00:00Ivana Trump is apparently the reason that her ex-husband, President Donald Trump, uses Twitter.

00:13In a new interview for CBS Sunday Morning, the former fashion model says that she's encouraged

00:18the president to tweet. During the sit-down, Ivana revealed Trump still seeks out her advice.

00:23When journalist Jim Axelrod wanted to know what the president asks her about, she said this.

00:30Ivana continued,

00:33She also defended him against critics who suggest he should stay away from the social media platform.

00:49Trump has recently taken to Twitter to criticize San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz,

00:59and to call out the NFL over players kneeling during the national anthem,

01:03all of which sparked outrage and disgust among stars and athletes alike.

01:07Ivana married Donald in 1977 before the two called it quits in 1992. During the interview,

01:13she says that the president offered her the position of the American ambassador to the Czech Republic.

01:18However, she turned it down because she likes her freedom.

01:21I like to do what I want to do, go wherever I want to go, with whomever I want to go.

01:25And I can afford my lifestyle.

01:27Okay, why would I go and say bye-bye to Miami in the winter, bye-bye to San Tropez in the summer,

01:31and bye-bye to spring and fall in New York?

01:33I have a perfect life.
