people.
05:23With the people.
05:24Okay.
05:25In those three years, he has been in office.
05:27Never been seen.
05:28But suddenly, because elections are right around the corner, he is eating nyamachoma with the people.
05:33Did you not see Rigi G walking around with Mira?
05:36So politicians are back campaigning on the roads, trying to do small, small works to cover, you know, your eyes.
05:44But please, sit down.
05:46Think about it.
05:47Think about who has your best interest.
05:50Vote for people because of their policies, not because of their popularity.
05:54We did see what happened the last time, you know, this was going on.
06:00And we did vote in Mr. Dimples because of the dimples.
06:05Where are we now?
06:06Where are we now?
06:08But I won't get too political about it.
