00:00Jeremy Renner has broken both of his arms in a stunt that went wrong while filming the
00:04New Line comedy Tag, but the actor revealed the injuries will not affect his ability to
00:08do his job. According to Renner,
00:10"...it won't stop things that I need to do. I heal fast and I'm doing everything I can
00:14to heal faster." He added,
00:16"...I'm doing a comedy that has a few stunts in it. It won't really affect my job.
00:21It affects how I get dressed in the morning. I cannot tie my shoes."
00:24Renner declined to specify which film he had sustained his injuries in.
00:27Sources confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the injury happened on the set of the
00:31comedy Tag, which like the other film Renner is working on, Avengers Infinity War is
00:36shooting in Atlanta. The actor said,
00:38"...I shall heal up before Avengers starts up again. I have fractured my right elbow and left wrist."
00:43The actor added with a grin,
00:45"...this is my face in pain." Back in June, Renner posted a photo on Instagram with two apparently
00:50injured arms. He captioned the pic,
00:52"...fall down seven times, stand up eight. Hashtag fixed up, hashtag pushed through."
00:57Renner made the comments about his injuries while speaking before a festival screening of his
01:00movie Wind River on Friday. In the film, Renner plays a federal wildlife officer who was drafted
01:06to help solve a murder on a Native American reservation in Wyoming. And with so many projects
01:11in the works, no wonder he isn't going to let two broken arms slow him down. For more on this story,
01:14including what Renner had to say about his movie Wind River at the festival, check out THR.com.
