00:01Hello and welcome. Good evening. You're watching Super 6 here on India Today.
00:04I'm Akshita Nantikopal. Over the next one hour, I'll be running you through the top stories
00:09over the next 60 minutes of the day. We'll focus, of course, on what's happening in the southern
00:14state. So let's begin with a glimpse of what to expect over the next one hour. Our focus
00:19remains on Karnataka. Round two of the breakfast bonhomie that happened between D.K. Shurkumar
00:25and Sidra Maya, where they referred to each other as brothers, with a message of all is
00:30well. But what's happening in the national capital? Sources indicating that D.K. Shurkumar
00:34sought a meeting with the high command, but was shot down. Sidra Maya, meanwhile, asked
00:38about when D.K. Shurkumar will be made the chief minister, says when the high command decides.
00:43All of this lead into questions about what really Delhi, the high command, is thinking.
00:48We'll get you all of those details, but also coming up on the show at 6.30, we'll tell you
00:53about how Revant Reddy, the Telangana chief minister, is gearing up to take on none other
00:59than Messi, the football legend. This is going to be a match like no other. All the details
01:04coming up on the Telangana chief minister's clash with Messi. I'm Akshita Nandha Gopal.

03:27The censor board has cleared the film for release on December 5th, classifies it as a work of fiction.
03:33It's been given an A-certificate.
03:41Ranveer Singh meanwhile has also apologized after outrage over his Kalthara mimicry.
03:46The actor says he wanted to highlight Rishabh Shetty's performance and never meant to hurt sentiments.
04:03We apologize for that error but finally the Telangana chief minister, Revant Reddy, getting ready to welcome Messi.
04:11Seen training on the pitch ahead of the clash with the Argentinian legend.
04:14All right, let's get your top focus here on Super 6.
04:21What's been happening in Karnataka?
04:22We've been tracking it for the last many days and today you saw a second breakfast meeting that took place.
04:28And pictures again with a message of unity between Sidramaya and D. Keshav Kumar.
04:33They referred to each other as brothers said very clearly that there is no rift whatsoever.
04:38The first time around, it was a clear nudge from the high command.
04:41We don't know what really triggered the second round of meeting.
04:45But one thing is very, very clear.
04:46That while you see this picture of unity, they refer to each other as brothers, they continue to have meals together.
04:52The reality is that there has been no decision on who really will be the chief minister of Karnataka going forward.
04:58Reportedly, D. Keshav Kumar sought a meeting with the high command that has been shot down.
05:02Piping hot idlis, naati chicken, dosa, upma, coffee and charcha over the CM chair.
05:21The DK brothers, Shiva Kumar and Suresh, welcomed Chief Minister Sidramaya with flowers and a silk shawl, signaling that all was well between the two.
05:29The most anticipated round two of dialogue between Karnataka Chief Minister Sidramaya and his deputy D. Keshav Kumar took place at the latter's residence.
05:40Without wasting time, the leaders got down to business.
05:44Also in attendance was Shiv Kumar's relative and MLA HD Ranganath.
05:49The meeting lasted for more than an hour.
05:51Both of us had a breakfast and D. Keshav Kumar was also present and Kunigal MLA, Ranganath was also there.
06:08So, we four jointly had a meeting, I mean, had a breakfast and we were not discussing anything during the breakfast.
06:21After the meeting, Shiv Kumar and Sidramaya jointly addressed the media, with the two leaders denying any rift between them.
06:30All our MLS are united.
06:35Unitedly, we'll face the opposition.
06:38The key takeaway of the meeting was the Chief Minister acknowledging Shiv Kumar's chief ministerial aspirations.
06:55Evidently, the power bid hasn't gone as planned for Shiv Kumar.
06:59Sources tell India today, the Deputy Chief Minister was declined audience by the High Command.
07:03Sources also say that Shiv Kumar has been told that there will be no change of guard right now.
07:11Different peoples have different aspirations.
07:15I don't think it is wrong.
07:17And naturally, they look at their own leaders.
07:22They consider somebody as their leaders.
07:26So, naturally, their aspirations, they express when the time comes.
07:31Shiv Kumar's supporters are upset with the way things have ended.
07:36The BGP described the truce between Sidramaya and Shiv Kumar as an interval before the real action kicks off.
07:39The BGP described the truce between Sidramaya and Shiv Kumar as an interval before the real action kicks off.
08:03...before the real action kicks off.
08:25While the two tallest leaders of the Karnataka Congress...
08:28...have agreed to a ceasefire...
08:29...all bets are off on to how long this truce will last.
08:34Second breakfast meeting in less than a week.
08:37Old wine in a new bottle.
08:40Both the leaders say that the ball is in high command's court...
08:43...and high command have to take a decision.
08:46On the other side, chief minister also claims that...
08:49...whatever happens, let it happen.
08:51And politics is not his father's property.
08:55The bigger question is when the high command will intervene...
08:59...and put an end to this political transition controversy...
09:03...in Karnataka Congress government.
09:06Visited journalist Madhu, Sagaraj...
09:07...reporting for India Today, Bengaluru.
09:09So what's actually happening behind the scenes...
09:14...in these non-stop breakfast meets...
09:16...that we're actually seeing in Bengaluru?
09:18I'll bring in Sagaraj.
09:19He's joining us live from Bengaluru.
09:20He's been reporting from D.K. Shivkumar's residence.
09:23We also have Moshmi Singh tracking the latest updates...
09:24...if there are any, honestly, from Delhi.
09:28Sagaraj, I'll come across to you first...
09:30...on what's happening in Bengaluru.
09:32What necessitated this second breakfast meet, Sagaraj?
09:34Was this also a result of a nudge from the high command?
09:40Yes, if you notice that this was, again, a damage control...
09:43...after the instructions of our high command...
09:46...stating that you need to sort out the issue...
09:48...and the invitation was extended by D.K. Shivkumar...
09:51...asked the CM, invited him for the breakfast...
09:53...and this particular meeting, according to them...
09:55...have not transpired anything.
09:56However, our socials have made it clear...
09:59...that Siddharamaya was hell-bent...
10:02...stating that until unless he doesn't get a green signal...
10:05...from the high command, he will not vacate his chair.
10:08And D.K. Shivkumar will wait for a longer time...
10:11...since he has not got any kind of communication...
10:14...yet from high command over power transition in the state.
10:19So, this waiting will continue...
10:23...until unless the high command intervenes in this.
10:26And if you notice that, both the leaders...
10:27...both the leaders have categorically mentioned...
10:30...the ball is in the high command's court...
10:32...and they have to call them...
10:33...and they have to sort out this particular issue.
10:37That's right.
10:38They're saying, of course, all is well...
10:40...the messaging here is of unity in Bengaluru...
10:43...of Bonhomi, of brotherhood and whatnot.
10:46But the reality is that they're going to be on edge...
10:48...till there's a decision taken by the high command.
10:50So, what's on the high command's mind right now?
10:52Well, they're considering clearly...
10:54...to delay the complete decision.
10:56Why?
10:56Because it gives them more time to assess the political situation...
11:00...examine all pros and cons in detail of who to pick and why.
11:04D.K. Shivkumar reportedly is willing to wait till April 2026...
11:09...in which case it makes sense...
11:11...because Sudra Maya has made a clear...
11:12...that he wants to continue till March.
11:14Why till March?
11:14Because that will make Sudra Maya...
11:16...the longest-serving chief minister...
11:17...in Karnataka's history.
11:18He wants that milestone.
11:20He wants that to bring his political legacy alive.
11:23And so, there's a possibility that delaying the decision...
11:25...works perfectly for everyone.
11:27And, mind you, the high command has rejected any invite...
11:31...to D.K. Shivkumar snubbed his request for a meeting.
11:34What this does is...
11:36...the high command is putting the honours directly...
11:37...on D.K. Shivkumar and Sudra Maya...
11:39...to resolve their issues directly.
11:41And, also to ensure that there's no optics...
11:45...that one leader is being favoured over the other.
11:48Meeting with a D.K. Shivkumar, not meeting with a Sudra Maya...
11:50...will lead to endless speculation about which way this is going.
11:54But, what happens really?
11:55Is there going to be a Delhi trip or not?
11:58Well, at this point...
11:59...Deli trips for the Karnataka agenda...
12:02...is all that's going to happen.
12:03The high command has told both Sudra Maya and D.K. Shivkumar...
12:06...to prioritise administration, to prioritise governance...
12:08...and ensure that you don't hand it over on a platter to the BJP...
12:12...which has been raising this issue of governance in Karnataka...
12:15...saying it suffered as a result of the CM fight.
12:18I'll bring in Moshmi Singh for more details on this.
12:20Moshmi, the first factor that we spoke of...
12:22...of the delay in the decision...
12:24...does that seem likely...
12:25...that, you know, the high command is trying to buy time here...
12:28...push it about March, April...
12:29...which makes that decision that much more easier?
12:34Absolutely, Akshita.
12:34I think that is highly likely...
12:36...and also that I have learnt that yesterday...
12:39...Rahul Gandhi and Malika Arjun Parge...
12:41...in the parliament had taken a short briefing...
12:45...from the state-in-charge, Randeep Surjewala...
12:48...but there was no mention of any change...
12:50...in the status quo that was prevailing in Karnataka...
12:54...with the power equation is concerned...
12:56...and that really means...
12:58...that the party high command right now...
13:00...would like to buy time...
13:02...till perhaps March...
13:03...before they can have any change over...
13:07...and importantly...
13:09...also because the parliament session is on...
13:12...I don't see that there is any, you know, audience...
13:15...that the Karnataka leaders are going to get...
13:18...in any time in the next 10 days...
13:21...because there's already too much on the plateau...
13:23...for the party leadership.
13:24All right, thanks very much Moshmi for joining us with all of those details...
13:29...it'll be interesting to see what happens...
13:31...if anything at all happens honestly in Delhi from the high command...
13:34...thanks Moshmi, thanks Agai for joining us with those details...
13:36...that we bring in on this broadcast...
13:38...Bhaskar Rao, spokesperson of the Karnataka BJP...
13:40...who's also served as the Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru...
13:43...Nikhil Jain, political consultant and advocate...
13:46...is also with us...
13:47...good evening, namaskara to both of you...
13:49...Mr. Bhaskar Rao, you saw the messaging today...
13:51...from D.K. Shivkumar and Sidramaya...
13:53...and Sidramaya, they say we're brothers...
13:55...that there's no problem whatsoever...
13:56...that there's no question of governance taking a hit.
13:59Only from today onwards...
14:02...they look like brothers...
14:03...but what I can tell you is that...
14:05...Karnataka is not having a chief minister...
14:07...it is having a caretaker chief minister...
14:10...because the dates are being conjectured...
14:13...development has taken a casualty...
14:15...corruption has increased...
14:17...and there is no governance in the state now...
14:20...and when the people gave a huge mandate of 136 seats...
14:24...they never spoke about power sharing.
14:26If at all they had to share power...
14:28...it should have been done so quietly...
14:30...and with dignity.
14:32The High Command has abdicated its responsibility...
14:35...by throwing the ball back into the court...
14:37...of D.K. Shivkumar and Sidramaya.
14:39Breakfast after breakfast and lunch after lunch...
14:42...is not going to solve their problem...
14:44...when inherently both of them are looking...
14:47...at grabbing and retaining power.
14:51So we have to only see...
14:53...when the High Command is actually going to show its teeth...
14:57...or what Mr. Kharge mentioned a couple of days ago...
15:00...that he is going to administer some medicines.
15:02So probably somebody is very very sick...
15:04...and medicine needs to be administered...
15:06...to these people...
15:08...as per the words of Shri Kharge himself...
15:11...in one of these interviews on your own channel...
15:13...if you could kindly recall.
15:15So there is a need for administration of medicine...
15:18...and there is a caretaker chief minister...
15:20...there is no development...
15:21...there is only corruption...
15:22...and peak High Command.
15:24Okay Nikhil...
15:25...you know you have heard the BGB...
15:27...they are constantly saying that...
15:29...there is no governance in Karnataka...
15:31...and now with all of this talk...
15:33...that look the High Command is going to be pushing this...
15:35...for a few months...
15:36...does that lead to you know...
15:38...stagnant state of affairs in Karnataka?
15:41It's not really helping...
15:42...the fact that you know...
15:43...all these optics you are seeing...
15:44...between Sidramaya and DK Shivkumar...
15:46...we all ultimately know what the ambition is.
15:48No Akshita...
15:50...like I have said on our show before...
15:51...I think the BJP in Karnataka...
15:53...is acting like that nosy neighbour...
15:55...who is most concerned about...
15:56...what is happening in the other person's house...
15:58...what are they eating for breakfast...
15:59...what are they eating for lunch...
16:00...they are the opposition in Karnataka...
16:02...they should be concerned about...
16:03...whether the government is working or not...
16:05...yet when you give the floor to the BJP spokesperson...
16:07...all that he's talked about is...
16:09...DK Shivkumar and Sidramaya.
16:10First of all he said that...
16:12...you know when the Communist Party...
16:14...was contesting the elections...
16:15...they never went with a power sharing formula...
16:17...no party does...
16:18...but it was amply clear to the voters...
16:20...that it would be a government led by two individuals...
16:22...that was there on all the social media posts...
16:24...that they were putting out...
16:26...on all the holdings...
16:27...you saw Sidramaya and DK Shivkumar.
16:29So far as governance is concerned...
16:31...every time I'm faced with this question...
16:33...that what would happen to...
16:34...Karnataka Congress's government...
16:35...and I try to look up facts...
16:37...and every time I have new facts...
16:39...I can tell you...
16:40...2500 crores has been put towards...
16:43...I'm sorry...
16:44...2500 crores has been allocated...
16:46...towards building 500 new...
16:48...Karnataka public schools...
16:49...1.42 crore consumers are benefiting...
16:51...from the 200 units of electricity...
16:54...in their households...
16:55...there are waste management projects...
16:57...are being done...
16:58...double-decker tunnels...
16:59...and double-decker flyovers...
17:00...have been sanctioned for Bangalore...
17:02...a new...
17:03...multiple new IT cities...
17:04...have been set up...
17:05...115 MOUs have been signed...
17:06...with 6.5...
17:07...Vastu Rao...
17:08...you're saying no...
17:09...but Nikhil is giving you numbers...
17:10...he's giving you details...
17:11...of each decision...
17:12...and if you want...
17:13...I can give you the sourcing...
17:14...it last two and a half years...
17:16...what is it that has happened...
17:17...on the ground...
17:18...these are only empty promises...
17:19...and last two and a half years...
17:21...DK Shivkumar has been...
17:22...at the neck of Sidramaya...
17:23...when is he going to Cuba...
17:25...and the high command themselves...
17:26...at least made a vain attempt...
17:28...to silence them...
17:29...on the social media over there...
17:31...so you're saying...
17:32...governance is taking a hit sir...
17:34...since Nikhil has given us...
17:35...pointed examples...
17:36...why don't you give us...
17:37...examples...
17:38...of how governance has been crippled...
17:39...as you allege...
17:40...governance has been...
17:41...there is no investment...
17:42...in Bangalore City...
17:43...to fill up the potholes...
17:45...over there...
17:46...there is no investment...
17:47...throughout Karnataka...
17:48...not a single foundation stone...
17:49...has been laid...
17:50...not a single program...
17:51...has been inaugurated...
17:52...what more statistics...
17:53...does he want...
17:54...and whatever Nikhil Jain...
17:55...is saying...
17:56...is only plans...
17:57...programs...
17:58...on paper...
17:59...what is it that has...
18:00...how has the common citizen benefited...
18:01...look at the plight of farmers...
18:03...are they getting...
18:04...the due for...
18:05...the sugar cane prices...
18:06...what about the maize...
18:08...that also is in tantrums over there...
18:09...what did he give any money...
18:10...for the flood affected...
18:11...nothing has been done...
18:12...previously...
18:13...there was a drought...
18:14...in certain part...
18:15...was any money given over there...
18:16...even that money...
18:17...has also not been given...
18:18...Sidramaya had promised...
18:19...lot of money...
18:20...for those people...
18:21...who were killed...
18:22...during the...
18:23...cricket stampede over there...
18:24...even that money...
18:25...also had not been paid...
18:26...lot...
18:27...all the projects...
18:28...that were starting...
18:29...during our period...
18:30...have been paralyzed...
18:31...whatever Nikhil Jain...
18:32...has been saying...
18:33...has been fed to him...
18:34...from somebody from...
18:35...Bangalore...
18:36...nothing is happening...
18:37...and no governance...
18:38...is taking place...
18:39...tell me...
18:40...one program...
18:41...that you have inaugurated...
18:42...one building you have inaugurated...
18:43...one bridge you have inaugurated...
18:44...okay Nikhil...
18:45...your response...
18:46...for I have inaugurated...
18:47...absolutely my response...
18:48...no sense at all...
18:49...sir...
18:50...can I please now speak...
18:51...can I please now speak...
18:52...in 2025...
18:53...a 19 kilometer...
18:54...yellow line...
18:55...of the Nama Metro...
18:56...was made operational...
18:57...that I think...
18:58...is in the Congress...
18:59...government's credit...
19:00...July 2024...
19:01...the first...
19:02...double-decker...
19:03...rail come road...
19:04...flyover...
19:05...in Bengaluru...
19:06...was inaugurated...
19:07...it's called...
19:08...the Ragigoda...
19:09...Silk...
19:10...board flyover...
19:11...I'm sorry...
19:12...if I'm mispronouncing...
19:13...the names...
19:14...then...
19:15...a 280 kilometer...
19:16...access controlled...
19:17...express fair...
19:18...passing through...
19:19...12 towns...
19:20...was partially inaugurated...
19:21...Bengaluru...
19:22...suburban rail project...
19:23...which...
19:24...construction for that...
19:25...began in 2024...
19:26...statements...
19:27...kuch nahi hua...
19:28...potholes are not filled...
19:29...let's talk about the last two weeks...
19:30...then Nikhil...
19:31...let's talk about the last two weeks...
19:32...because that's when we've been seeing this fight play out...
19:35...in the last two weeks...
19:36...the question is whether...
19:37...because of that...
19:38...the last two weeks...
19:39...we've been seeing this tussle...
19:40...and this ego fight...
19:41...because of that...
19:42...governance has taken a hit...
19:43...not overall...
19:46...Sakshita...
19:47...I think that is too small...
19:48...a time frame...
19:49...and a window...
19:50...for any government to be...
19:51...opening up new projects...
19:52...it surely matters...
19:53...Mikhil...
19:54...every day matters...
19:55...it certainly does matter...
19:56...but if you ask me...
19:57...has any inauguration happened...
19:58...in the past two weeks...
19:59...I think that is too small a window...
20:01...here we have the Prime Minister...
20:02...who promised two crore jobs per year...
20:04...eleven years ago...
20:05...and nobody's asking...
20:06...of course India today does...
20:07...but by and large...
20:08...nobody asks them questions about that...
20:10...I've told Mr Rao...
20:11...so many projects...
20:12...that have been inaugurated...
20:13...in the past two and a half years...
20:15...okay...
20:16...I have something...
20:17...from 14 days ago...
20:18...DK Shuf Kumar announces...
20:19...major upgrades...
20:20...intrastructure boost...
20:21...in Bengaluru...
20:22...worth one crore...
20:23...even that is an empty promise...
20:24...now I can't really help it...
20:25...if you're not willing...
20:26...to believe the two and a half years...
20:27...of social welfare...
20:28...direct benefit transfers...
20:29...that have been made...
20:30...infrastructure projects...
20:31...that have been opened...
20:32...infrastructure projects...
20:33...that have started...
20:34...budget sanctions...
20:35...that have been made...
20:36...the charge here...
20:37...is that no...
20:38...governance hasn't taken a hit...
20:39...you look for example...
20:40...you referred...
20:41...to farmers...
20:42...who've been flood hit...
20:43...there was a special package...
20:44...that was announced...
20:45...a couple of days ago...
20:46...for them as well...
20:47...by the Karnataka government...
20:48...so are...
20:49...is the BJP...
20:50...trying to politicize...
20:51...a non-issue here...
20:52...the BJP...
20:53...the BJP...
20:54...when it had raised...
20:55...the farmers issue...
20:56...initially...
20:57...the government agreed...
20:58...that it is going to pay...
20:59...3,200...
21:00...for the sugar cane...
21:01...and the farmers...
21:03...are back on the streets...
21:04...over there...
21:05...maize has not been lifted...
21:06...though...
21:07...government of India...
21:08...announced the MSP...
21:09...for maize...
21:10...only at the last moment...
21:11...they come out with a...
21:12...government order...
21:13...and it takes more than...
21:14...a month and a half...
21:15...for them to set up...
21:16...an infrastructure...
21:17...what is it that they were doing...
21:18...caught napping...
21:19...and as Nikhil was asking...
21:20...what is it that has been done...
21:21...too short a period...
21:22...over there...
21:23...there is no preparation...
21:24...there is no anticipation...
21:25...to solve a problem...
21:26...all the time...
21:27...you tell me...
21:28...Nikhilji...
21:29...which minister has visited...
21:30...the district...
21:31...and conducted a review...
21:32...for the development...
21:33...you give me one example...
21:34...one KDP meeting...
21:35...that has been held...
21:36...to monitor development...
21:38...and to ensure that...
21:39...money that has been given...
21:40...you mentioned...
21:41...the number of projects...
21:42...which were inaugurated...
21:43...who started this project...
21:44...Double Decker was started...
21:45...by the BJP government...
21:46...LO Line was started...
21:47...by the BJP government...
21:48...over there...
21:49...all these have been started...
21:50...by us over there...
21:51...which we have brought it...
21:52...to a concluding end...
21:53...and then you take credit...
21:54...for what we have done over there...
21:55...the last two and a half years...
21:56...any project...
21:57...and inaugurated it...
21:58...whereas in Government of India...
21:59...for the whole country itself...
22:00...projects are conceived...
22:02...planned...
22:03...and executed...
22:04...and inaugurated...
22:05...Nikhil, quickly...
22:06...your response...
22:07Mr. Rao...
22:08...you can't keep on...
22:09...shifting goalposts...
22:10...when you ask me...
22:11...for inaugurations...
22:12...I give you inaugurations...
22:13...when I was earlier...
22:14...talking about projects...
22:15...that have been sanctioned...
22:16...you say that...
22:17...we are not planning anything...
22:18...but the...
22:19...sanctioning itself...
22:20...is the planning part of it...
22:21...when something is...
22:22...partially opening...
22:23...that is part of the process...
22:24...you can't keep on...
22:25...shifting goalposts...
22:26...are you expecting...
22:27...that in two and a half years...
22:28...a new transport...
22:29...infrastructure project...
22:30...would be planned...
22:31...budget would be sanctioned...
22:32...it would be started...
22:33...inaugurated...
22:34...that doesn't happen...
22:35...let's not...
22:36...become unreasonable...
22:37...Mr. Rao...
22:38...you're a very senior individual...
22:39...you're smart...
22:40...you've been in bureaucracy...
22:41...you understand...
22:42...the pace of things...
22:43...I've given you...
22:44...examples of reach...
22:45...and by the way...
22:47...on the May's procurement...
22:48...as well...
22:49...the government did announce...
22:50...a recent...
22:51...procurement of...
22:52...700 crores...
22:53...I'll have to check...
22:54...the figures on that...
22:55...you know...
22:56...we've spoken...
22:57...about governance...
22:58...about administration...
22:59...I'll leave it to our viewers...
23:00...to decide...
23:01...which way really...
23:02...whether governance...
23:03...has taken a hit or not...
23:04...but let's just focus...
23:05...on the situation...
23:06...right now...
23:07...Nikhil Jain...
23:08...you know...
23:09...when DK Shivkumar...
23:10...is denied a meeting...
23:11...with the High Command...
23:12...how do we read into that...
23:13...is this the High Command...
23:14...saying that...
23:15...look we're not willing...
23:16...to take a decision...
23:17...right now...
23:18...and is that smart...
23:19...looking at what's happening...
23:20...in Karnataka...
23:21...and that the BJP...
23:22...is just waiting...
23:23...to make the most of it...
23:24...Akshita...
23:25...with all due respect...
23:26...to your sources...
23:27...all these things...
23:28...that we heard...
23:29...or he did not get a meeting...
23:30...or he got a meeting...
23:31...all these are...
23:32...source-based information...
23:33...unidentified...
23:34...unknown source-based information...
23:35...nobody really knows...
23:36...what conspires...
23:37...between the two leaders...
23:38...and the High Command...
23:39...for all we know...
23:40...they're all hunky-dory...
23:41...and it is just...
23:42...Mr. Ashif Kumar...
23:43...you know...
23:44...asserting to the High Command...
23:45...that I have certain...
23:46...aspirations...
23:47...which is perfectly fine...
23:48...in a democracy to have...
23:49...he has aspirations...
23:50...but it should also be addressed...
23:52...which is not happening...
23:53...but has it not been addressed...
23:54...this is what...
23:55...the sixth day...
23:56...we're talking about...
23:57...what's happening...
23:58...and there's still...
23:59...nothing from the High Command...
24:00...zulch...
24:01...but that's the point...
24:02...when the two leaders...
24:03...concerned...
24:04...who are supposedly...
24:05...sparring with each other...
24:06...and supposedly at war...
24:07...with each other...
24:08...I can see on a screen...
24:09...right now...
24:10...they're shaking hands...
24:11...one leader...
24:12...is presenting a shawl...
24:13...to another...
24:14...they're being happy...
24:15...they're talking about...
24:16...working relationship...
24:17...there's no doubt about that...
24:18...Mr. Bhaskar Rao quickly...
24:19...in fact...
24:20...Nikhil Jain...
24:21...is not aware of the...
24:22...ground situation over here...
24:23...he's speaking somewhere...
24:24...from Delhi...
24:25...based on some...
24:26...press release...
24:27...and statistics over there...
24:28...the situation on the ground...
24:29...is absolutely different...
24:30...they have been...
24:31...they're drawn swords...
24:32...at each other...
24:33...and they have no idea...
24:34...of what kind of fight...
24:35...it is going on...
24:36...and as you said...
24:37...nosy neighbor...
24:38...we are not...
24:39...nosy neighbors...
24:40...trying to find out...
24:41...whether they're eating...
24:42...idli...
24:43...or whether they're eating...
24:44...because you're not...
24:45...governing...
24:46...and all we're interested...
24:47...is governing...
24:48...not eating...
24:49...sambar...
24:50...or idli...
24:51...or chicken...
24:52...as a result...
24:53...of all these...
24:54...breakfast meats...
24:55...we've gotten a sense...
24:56...of what the Chief Minister...
24:57...and Deputy Chief Minister...
24:58...now like...
24:59...in their breakfast menu...
25:00...he said that...
25:01...no ministers have visited...
25:02...districts...
25:03...I have Dinesh Gundu Rao...
25:04...the Health Minister...
25:05...who chaired...
25:06...a high-level...
25:07...committee meeting...
25:08...regarding...
25:09...forest disease...
25:10...affecting districts...
25:11...of Chikamangaloo...
25:12...Shivamuga...
25:13...all right...
25:14...Nikhil Jain...
25:15...Baskar Rao...
25:16...thank you very much...
25:17...for joining us...
25:18...I suspect...
25:19...that with the way...
25:20...things are going...
25:21...we're going to continue...
25:22...tracking very closely...
25:23...what's happening...
25:24...in Karnataka...
25:25...because at this point...
25:26...the High Command...
25:27...seems to be in no...
25:28...tearing hurry...
25:29...even as...
25:30...in Bengaluru...
25:31...you're having these...
25:32...breakfast meats...
25:33...and what not...
25:34...a message of unity...
25:35...sure...
25:36...but when both of them...
25:37...are eyeing the same...
25:38...throne...
25:39...the same chair...
25:40...how long can this...
25:42...joining us...
25:43...let's cut across...
25:44...to breaking news...
25:45...coming in...
25:52...let's move to...
25:53...the political showdown...
25:54...in Andhra Pradesh...
25:55...as the YSRCP...
25:56...Chief...
25:57...under fire...
25:58...over a lavish lifestyle...
26:00...and RTI response...
26:01...has claimed...
26:02...that Jaganmohan Reddy...
26:03...spent...
26:04...223 crore...
26:06...on air travel...
26:07...in five years...
26:08...the TDP...
26:09...has referred to this...
26:10...RTI...
26:11...to lash out...
26:12...at Jaganmohan Reddy...
26:13...accusing him...
26:14...of...
26:15...having a lavish lifestyle...
26:16...as chief minister...
26:17...and that money...
26:18...was used...
26:19...for his own...
26:20...sperge...
26:21...rather than...
26:22...YSRCP...
26:23...meanwhile...
26:24...has responded...
26:25...saying...
26:26...show the full record...
26:27...of Chandra Babu Naidu's...
26:28...air travel bills...
26:29...as chief minister...
26:30...and then...
26:31...we will see...
26:32...exactly...
26:33...what kind of numbers...
26:34...we're talking about...
26:35...the YSRCP alleges...
26:36...that it's not just...
26:37...Chandra Babu Naidu...
26:38...but also...
26:39...Naran Oakesh...
26:40...the deputy chief minister...
26:41...Pavan Kalyan...
26:42...all who have been...
26:43...flying in luxury...
26:44...chartered planes...
26:45...and private jets...
26:46...let me bring in...
26:47...Apurva...
26:48...Jet Chandra...
26:49...for more details on this...
26:52...let's splurge...
26:53...the RTI reply...
26:54...claiming...
26:55...that about...
26:56...200 crores...
26:57...was spent...
26:58...by the then...
26:59...Chief Minister...
27:00...Jangan Mohan Reddy...
27:01...for his air travel...
27:04...In fact...
27:05...what we are...
27:06...getting to learn...
27:07...is that...
27:08...this RTI...
27:09...has revealed...
27:10...over...
27:11...223...
27:12...cours worth...
27:13...of money...
27:14...that had been...
27:15...spent for...
27:16...this travel...
27:17...by then...
27:18...former...
27:19...Chief Minister...
27:20...2019...
27:21...and 2025...
27:22...we are also...
27:23...getting to learn...
27:24...that...
27:25...based on this RTI...
27:26...there has been...
27:27...a political...
27:28...war...
27:29...that has now...
27:30...erupted...
27:31...between the...
27:32...TDP...
27:33...another location...
27:34...has tweeted...
27:35...saying that...
27:36...on one side...
27:37...you have...
27:38...you know...
27:39...Tours there...
27:40...costing over...
27:41...Rupees 200...
27:42...Crores...
27:43...while...
27:44...on the other side...
27:45...you have seen...
27:46...a 500-Crores...
27:47...pallacial structure...
27:48...that had been...
27:49...built at...
27:50...Rushikonda...
27:51...after the other...
27:52...there...
27:53...in fact...
27:54...this RTI...
27:55...has not only...
27:56...revealed...
27:57...that this...
27:58...money...
27:59...was spent...
28:00...for...
28:01...the travel...
28:02...in fact...
28:03...the YSRCP...
28:04...has taken to...
28:05...Platform X...
28:06...where...
28:07...they have gone ahead...
28:08...and...
28:09...you know...
28:10...tweeted...
28:11...that...
28:12...this is nothing...
28:13...let's take...
28:14...records...
28:15...of...
28:16...Naran...
28:17...Lokesh...
28:18...and...
28:19...in fact...
28:20...YSRCP has also...
28:21...claimed...
28:22...that...
28:23...all...
28:24...the three of...
28:25...leaders...
28:26...have been...
28:27...doing...
28:28...the political...
28:29...fight...
28:30...continuing...
28:31...masses...
28:32...plurged...
28:33...by Jagan...
28:34...the YSRCP has responded...
28:35...saying...
28:36...why don't you put out...
28:37...the details of...
28:38...the amount...
28:39...spent on air travel...
28:40...by Naidu...
28:41...by Nara Lokesh...
28:42...and...
28:43...by Pawan Kalyan...
28:44...we're going to...
28:45...continue tracking...
28:46...this very closely...
28:47...thanks...
28:48...apurva...
28:49...for those details...
28:50...more breaking news...
28:51...coming in...
28:52...Dalankana...
28:53...Chief Minister...
28:54...Revant Reddy...
28:55...meanwal...
28:56...has found himself...
28:57...in the midst...
28:58...of a controversy...
28:59...Hindu deities...
29:00...and the number...
29:01...of Hindu deities...
29:02...that there are...
29:03...the Telangana...
29:04...Chief Minister...
29:05...says...
29:06...Hanuman...
29:07...is the god...
29:08...of those...
29:09...who are unmarried...
29:10...some offer...
29:11...alcohol...
29:12...and hen...
29:13...to few gods...
29:14...essentially indicating...
29:15...be each one of them...
29:16...the BJP...
29:17...is lashed out...
29:18...at the Telangana...
29:19...Chief Minister...
29:20...accusing him...
29:21...of mocking...
29:22...Hindu deities...
29:23...and has also...
29:24...demanded...
29:25...an apology...
29:26...from the Telangana...
29:27...Chief Minister...
29:28...Hindu...
29:29...Hindu...
29:30...may n If...
29:32...may...
29:34...nd....
29:36... wahrscheinlich...
29:37...this one...
29:38...
29:41...may...
29:42...yo...
29:43...ana...
29:48...xic...
29:51foreign
30:21They are also ashamed, today they should be ashamed of Revant Reddy.
30:26If you want to ask an immediate apology,
30:30if you want to give a statement like this,
30:33then you will be deprived of Hindu society
30:36and you will be a joker,
30:38the whole Hindu society will be a joker.
30:51The BRS with you on this.
30:56Well, yes, after the Chief Minister had landed into a controversy
31:00after his statement during a TPCC executive meeting,
31:02the BJP has clearly said that the Chief Minister has tried to hurt the Hindu sentiments
31:09and he is an anti-Hindu Chief Minister, is what the BJP has said.
31:12Now, what the BRS has to say, we will listen through Dr. Dasarju Shrawan, sir,
31:17an MLC from here, sir.
31:18What exactly does the BRS have to say on the statements of Chief Minister?
31:21It looks like Congress party in Telangana is sunk to a new low
31:28in terms of ideological thinking.
31:31Revant Reddy as the Chief Minister is ravaging the entire secular fabric of Telangana state.
31:38Sometime back, he insulted Muslims that Congress
31:43Today, he says that bachelors have got Hanuman as a god
31:50and drunkards have got another Hindu god.
31:53If they marry twice, they have another god.
31:55If they are vegetarians, one god.
31:57Like that, I think he hurt the entire sentiments of Hindu religious people
32:02and as well as the Muslims and this man thinking...
32:04What is the demand that is?
32:05I am demanding, I am asking Rahul Gandhi ji.
32:09Is Congress party become intellectually bankrupt and ideologically bankrupt?
32:14Do you really believe in your so-called secularism?
32:17If what is spoken by Raven Threddy is unconstitutional, illegal and anti-secular,
32:23why not Congress party takes an action against him?
32:26If Congress party is not taking an action against him,
32:28which means that Congress also is colluded in this kind of a third-rate mindset.
32:32The BRS lashing out at the Congress saying why no action against Revant Reddy.
32:35Thanks, Abdul, for getting us that reaction from the BRS.
32:38We will track very closely all the updates on that story.
32:42We are going to see a very unique moment next week in Hyderabad.
32:46A Chief Minister squaring off against a football legend.
32:50That's right, Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy will be playing a game of football against Messi.
32:55I know it sounds unbelievable, but the Telangana CMO has confirmed that there will be a match
33:00between the legend and the Chief Minister in Hyderabad on December 13th.
33:05This is, of course, an exhibition match,
33:07but it doesn't stop the Telangana Chief Minister from going all out in training for the match.
33:12He's been spotted every evening honing his football skills for the much-anticipated encounter.
33:18We honestly don't know how much it will help considering he's up against Messi,
33:21but I guess we're going to see a clash we never thought possible.
33:24Now, if any of you are wondering, what's the point?
33:27Is this misplaced priorities?
33:29Well, the reality is that this will become a global talking point of a political leader taking on Messi.
33:35It's a bold decision, of course, to square off against Messi,
33:38and the attention it will bring to Hyderabad could potentially be game-changing,
33:42especially with Revant Reddy repeatedly making an active pitch for Telangana to host the 2036 Olympics.
33:49So, here's wishing the Chief Minister, Revant Reddy Garu, all the very best.
33:54I doubt he can actually win the game, but it's all about the spirit.
33:57Now, we're quickly shifting focus to the latest updates coming in from Pakistan,
34:09where there have been massive protests by PTI supporters seeking an interaction
34:14with former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
34:17Now, his sister, Uzma Khan, has officially met with Imran Khan at Rawalpindi's Adiyala Jail.
34:23After the massive protests, the authorities gave her permission to meet with Imran.
34:27Now, sister Uzma Khan, after meeting with her brother, has said Imran Khan was very angry.
34:33She claims that Imran Khan is being tortured mentally and that he's been locked in a room all day.
34:39This is what the sister of Imran Khan has said right after getting a chance finally to meet with him.
34:44Listen in to what she said.
35:09Let's bring in Pranay Upadhyay of India Today Global for more details on this.
35:14There's Pranay.
35:15Finally, the sister of Imran Khan getting a chance to meet him.
35:19It ends, of course, all of that suspense.
35:21There were questions of where he is.
35:22Some of his supporters were alleging that he's died in custody.
35:25Clearly, none of that true.
35:26Akshita, family and supporters of Imran Khan have finally got the proof of life for Imran Khan.
35:32But you heard Uzma Khan, sister of Imran Khan.
35:35She clearly implicated Ase Munir, the military chief of Pakistan, for all this, what is happening with Imran Khan.
35:42And also, they got the confirmation that Imran Khan is being kept into solitary confinement,
35:47which is also against the jail manual, against the rules.
35:50And he's still being denied access to his lawyer.
35:53So that remains a question.
35:55Now, why it is being done to Imran Khan?
35:57Clearly, there is a political threat for Imran Khan.
36:01And with his presence in the jail, because Pakistan's military establishment, political establishment,
36:07tried everything to silence him politically as well,
36:10because he has been implicated in different cases.
36:13He's been in jail since like 800 and say about 850 days.
36:18He's in jail.
36:19So since 2023, he's in jail.
36:22And there is no headway, no room for him to come out.
36:26So clearly, now family has got a proof of life for Imran Khan that he's alive.
36:31But he is not in a good shape, per se, because he himself reported to his sister Uzma Khan that he's mentally tortured.
36:37He's been kept into solitary confinement.
36:39And why Pakistani military establishment is trying to confine him and deny him in access to his lawyers and his family.
36:47That still remains a question.
36:48Nobody knows what is the assurance that in the future course as well, will they get access to Imran Khan?
36:53Or again, they have to come up the street and stage these protests.
36:56And I think this is the result of the rising and mounting pressure by the supporters.
37:02It's been an ugly saga that's ultimately culminated in the family getting what they want,
37:07that they've managed to finally meet with Imran Khan.
37:10But the conspiracy allegations continue, the torture allegations continue.
37:14Thanks Pranay for joining us with those details.
37:17Actor Ranveer Singh has broken his silence with the controversy surrounding his Kantara mimicry.
37:24He faced a whole lot of backlash.
37:26He was, of course, showing that he loved Rishabh Shetty's acting, but in the process ended up mocking the daivas of Thulunadu.
37:34Referring to them as a female ghost and they go ahead and mimicking what Rishabh Shetty has done in Kantara.

38:41I saw that in the theatres, Rishabh.
38:45It was an outstanding performance.
38:47Especially when the female ghost gets inside your body.
38:51That performance.
38:53And his on-stage imitation of a character from the movie just weeks ahead of the release of his upcoming action thriller, Durandhar.
39:01Don't you see me in Kantara 3?

39:05Tell him.
39:06Tell him.
39:07Tell him.
39:08The event was attended by Kantara director and actor Rishabh Shetty whom Ranveer warmly acknowledged on stage.
39:15Praising the franchise, he referred to Shetty's portrayal in Kantara Chapter 1 and described the character of Chaundi Gulia Daiva's sister as a female ghost.
39:25Especially when the female ghost gets inside your body.
39:29That performance.
39:30That one shot.
39:32He then mimicked the character.
39:34Crossing his eyes.
39:35Sticking out his tongue.
39:36And delivering his trademark primordial scream.
39:44The act also left Rishabh Shetty laughing in the moment.
39:48I saw that in the theatres, Rishabh.

40:17Tell this guy.
40:18Tell him.
40:19Tell him.
40:20While the audience at the venue responded with amusement, the clip quickly went viral online, sparking intense criticism.
40:27Gets inside your body.
40:28That performance.
40:29That one shot.
40:30Did you see Kantara sir?
40:31You saw it?
40:32The right shot that he gave.
40:33That one.
40:34Many viewers felt that Ranveer's portrayal was insensitive.
40:50Arguing that a depiction of Daiva's whole deep cultural and spiritual significance in Tulunath traditions.
40:58Within minutes, reactions began pouring in on X.
41:01With several users expressing anger and disappointment over the actor's behaviour.
41:06However, the under fire actor has apologised for mimicking Kantara's Daiva scene.
41:22Ranveer Singh took to Instagram asserting that his intention was to highlight Rishabh's incredible performance in the movie and that he respects all cultures and traditions.
41:36The incident as expected has sparked conversations around cultural sensitivity.
41:42Raising questions about whether actors are crossing the line with their casual approach to sensitive content.
41:49Did you see Kantara sir?
41:51You saw it?
